My parents say the same to me. :lol: But the reality is that spending hours a day on a computer (which I fall into that trap somtimes) is just going to make you anti-social. Let alone what it's going to do with your health. :wink: this whoel thing is a load, havent you guys ever heard of a Lan party ? ya get together with people hook up computers and play games or anything. Its just like thier old yahtzee or card game nights except each person has to have a computer in order to pay but even then ive seem some impromtpe partys just set up around a card \ diner table. How is that anti social? ive met a lot of gamer friends at conventions or just walking down the hall in class and seeing hte playing a game and you can instantly strike up a conversation because hey who doesnt love games? admitidly genres can ruin that but still usually the "anti social" people would be and WERE anti social BEFORE they found gaming. they just used gaming as a solo activity. and as for health, moderation is key. most true GAMERS i know are actully pretty fit, you ever seen a halo tournament? that can get pretty active lol. now if you played liek 16hrs a day everyday then yes definitly you got a problem, but it would be the same if yu played cards, watched tv, played chess, or practicly anything else. massive amounts of anything can be bad or you And what about the positive aspects of gaming? i know some kids in my area that just couldnt even do basic math but because they started playing runescape they were working with lots of numbers( buying and selling stuff) now they can at lest do that ( they still arent going to win any nobel prizes thats for sure but it is an improvement :oops: ) plus games can help with your hand-eye cordination, and thinking\ logic skills wth puzzles. runescape is also a great way to learn typing as strange as it sounds. I used to constantly have to look at the keyboard even with classes but now after countless fishing guild hours and other stuff i can type pretty well because of the long convorsations ive had thruout the game so once again; games dont make anti socials, and can actully be good for you in moderation my 2 cents LK1

yea i got some yews and a black helmet but for the exp its not worth all the hassle to make another rod every 10 holds ( especialy since another one can come up and engage you while your trying to force hte potion down the held one wasting a charge since it only lasts so long LK1

okay you get silver dust by tossing a bar into the ecto bone grinder you get 25xp for adding garlic to potion and 25 for adding silver dust the potion can: turn held vampire initiate into human kill held vampire initiate turn them into full vampire that CAN be harmed by normal weapons once you have held 10 vampires the rod crumbles to dust but you are left with the dust in your equipment slot so maybe it has a use ? cant smelt it into another rod i already tried LK1

thats a load i just tried it and when youy use a needle on the hides "nothing interesting happens" and any form of teleing out the hides " all dry out and crumble on contact with air" i hate it when people spread bunk info LK1

oaky everyone YES jagex DOES have a way of telling who has done what quests, for all of you that havent been around as long as some of us oldbies heres the info: back in 2002 they did a massive player "banning" of macroers, insted of banning the people they insulted them and dragged them thru the mud ( as they deserved) by 1 deleting all of thier items and 2 setting all of thier stats back to lovely newbie stats. this was called being "stat wiped" well this was worse then being banned because you still had the character and basicly starting over but all the quests were already completed so you wouldnt get the exp boost they provided. well because of this there were several things needing to be adressed the members could no longer do herblore (required level 3) there was level 3s in the heros guild and could wear rune plate as soon as they got the def level for it( this was before you could buy the map piece) so to fix this they restarted all of the offenders druidic ritual and heros quest so they could no longer abuse the "bug" needless to say vast majority of the people quit or started new characters i only know 1 person that was stuborn enough to keep thier name despite the obvious setbacks and labels placed on them so to recap, yes jagex has a way of looking at peoples quests and have had the ability since rsc :-D LK1

sorry to burst your bubble but i used a level 12 to kill dragon * got challenged by a friend log story* meaning i was in the champs guild at before that *really getting the piece from melzars maze was murder LK1 ps it was on a f2p character too cuz im too cheap to pay 5$ jsut to prove a point :-P

just like a lot of te other slayer monsters if you arent wearing the equip you get hosed, just look at amberant spectors or even banshees, protection from magic\ melee doesnt do jack without the proper equipment LK1 ps thats where a 1 click tele comes in handy :-D

no its even more useless then that, see you pour these "firelighters" on the logs and thenyou use a tinderbox to light them they are 1 time use and are rare so i cant really see th point in them besides adding a lil difference to the color of fires plus adding 10xp LK1

hey everyone there have been rumors running rampant about the new firelighters and i thought i could help clear some up since i got like 13 green from my lvl 3 clue rumor 1) fire Does not burn food, i tested this and i burned 3 out of 8 sharks i stopped there (didnt use cooking gaunts and didnt feel liek sacrificing more sharks to find percentage) rumor2) fires last much longer then normal fires, i lit the green logs and then the normal log right after, they lasted about the same time with the green logs actully burning out sooner i still got most of the lighters having only used the one so i can test other rumors if you post here so far all the logs seem to do is make the fires different color * personaly i like the green fire :-D) LK1

i heard a rumor that the master wand makes you cast spells 2x faster then normal. is this really true? it sounds bunk to me but i thought itd best to talk to people that actully have them, so you notice any difference in speed of casting? LK1

could you expand on that please? do you mean i should tun my antispyware in safe mode? or manually deleting it? if manually deleting it how would i find the files name as my spyware isnt showing the name of the file thanks in advance LK1

hey everyone, i need some help\ advice. I got a keylogger and a particularly nasty one at that. It got past my firewall, and anti - virus software. and everytime my anti spyware deletes it, it reapears any ideas anyone? its coming up as an "advanced keylogger" in my anti spyware software if that helps at all. thanks in advance LK1

i can settle this right here and now, ... get to 82, then use agility pot yay sure youll have to take a dose every time you use it but 1) its a one way trip and 2) that will save a lot more time then training and dodging pkers at wildy course LK1
