But it is false. 1 to 1, discounting the way you get either item, torso IS beter than addy. comparing the 2 items side by side the torso is better, and will get mroe exp FACT. What you are comparing is the time it takes to get the two items, and adding that to the equation. What i'm saying is straight out, 1 on 1, torso is better. The title doesn't say "Torso is NOT better than Adamant statwise", the title simply states "Torso is NOT better than Adamant" then in the first post the OP stated HOW adamant is better than the torso. So in terms of efficiency, the torso isn't better than adamant - which is exactly what this thread is discussing. Also to the person on the first couple of pages ranting about 'perception'... :wall: In terms of efficiency if your anally retentive then yes i agree its more efficient, but in almost all other ways it isn't, so the title is false.[/hide] You're probably the kind of person who thinks that getting full lumberjack is worth it too, huh? For me personally it was worth it as i wanted it for a goal, but thats a different argument totally. Torso probably isn't worth it in efficiency for exp, but as i said, in almost all other aspects it is better, which is not what the title says. If this was an argument on wether getting certain items was worth it then that is a totaly different argument, my argument is with the misleading title, i have satated i agree that over time and exp if your being analy retentive then yes torso is noit better, but in all other aspects it is better.

The day summers end came out is a kind of surreal but great memory. A few of us in Forsakenmage cc had completed the quest and were looking for more portals, then i think it was cartiaga (sorry if it was somebody else but im bad with names) Said the spirit beast is still alive. I dont think any of us believed him at first but then a few of us went to the end of the cave and were just wowed at seeing the copr beast stood there. It really was a HOLY [cabbage] moment. A couple of us went in a few times to see how strong it was and when we saw its hits we were just speechless. About 5-10 of us kitted up not knowing what gear to bring and trid taking it down, took us a good few tries to even damage it, then when a few more people came from the cc we tried a full kill. Took us at least half an hour to get it to 1/4 hp. Eventually killed it ages after that, seemed that last 1/4 took forever, but we eventually killed it. We must have been the first or second group to kill it in all of rs (people rumoured Di had killed it on another world around the same time). It was just epic :shock:

Depends how much you use your SGS. Sounds like you use it alot, so i'd say no, earn the money outright using the SGS then spend that on the leveling.

I agree with your point. Surely the title of the thread should be changed, as torso is better than addy FACT. Shouldn't it be more like 'BA'ing when you dont find it fun is pointless'

How grind driven is it? Its a total off-putter to me when by the time i reach level 30 its taking me 2-4 hours to get each level. Also, got any screenshots?

All i know is that chick-bird takes a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. So far my chick is at 68% and has been hours. I'd expect6+ hours for each stage maybe.

Im currently using up SC needles, but might switch to emerald rings afterwards as there only 15 exp less than blue vambs each without SC needle. That or i might go get more needles.

I'm aiming for 75 crafting for slayer rings, maybe higher if i find a good way to level. Currently crafting blue hides into vambs, and thinking of moving to blue bodies at 71, but are there any other methods with exp around the same for cheaper?

I think alot of people will regret not buying rares at low prices. Personally i have a few things i regret but there both just losing vast amounts of money. One was going into bh on the first day of release with my best combat gear, and the other was being lured for a blue mask back when i was around level 70 ish.

I think we also need some mid-high level monsters too. From 60 they only go up in 5's really excluding wyverns and spiritual things. Something at the 3's and 8's would be nice like 63,68,73,78,88,93,98

Quoting myself in the other thread: I personally couldn't give three ducks about torso being less efficient, it looks nice is more fun to use and fun to get. So put that way, Torso IS better than Addy. Lets use a points system. 1 point for effiency, 1 point for looks, 1 point for fun to use, -1 point for embarrisment while wearing Toros = 2 Adamant= A big fat 0 I'm glad people in real life don't cling on to this attitude 'No don't buy that supercar, your ford fiesta is more efficient! in the time it takes you to earn the extra money you could already have driven around quicker!'

Started off bad, but the revised version with pak 2 was incredible. Don't know how i lived without it now.

Gf? People get hundreds maybe even thousands(that may be pushing it) of furies a day from pvp trick, and prices have risen... Btw, we were comparing normal pvp drops to pvp expliot, and skiller cannot even get on pvp worlds... Gf. Lol level 3's really can't go to pvp, never knew that. I won't say how much i've made from this, but it does seem a bit OTT how easy it is to make money from it. I just think jagex will impliment some ideas to fix this, but alot of ways to fix it would completely ruin the pking aspect of the worlds.

Am i the only one who is utterly confused? One to one, Torso IS better than addy chain (wtf addy chain? lol) People really are going too far in the whole 'efficiency' argument, who cares if item A is 0.9% more efficient than item B? Item B probably looks better and is probably 67.39% more fun to use?

Well back when pc was mainstream you'd see people with maxed melee and no skills, or very high melee and practically no other skills, and it was rather frowned upon, but nowdays it doesen't matter too much imo.
