RIP OLD SCHOOL
Thats a fair point, so lets research more - 30p / hour? Thats £3.00 per 10 hour shift [The article states they do 10 hour shifts, not 20 as i had assumed] Three British pounds = 4.6317 U.S. dollars Thats twice as much outlay in wages than the numbers i guessed - Making that method even more expensive. The bots - Accurate price per mil, and the bot costs way less than I had guessed - Making that method even cheaper. ... Pictures not links, as I don't want to make it any easier than my google search was for the innocent and corruptible tip.it community to find the 'blackmarket' ...

Legality of autobumping
dont, it's easier to apologize than it is to ask permission - especially as there's no clear rule concerning it you're not going to get a perm ban either way - worse that can happen is you appeal any action on your forum account with 'i'm sorry - i couldnt find any definitive info on whether it was allowed or not so i assumed it would be ok; i apologize for unintentionally breaking any rules, but afaik jagex had no policy regarding this. i've learnt my lesson and it will not happen again' you'll get off lightly, and this will set a precedent clearing up jagex policy for everyone if you ask permission - they will most like say no right from the outset.

Jagex's recovery system sucks BALLS
AHAHAHAHAH. thats actually immense

Legality of autobumping
do it, just dont publicize it jagex dont really care about a single player bumping his forum threads more regularly [honestly, how petty would that be?] however if a majority were doing it and it gave a quantifiable trading [or otherwise] advantage to those using your script, then jagex would take a stance on it; either making it against the rules, or implementing a forum auto-bump for everyone to use - similar to the fuss regarding world switching clients a few years back

RIP OLD SCHOOL
Hey, can I ask what exactly it is you resent about the new rs as opposed to the old? Free trade and PKing, right? How does the new trading method hinder what you want to do specifically? The only thing I really miss about the old trading system was drop trading, for everything else the GE makes life a lot easier... And PKing - I actually find myself getting better loot than I used to, the experience has changed [Less wandering round looking for dots on the minimap] and I dont think its really better nor worse, just different... Godswords and claws etc definitely make getting a KO much easier.

Not cheaper than botting however... Imagine if your sweatshop consists of 10 workers, playing for 20 hours a day each and sleeping for 4 hours - Paid $2 per day? Assuming each worker generates 400k GP / hour [This can be done without any stats] thats 4 mil GP So ten workers would make a culminated profit of 40 mil each day Gold sells at 2$ per mil Thats 20$ a day outlay [Wages, at least] generating an income of 80$... --- Bot costs $20, multiple instances can be run on multiple computers, round the clock. Each machine runs 3 bots [Could probably run more, but i'd rather underestimate], each bot generates 400k GP / hour [This can be done without any stats] thats (400k x 3) = 1200k/hour pr machine There's 10 machines [One for each previously occupied by a worker] so that means a total of 120mil is generated each day Gold sells at 2$ per mil That's $240 of profit per day [Minus $20 the first day, to purchase the bot.] ... lolwut?

Stealing is moral?
Nope. You're free to vote for a government which doesn't support taxation, or to propose your own.

It's for your own good.

Sure, less likely - But it must be more profitable overall to run 4-5 bots on one pc 24/7, with the risk of a one or two getting banned, than to pay a worker to run 1 account on a pc for 12 hours a day. Maybe I should draw them up a business plan ;)

Duel Arena SUCKS!
HAHA. They aren't going to market it as the 'Number 7.5 free game' are they?

RIP OLD SCHOOL
I never understood this, what RWT business professional would pay sweatshop workers when bots are more efficient and cost less. They could even run multiple bots per pc.
