    SCARFACE

You only hate it because so many people like it. *Raises flame shield* Uh, no, I don't. If that were it than I'd have to hate a whole lot of other movies. Scarface is just a bad movie. But anyway, this is off topic.
  2. I can't find it on any of the usual sites, or on DVD. Might have to wait a while if you can't see it in theaters. I wish I had a place around here that played these sorts of movies. It's getting it's American release in march. :P And, some more watching for you indy. Get the criterion of Le SamouraÃÆÃâÃâï! It was a while ago since I last saw it, and I kind of forgot about it. But man, was that a bad thing to do (forget about it of course). Brr, Alain Delon is so amazing as the hitman, he's so cold and scary with his blue eyes. Then there's the great interrogation scenes and of course the amazing scene in the French subways! What is needed is there and what isn't needed is left out. Perfect. Like Jef Costello. And while I thought things couldn't get better for me that night, I put on Ugetsu Monogatari (this one has got a very nice Criterion release as well, Indy :P a 2.5 hour documantary by Shindo about Mizoguchi plus a booklet with the stories that inspired Mizoguchi for this movie!) which is about two farmers who are blinded by their 'greed' and ambition. This results in their succes, but as we all know every succes has got it's downsides. Mysterious, elegant and scary. A very important movie, and perhaps one of the best I've ever seen.
  3. I buy them from a (web)-shop. And sometimes, I download an album, to see if I like it enough to buy. But I don't do that most of the time.
  4. This one smells like lemon! And the color of the bottle is cool, so I use it.

Well, it can't be worse than the movie. :)
  6. People who need a game like this to see that the Wii isn't kiddy need their heads checked. Anyway, yea, cool. I guess.
  7. On friday I went to the cinema with my parents to see La Tourneuse de pages which was pretty good, unlike what I expected. Nice and timid which made the tension come out extra well. It also fit the character of Melanie very well. The off-screen music was b-b-b-brilliant, and that's still and understatement, and it really lifted the movie from an okay drama to a great thriller. Next to that was the excellent preformance from D̮̩̉̉borah Fran̮̤̉̉ois who is very, very hot as well. The only thing I didn't really like was the ending, as it really gave a lot away, while mystery suited the movie and it's characters better. Worth watching, especially for the fans of All About Eve. Today I watched Kuroneko again. I saw it last week, but wanted to show it to my brother as well. He liked it, and I still liked it as well. When we got home from my grandma I decided to watch Gods and Monsters which I really enjoyed. I have a thing for 'biopics' (this one isn't really a biopic) especially when they are about important movie-people. For some reason they facinate me more than pop-stars or politicians. And the minimal amount of characters make things even extra interesting. Of course a must see for the Frankenstein fans and well, any other movie buff as well. :) If my mate has got time tonight I'll show him Tanin no Kao and he'll show me Pickpocket. I hope I can put in The War Zone somewhere in between.
  8. That's because you're the only one with a girlfriend on here. :)
  9. Gasoline and manure. Also, everything smells good on a cold morning, and I like the smell of muffins, the little cake that is.
  10. That doesn't mean that a fantasy world sucks you in more if it looks better... But anyway, since I have a Wii, it would be cool it it was on Wii. But I wouldn't really mind if it was for both.
  11. I'll make a new topic this sunday. :) Copy pasting this one isn't that much effort, but taking screenshots and uploading pictures is, and I haven't got much time on hands till sunday afternoon. :)
  12. He has a point, Gwen's solo album was bad, especially coming from No Doubt, you know what though, i heard No Doubt are reforming, so album sales must have been good    Hmm, I didn't think the first album was bad. I thought it was quite fresh and fruity and actually enjoyed it a lot. Her latest album though, that's nothing to write home about. Other than the single that is.
  13. Could somebody tell me the joke? IE7 is the new IE browser, and when you click the link you will get on a site with a firefox logo. Is that all? Or, am I missing something?

  16. See, there isn't. And if you don't see that, and go all serious about it. Well, then you missed the point. And I guess you're too stupid. :) DD, okay. ;)

  19. Are you serious or are you just having a go? I'm quite serious. Sure, there's no meaning behind it. But if you're just listening to it, man, it's so funny. How could somebody be annoyed by it? Unless you're taking yourself waay to serious of course.
  20. Holla Back Girl is an amazing song. I bet you're all to stupid to understand it.
  21. I had a great night yesterday starting You, me and Dupree which was really good, especially because it starred my favorite actor of all time: Owen Wilson! Man, I love that guy. After that it was time for the incredibly lame but oh so hilarious BEERFEST hahaha, Beer, Germans, Bradwursten und lederhosen! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! :D :D :D
