When an account is locked because if too many password recoveries, or from hackers, any idea how long the lock lasts for without an appeal? The only message i get is 'If your appeal was for a locked account, it may stay in this state until the lock review period is completed.' I have appealed the lock but i doubt it will be successfull as its already been 2 days since i sent the appeal, so any idea on how long locks usually last for?

I got swiftkit months ago from the authorised site so it wasn't that. I downloaded avira and it had 4 detections that mcafee didn't, hopefully one of those was the keylogger, now to get my rs account back and see if im hacked again, if so i shall be back.

Well i have a keylogger im sure, but mcafee is not picking it up, are there any free anti virus software out there to check against mcafee? I know i have a keylogger because lastnight i was hacked on rs, after doing a full scan with no results, i changed to a pass with random numbers and letters, but still this person knows my pass.

My new pass is surely unforcable, heck im having trouble remembering it. Luckily my pin protected most of my gear. The guy/gal also tried to reset my recov's, but just incase i've dleted that request and set myself some new ones. Also set my pin-change duration to 7 days instead of 3.

Yeash sorry, kinda caught in the moment still a bit heated (hope you can understand yourself being hacked) On the account management area (where all you need is your pass which hackers will have). The change password part, it changed instantly, i was sure that it was 3 days and you got a warning, but i can currently change it instantly, with no delay? Semms like a HUGE loophole.

HURRAH Yeah its strange, the scan completed nothing whatsoever found. I'd also not downloaded anything whatsoever for a few days, or been to any sites apart from tipit and my normal clan forums :? . Well i'm going to make a new pass and then hopefully things should be fine.

Mcafee security centre, usually notifies me even if anything is changing on the comp so im not too sure if i have a keylogger. The scans at 88% now and nothing whatsoever, not even any spyware so really confused. Surely my pass can't have just been changed on its own? Yeah my recovery was kinda rushed so i didnt enter any of my payment details, only the method i pay by, now been around and hour and a half since i sent the recovery request.

Thats what i thought, but im not sure wether it would just slow down my recovery even more doing a new one with my most recent pass. I did fill one pass in, but it was my old pass and probably a very easily guessable one.

Well i logged in as normal, then 10 minutes later i logged out watching tv (nothing unusual). When i went to log in, it says my pass is wrong. I've tried at least 20 times, all over the rs website, even told a v good friend my pass to see if it was me but it said the same for him. Im running a full pc scan right now, and i've sent a password recovery to jagex hopefully they'l lock my acc, but wondering if theres anything morei can do? p.s On the section it asks in password recovery, it asks for all previous known passwords. I forgott put my Current (what i thought was my current pass) in there, think that will hurt the recovery too much? Edit: had 42m worth of items on me aswell :wall: , was stood at the bank.

as stated abnove, SC hammers gretly improve your exp

I wear stuff because i have it and might as well use it. No point in me having bandos in bank and not using it. I also use my dfs on slayer tasks because im not an exp nut, i dont care about my exp/h, as long as i stay alive fairly easily and without hastle im fine, which dfs helps.

None yet. Ill give a clue. It has heavy RPG elements, and is a total space game, so it all takes place while piloting the ship. Was also made around 06 (i think)

Both of the above achieve good exp but not the best. Outside of the wilderness on pvp, brawlers only give 50% bonus exp. In wilderness they give 400% bonus exp. The above way would be better exp/bone but also much much slower in the long term. the best way to get the fast exp is to bury the bones in lvl 1 wilderness above edgy. Bring a teleport, anti and 5 food. Welfare armour and fill a Bob and your inv with bones and bury.
