  2. Just ordered Shindo's Hadaka no shima (the naked Island) as well! god, I love second hand DVD shopping. :P On play this one's ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì23.50 and I got it for ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì13.50! Still sealed. :P
  3. Me neither, it's too expensive for me. Although I have to see what the 'special offer' is what I'm getting at the evening. Think it will just be a free game and an extra controller for the same price as a new PS3 or something. But I think if I'd be getting another console it would be a 360.
  4. 12th of february I'll have a playstation retailers evening for Holland, and I'll get all the info, (good) free food and drinks, and to play the PS3. *yay*
  5. 1. What is the goriest game you have ever played, why? Carmageddon II? 2. What was your first gory game, how old were you Mortal Kombat 7 or 8 years old or something? 3. What do you think when you experience gore in a video game Groovy. 4. Do you shy away from gory games? Of course not. 5. Have you ever stopped playing a game due to its gory content? Of course not. 6. In general do you find gory video games better han non gory ones? Nope. Doesn't really matter to me. It has to fit the game. Gore fits Mortal Kombat, so it's great. Gore doesn't fit Super Smash Brothers, but it's still a very awesome game, it would be less good if it had a lot of gore in it. 7. How old are you? 20.
  6. Surprised there isn't a topic yet. Anyway, I'm sure you all know what it's about and so. For those who haven't. It's the new powerful Sony console, that follows the Playstation 2. US PS3 website Wiki Europe release will be 23 March if I am correct. ;) Everything Playstation 3 related here. Hardware only of course.
  7. Gameplay, of course. Dont'really see how you can discuss that. Sure, they're both important. But graphics work for the gameplay. Not the other way around.
  8. :( I still need to wait about five/six days for it. :(
  9. It's so cool. 8-) Oh and, Tartuffe MoC 24 season 5
  10. 36 Quai des Orf̮̬̉̉vres Pretty decent police-thriller. Doesn't really do much wrong, doesn't really do much special either. The two ugliest noses of France do a good job though. I just saw they're remaking it already. Hehe.
  11. Escape from New York New York, New York Age of Innocence Dancer in the Dark Uzak Insomnia (the original, not the remake with pachino and williams) Diabolique Lifeboat Etre e Avoir (as a present for my mom because she is so nice <3) La cite des enfants perdus 36 Quai des Orf̮̬̉̉vres 28 Days Later Hong gao liang
  12. Hehe, Harcore/trance. You can't really compare them it's like blues/death metal. :P

    Children of Men

Saw it a couple of months ago. I didn't think it was too good, when I first saw it. It missed something, but later it got to me more, and I think it's pretty good. Going to see it again in a few days.
  14. You get nasty PM's? I don't think I've had a single nasty PM in the three or four (don't really know what it is) years I've been browsing tip.it. What kind of PMs?
  15. Ugetsu Monogatari Criterion is coming my way as well.
  16. Finally going to see Otto e Mezzo in cinema tonight! :D
  17. With Harcore it doesn't really work with Artists bringing out entire albums. Some notable DJ's who have done some great work for the scene. Rob Gee Dj. Buzz Fuzz Dj. Delerium Neophyte 3 Steps Ahead The Prophet Bass-D & King Matthew Omar Satana Dj Waxweazle Inferno Bros. Dj. Promo Rotterdam Terror Corps DJ Jappo & DJ Lancinhouse Those are a few DJ's from the period where hardcore was still good (In my eyes of course), it doesn't seem very interesting nowadays, but that could also be due to the change in the 'scene' (both musically and public wise). If you're really interested check out the Thunderdome CD's. Try these: Thunderdome I Thunderdome IV Thunderdome VI Thunderdome VIII Thunderdome XII Thunderdome XVII The earthquake series were great as well, and while you're at it try TUNNEL OF TERROR 1 & 2 as well. :) Oh, and get Neophyte - Neophyte Hardcore (1998)
  18. Uhm, home. Friends, alchohol, music, deck of cards. Use the cards for silly drinking games. When you're trough all the booze go to the bar and continue, without the deck of cards of course. If you can't make it to the bar, orgi at your place. :-w
  19. Pff, first reply and it already get's complicated. What are thermodynamics. :? I'm keeping it simple. God created a base, and from there on we evolved to where we are now. And I don't want to think about it more.
  20. Le temps qui reste Ozon on his best. Young cast, short and strong. Thumbs up. Zerkalo and maybe Tarkovksy on his best. The plot is less important, the movie mainly came to life on set (yea, yea, keep the jokes to yourself). By showing dreams, flashbacks, archive material and his father's poetry Tarkovksy is reflecting the thoughts of a dying man on his life. Tarkovsky messes with everything that has got to do with time; Terekhova plays Aleksei's wife and mother, Daniltsev plays the young Aleksei and his later son. It's complicating, but really well done. Other than the reflections on life, the movie has got other themes to offer: the history of Russia, and more important, man vs. nature (something you'll see in more of his movies). I guess I'll have to watch the movie a few times more because it has got so much to offer, but I kept to the base this time. And it worked out very well for me. :) A movie that everybody can see, and a movie that everybody should see.
  21. Death Cab for Cutie - Plans Bob Dylan - Blonde on blonde Mothers of Invention - We're only in it for the money Of course there are others, but otherwise this thread gets so repeative.
  22. Yea, check it out and judge for yourself, Indy. :P DjÃÆÃâÃâävulens ÃÆÃâÃâöga Pretty light and clever comedy by Bergman. Especially narration is hip. Bibi. <3
  23. No, of course not. What's up with these hypotethical (sp?) questions the past few days.
