OH man, fantastic match yesterday! Man U. opened pretty good, but Milan came back real good. Those two goals by Kaka were just brilliant. Between like the 20th minute and till the second goal of Man U. Milan were simply outclassing Manchester, but they came back very good. Rooney's second goal was great! I thought Ronaldo didn't play very good by the way. He does too much on his own, he wasn't very effective. It was pretty fun to see the contrast by the way, those pretty boys from Italy and those guys from the UK, haha I still laugh when I see Scoles or Rooney, looked like they both just got picked out of a pub just before the match. haha.

There was a good game as well, involving a group of people and pie...I believe Azvy was pretty good at it. Maybe you could play this traditional Swedish game in a caf̮̩̉̉ or something.

Not to mention that lame third (?_ scene or something where he needs to hack a computer while he gets a [bleep]. Ooh, so annoying that kind of stuff. Last night I was lucky to catch one of the last seats for the last showing of Das leben der anderen which was really good (although the 8.5 at IMDB is too high), loved the greyish atmosphere (which seems to be present in every German movie I see, in some it works better than others), and Ulrich MÃÆÃâÃâühe was fantastich in his role. I was less statisfied with Sebastian Koch, who kind of gave us a standard role, he seemed out of place. Also I didn't really like the misplaced humor that seemed to sneak in at some points. The ending was fantastich though! Deff. worth seeing. Don't worry about the language or that it's from Europe. It's not some kind of obscure art-film. :P It's got pretty high entertainment values, also a remake is planned. :)

Lolita - It was a year ago that I had seen Kubrick's Lolita, and I thought it was alright, at that time I didn't think it could compete with work such as A Clockwork Orange or Full Metal Jacket. Now that I'm a little older and also a little wiser. I see that I was wrong. Because Lolita is, together with Barry Lyndon and 2001: ASO, Kubrick's best work. It's so well written and there are so many subtle things in the movie. Take the scene where Humbert is in bed with Charlotte. First you see him kiss with Charlotte, while looking to a picture of Lolita on one side of the bed, and then he turns around after hearing something shocking, and then there's the gun on the other side of the bed. It really shows how Kubrick goes to extremes, there's only love or dead, and nothing in between. And how it's so double edged. The movie doesn't only ridicules the typical American, but also the 'intellectual', it's very funny to see Humbert, with all his wisdom throw his head back and open his mouth to be fed an egg by Lolita. Then there's the acting which is so great, Mason is perfect and of course Sue Lyon is very good as Lolita. Not to mention Sellers who steals the show in another double role. And something I didn't notice before, it may be a little farfetched, but in the opening scene (the confrontation between Humbert and Quilty) I noticed how every movie Kubrick made before Lolita was referenced in it. Spartacus (Quilty actually says it), the boxing gloves (killer's kiss), "Have you ever seen an execution?" (Paths of Glory) the only one I can't really place is the Killing, but that's because I've only seen it once, so I should see it again to place it. Anyway, I could be grabbing nearly any scene from the movie and give it some lines, but I'm not going to do that, so just see it for yourself. It's wroth it. :)

I think I'm missing the link between being beatiful and the ability to sing. You're not weird BTW. Sorry to dissapoint you.

I don't really see why everybody always needs to compare everything talentwise. Both genres require different kind of talents. It hasn't got anything to do with more or less. And it wouldn't make it better either. Some music lovers you are. I also don't understand why some people can't just not like some kind of music, and just leave it at that. But they have to visit every topic and take every opertuniyy to 'diss' another music genre. It's very annoying.

I missed it in cinema, so I saw it on DVD. I thought it was pretty cool, not one of the greatest movies ever though. And not even close to the Matrix.

I guess I'm the oposite of most of the members here. Not that I like mainstream rap. But I've got something against this 'maketheworldabetterplacetoliverap'. I want hard, strange, disturbing and controversial stuff. And of course the beats are of great importance. :)

And still it's nonsense. I really can't believe how stupid some here are. Coming with these ideas. Come on.
-
Ober Yuck. Here and there some nice stuff. But most of it is painfully unfunny and it just keeps going on. Hard to sit trough, but I can be proud for not pressing the stop button.

Bought: Mies vailla menneisyyttÃÆÃâÃâä (The man without a past) my first movie from Finaldn. :o and in this world yesterday.

Yea, whenever I say that I don't like rap, some kid starts [bleep] at me and gives me the lecture that the topic starter gave me. I hate the style of music of rap, in my opinion none of the have any talent. If you say none have any talent it already goes further than not liking the style of music. Can't blame the kid for shouting at you. Hey, Peace. What are you doing here? :o that's been quite a while! How are you doing?

Get it now.

And it's a bit much of the same. I mean, you're not going to make a list about the worlds greaest, and put in 20 dylan and 20 beatles songs. Just choose, keep it fun.
