Absolute fastest Ranged xp?
To go from 80 range to 99 using red chins at Ape Atoll tunnels will set you back around 80M, but will net you on average 200k xp/hr. Above 93 range you can get 240k per hr :) Nothing else comes close to this speed of training, nor the cost!

Apparently, combat owns all.
Pking is just another skill. Some are good at it, while other aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t. You were just unfortunate to find someone who thinks they are good at it, and rely on that skill to determine their prowess in RS. Many players have a combination of skill sets (I would say a high proportion), and most do not venture into wildy on a regular basis for pking. Be glad you are one of the majority, and the knucklehead you met isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t. :)

Im so stupid
I use the please and thankyou method when a death pile appears at my feet. If they return, and ask nicely for stuff back, or enquire if I managed to pick up some stuff ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ I give it back. If they come back demanding that I must give stuff back, then I simply ignore them and wait for manners. If no manners are forthcoming, then neither are their goods. I certainly don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t say ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWhere are your manners̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Range training - Edgeville guards
Now that thousands of bronze arrows are easy to get, and cheap enough ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ go train on guards at black knights castle or hobgoblins. Both are a lot faster than the edge guards ever were. If you are still intent on picking up arrows (cheapskate!), train on minataurs.

New Shops Smash Seller's Market
I think the update is a stroke of brilliance on Jagex̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s behalf. They instantly wiped out billions of gp from the game (good for slowing down inflation), gave us all certainty of price for everyday items, and set proper benchmarks for shop prices. Costs for arrows, runes, vials etc will not swing from now on (unless Jagex change prices) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ and pesky auto buyers are out of business. Now for the flax pickers, yew choppers, nat runners, coal miners, lobby/shark catchers, dragon fighting bots. Surely they can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be too hard to catch :P

range/red chins question
Wrong forum, but have reported it so it should be moved soonish :) 10k chins will get you very close to level 84 range from 79.

Kingdom collecting while f2p?
It does keep collecting, BUT the peasants morale continues to decline! So as long as you are content to lose some money (if contentment goes below the 70% mark), then you will still reap a lot of resources when you become P2P again.

The Most Profitable Part Of The New Shop Update!

The new shop update, leading to a new banking system?
Tabbed or not, a button which would auto arrange my bank (I wouldn't care in what order even!) would help me out soooo badly!

The Most Profitable Part Of The New Shop Update!
Not from the charter ships, where are you getting them? 10 are still available from Tree Gnome shop, but the last I heard, the charter ships no longer stock them :(

Scare Moungering
Auto buyers in shops made up only a fraction of the bots in RS. The main ones are still there, i.e. fishers and woodcutters. Woodcutting will become even more desirebale by bots now, as high alching will become more sought after by people trying to get cash into the game. Lower yew prices will ensue, hence more gp's into RS, and higher nat prices. Just you wait n see.

Tricks with the New Shop System
My max hit with rune arrows with pray/pot is around 23-24, not sure about bolts though coz I have only ever used enchanted ones, so the higher hits are most likely due to the spec hitting (50+ with dstone tips!) Still, like you said, a very cheap range training method, better than stocking up on bronze arrows at 7gp each!

Tricks with the New Shop System
For all you rangers out there (P2P ones anyway) go buy the bone crossbow for around 1k (in Lumby dungeon) and unlimited bone bolts (4gp ea!). I tested them out last night and with pot and pray I hit 23's. yes you read correctly 23!!! They shoot faster imo than normal xbows, and the bolts are equivelant to between addy/rune bolts/arrows. Cheap range training anyone? I now have 50k of these beauties ready to fire.

Best Miscellania combination?
Herbs if you want to get herby up, or coal for pure cash.

67-99 range. 10 def pure. red chins. HELP!
If you are 67 range now, you will need around 40k chins. You hit only 9 skele's at a time max, and sometimes there are only 4 or 5 at a time (coz the others are dead or are lined up incorrectly. Better check your merching guide too, as prices are going wonky atm with the recent update. (I hope you are not water rune merching!)

Best thing to high alch?
Magic longbows are better :P So are dhide bodies.

Orange Dye
Where is the best place to get orange dye? I heard the recent shop update means there is unlimited supply in Varrock shop/clothes shop. is this correct? Members locations are fine :)

The Most Profitable Part Of The New Shop Update!
making balls of wool into cloth perhaps? Not stackable buying, but close to a bank i guess. Not profitable at all though.

Range Training: Cannon or Not?
A cannon gives you only less xp than normal ranging, and no hp ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ it is a slow and expensive method to raise your range faster. If you have the money to burn on the cannon and associated cballs, go for it.

EDIT: How much more xp per hour with knives than arrows?
More like 400-450k. Assuming the average hit is 5 = 20xp per arrow/knife. Average is 5, because you hit 0's a lot! At that you need 435,000 throws to get 8.7M xp.

slayer
With your attack level (able to use a whip), you should go for harder assignments. I suggest doing Lost city assignments, and if you find those too hard, drop down a slayer master. You will initially want assignments that are going to give you heaps of experience in one hit, rather than small amounts of exp with a chance of a decent drop. 160 fire giants would suit you nicely :)

attack ???
If you are staying F2P, then only raise your attack once you have 99 hitpoints, and 99 range, and 99 strength. i.e. 40 attack is ALL you ever want to have in F2P.
