  1. Have you heard the new Porcupine Tree yet? I think you'd like it!
  2. Maybe it wouldn't be a half bad idea if you talked to somebody else than your teacher....
  3. So...You actually told this to a teacher, and he didn't do anything? Hmm. Somehow I don't really believe you.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ik7oG5_qPj4
  5. This gun for hire (1942 - Frank Tuttle) Pretty cool noir. It has got lots of simalarties with LE SAMOURAÃÆÃâÃâÃ
  6. We've had one here in Holland a couple of years ago.
  7. I wonder if there are some numbers on school shootings in Europe. I wonder how many there are.
  8. Just try it, Indy. She's cool. :P Il mio viaggio in Italie (1999 - Martin Scorsese) Ooh, fantastic! I remember buying myself a Luchino Visconti DVD-box a couple of years ago. It was my first real confrontation with the Italian Neo-Realism. I was in love, and in no-time I had all the others covered. I loved it and I couldn't get enough of it. So of course I was very happy when I found this DVD. Just like A Personal Journey is a very intimate and insightfull journey trough the history of the American movie, this is one trough the history of the Italian movie, especially aimed at Neo-realism. And it was once more an honor to see all this old (and sometimes for me new) material, guided by Marty. =D> Don't let the long running time scare you off, just see this! Also if you already think you're an authority on the subject. It's got a release on Region 1 and is available from DVD-Pacific for 13 bucks.
  9. What's up with all these age related topics? :? I'm older than my brother. He's sixteen, I'm twenty. Feel better now?
  10. Dude, just add the song to the list? :? Miles Davis - So What I don't see why we aren't allowed to post rap music though? Seems to be a bit weird to make a topic about 'the worlds greatest' and just ignore an entire genre, because the creater of the topic doesn't like it.
  11. Woman of the Year (1942 - George Stevens) - Rrrrrrrrrrrrr, I'm in love with the fourties at the moment, and this movie isn't an exception. This is the first of nine pairings between Tracy and Hepburn and woah, what a chemestry between those two! Incredible. The movie is about Sam and Tess, collgues at the New York Chronicle. He's a bit of an 'ordinary' but fast mouthed Sports reporter, and she's a snobish reporter who covers world politics. The learn to 'know' eachother trough a newspaper war, but eventuelly end up liking eachother. The movie has got a great combination of comedy and especially drama, openly questioning the values of marriage. Which was a really daring thing to do in those days. And of course it wasn't all bad. Most parts were hilarious, take the scene where Hepburn is having a speech for the feminists, and Tracy comes in unexpected. And he's the only male in the audience, and he's sitting on stage as well. And of course the classic breakfast scene at the end. I nearly wet my pants with those waffles! Recommended!
  12. My logic isn't ridiculous. Less guns, less casualties. That's my logic, and I honestly don't see how you can deny that. And of course there's more to it than just say 'guns aren't alowed anymore', there's still some work in trying to prevent people from getting them. I honestly can't understand how you could say "Let's not ban guns, because criminals will get them anyway".
  13. Yeah, more pointlessness. You're really not contributing anything, as usual.
  14. Yea, lets make things better available. "Hey, criminals don't follow the law. Let's make it easier for them!". Good thinking Shady!
  15. Haha, her album is deffinitly nominated for ugliest cover of the year. Especially the 'deluxe' edition... Ouch!
  16. Of course not. Who is? But I'm not 'afraid' to go out on the streets because there might be shooting or a suicide bomber. if that's what you mean. There's a bigger chance that I'm hit by a car or something. But I'm not really thinking about "what if", just enjoying life.
  17. What a nonsense arguement. Learn to play an instrument before you criticise a musician. If you see the regular base these schoolshootings occur, it's perfectly fine to criticise the right to bear arms. This wasn't the first one, and it won't be the last one either.
  18. Yea, I guess it's the guns. I mean. How many school shootings happen, outside America? It doesn't happen that often, right. While it seems to be almost daily business there. But yea, just keep selling them guns.
  19. F*CK YEAH! Add Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet to that list. My favorite so far! Oh, and Anesthetize would be best track so far. :o And although it's a compilation, Nouvelle Vague's entry in the Late night Series that got released in february is pretty cool as well.
  20. Brian Ferry - Dylanesque Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Marillion - Somewhere Else Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet (x3) Late Night Tales: Nouvelle Vague The new Porcupine Tree, damn, it's really fantastic! Check it out!
  21. Just got back from work, and this is the first thing I heard from my parents. absolutely horrible. By the way, is the shooter still alive?
  22. sometimes, I pick my nose and eat what I get out of it. I eat my toenails as well.
  23. :( The first one was already guessed though, so? :P
  24. And since I didn't answer for 24 hours I can do another one: 5 - House of Flying Daggers
