the system is still junk i think i put in 19k with max aproval and i only got 1 cad herb 1 potato, 1 onion,1 reberry,1 cadava and 1 gwam seed thats with max on herb and rest on farming... very anoyying moral of storry, all money wihtdrawn and once again the island can just rot LK1 ps i wonder when ill have to merry the princess.. you know like how much longer im free to adventure and flirt with the pretty barmaids before the ole ball and chain gets me? meh

i did the old style once with max money in coffers and max aproval and basicly lost money from it on herbs so i withdrew all my money and told the island to take a hike LK1 ps currently have max approval and 20k in coffers ill let you know when i get loot

okay go to fred the farmers sheep and take some sheers one of the sheep now has a "shear" option... if you look closely youll notice its walking funny and it looks ... odd try shearing it... lol the "sheep" is actully penguins in a sheep costume and when you try to shear them they lift up te costum and shake thier heads LK1 ps there are probly other sneaky little tidbits that jagex snuck into the game

Hehe yes I did, thanks for the laugh :) What I wonder is how many people who asked why you were killing chickens? People always tend to ask when a high level player kill low level npc's....somehow they dont understand that it could be done for fun or for other reasons ;) actully i had a few people just stop and watch me i guess it was amuseing.. one guy even said " Is it really necicary to call the forces of darkness on a chicken?" I got a good laugh from that one and i think i got a ascreenie if anyone wants to see it LK1

okay well about some time last year i started a thread talking about the best uses for guthans like money wise the most effiecient and such.. well some people couldnt get the concept and got confused and such and even had a few saying something along the line of " if you couldnt afford the upkeep why did you buy it?" well after a while longer of confused disscusion i gave an example that " killing chickens or goblins would be a complet waste" that got the thread on track.. but recently i wondered... how many chickens could you kill with a guthans spear? could you actully even break even (by selling the feathers) ? this bugged at me for a while and thus starts my recent stupidity........... so i repair my full guthans to it full glory *angels sing of the shiney newness* so i go off to break my suit on chickens... i quickly realize that with all the 1 hitting im doing im going to break the warspear waaaay before i break the rest of the suit.. so.. i bank the rest of the suit and decide to take the spear and a dds to switch out too as soon as a random apears so it wont mess with my data.. i go hunting these fierce monsters and after a while of killing i realize its going to take waaaay longer then originaly thought because a large portion of my time is spent banking the trophys from these fowl beasts( raw chicken) [i keep the feathers on my to avoid getting them mixxed up] so i decided that for time sake ( and my sanitys) ill degrade it to 75% and stop the moment it hits 75% thus it has been degraded 25% and i can get a good estimate of the number of ze chickens plus amount of feathers earned the following was gained by the 25% degrade my spear just degraded and i have a total of 1239 raw chickens and 7450 feathers from the kills now if i sell the feathers for 10each i could actully profit from using the spear since it will only cost about 25k top repair i buried all the bones and probly going to use the chickens to kill black dragons lol but yea i got about ... 15k combat exp and little over 4k preyer exp all in all.. a complet waste of time :) just liek this thread i guess lol and incase anyone wants to ask no i wont test on other monsters to see how many of whatever i can kill before it degrades... unless i get majorly paid because i wasted so much time for this when i could have been doing other things like... killing imps maybe.. hey they got more hp :-P hope you enjoyed my stupidity LK1

2 things.. firstly the guards dont count as monkeys for some odd reason even thou they are a major pain to kill if your not maging ranging or dharoking... secondly.. the exp is based on thier MAX hp no on the amount of dmg you do otherwise id actully enough banshees because they heal rather quickly

it is chance of not getting in a SINGLE kill. learn combinatorial analysis before posting such words. ive taken analysis and i can tell you your wrong, 63% chance of getting chain? thats rediculous with a base chance of 1 in 50,000 he was write or at lest on the chance of NOT getting one being 49,999/50,000 how the person flopped on thier math and coming up with numbers that high is beyond me.... LK1 ps that 1/50k was just using your guys' examples and numbers the facts are the only way wed know for sure the exact numbers\ ratios would be to look at the code ourselves

well there arent any offical drop rates, but jagex must have a system to determen the drops. So if there is a system then there is also a drop chance no it is just luck and nothing more then big luck like the wheel of fortune there is no way you know whast number comes out because u should always win then hey genious... luck is only a part of it. if it wasnt PROGRAMED into the game where you can get a dragon chain then you wouldnt. getting one or not is luck, but the fact that it DOES drop them was programmed into it as a random occurance its like the chance of getting a 1 on a normal 6 sided dice (normal not those trick dice) that wuld have a chance of 1 in 6 that doesnt mean you get one EVERY 6 its just the odds of it happening. its basicly like every time you kill the monster you get to roll a die. lets say its 1 in 1256 drop rate that means when you kill the monster you roll a 1256 sided die and you get a drop whenever it lands on a certin number, this effect is not cummulitive and you have to reroll the die after each kill and because of that it is statisticly possible to NEVER get a drop is also possible to get a drop every kill,although the likely hood of that happening is so remote it cant happen for practical reasons. Runescape probly has a random geneator similur to deablo where it first checked to see if the monster dropped anything at all or treasure.. then if treasure went on to te next teer to see if it was one of the common drops or the next lvl of rareness.. and so on and so on all the way to the rarest teer. at each teer the computer randromly generates a number and compairs what to do i know my explination is sketchy but if anyone want to know about it just look up helpsites for diablo II and a couple of them talk about the random generation sceems. i know it isnt runescape but if it has a random drop it has a generation sceem. and as far as the 100% drops they most likely just have that tacked onto whatever treasure is decided after its decided to save programing space. they could also have added it to each of the loots but that would have been majorly redundent o.o LK1

actully i was just thinking that for later in the movie that the white knights white staff would be better for gandalf at lest in the last like half of it LK1

if your just trainign for exp use the level 60s or 80s youll get exp basicly just as fast since they are packed into a smaller area, plus you wont be using as much food as they would rarely even hit you the level 120s are more scattered and can hit 11s while the 60s hit much lower( when they hit) and have lower def making them get hit more often LK1 ps price is as of yet not set maybe some people should try selling ? personaly im collecting about 8k lvl 120 shades via using major newb food apple pies ftw lol

actully i remember before that people would pay like 1k for a lvl 120 corpse, and i have definitly seen a marked increase in shade hunters. it went from being practicly dead to seeing 3 other regulars there at the 120s so theres definitly been increased. I believe this would become a good way of getting preyer exp for some and couple become a buisness with all the supplys beign tradeable plus the cremator would also actully get more then random events as returns on thier investment LK1

any idea what to do with giant snail shells? they cant be sold to general store so me thinks there shoudl be something to do with them LK1

okay im normlay up for mini games and this sounded awsome but this is more [developmentally delayed]ed then the simple life.. the ghasts are level 109 the vampires are level what 110? and they can only be hurt by silver weapons? plus thier immune to entangle? thats dumb i had 5 of them on me and i jsut couldnt get the 6th one off of the old man who was lucky enough to get a bunch of 0s before getting 3 hit they need to do something to make it more worthwhile unless they just want another unused mini game like trawler LK1
