I guess I'd rather listen to the bands/artists that I want to see live. But I guess everybody should do what they think is best.

27% contradiction. Some of them are a bit weird. You agreed that: Severe brain-damage can rob a person of all consciousness and selfhood And also that: On bodily death, a person continues to exist in a non-physical form And I read the second one wrong. You agreed that: The environment should not be damaged unnecessarily in the pursuit of human ends But disagreed that: People should not journey by car if they can walk, cycle or take a train instead I thought it was like, people should not journey by car if they can walk. They should cycle or take a train instead. So no walking at all. And well, this one. You agreed that: There exists an all-powerful, loving and good God And also that: To allow an innocent child to suffer needlessly when one could easily prevent it is morally reprehensible Found it a little bit weird as well. What does me believing in all loving God and an innocent child/or w/e human being (innocent or not) suffering have to do with each other. Surely, this God could prevent it. But that wasn't the question. It was the question weither I thought it was morally wrong or not. And yea, the last one was just stupid. You agreed that: Having made a choice, it is always possible that one might have chosen otherwise And also that: The future is fixed, how one's life unfolds is a matter of destiny But still it is weird. I mean, I have chosen both answers. But now I would have chosen otherwise. So, it was destiny that I chose it at the time, but now that I look back to it I might have chosen otherwise. Or not? Ah well, what should I care. A little bit of contradiction is healthy anyway. Am I the only one that art isn't subjective pers̮̩̉̉?:P

Stop Making Sense - The legendary concert registration by Jonathan Demme, from the usedtobefamousbutarekindofforgottennow band TALKING HEADS. It starts with the same titles used in Dr. Strangelove, and the camera slowly moves backwards, someone is walking up the stage, towards the mic. He puts down a tape player. "I've got a tape I want to play", camera moves away and we see its David Byrne in a way too large suit and Psycho Killer starts playing. After Psycho Killer the stage is slowly build up with each track extra musicians coming on to stage. And the party slowly starts. Demme steals the show directing this movie using an unconventional style of registration; especially the long and calm way of shooting. It is typical, because the opening, as well as later scenes in the film show that the video-registration is of the same level of importance as the music; the image isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t in service of the audio, nor is it the other way around. Both art-forms are equal. This is, unfortunately, still rarely used in concert registrations (you can see it again in Demme̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s registration of Neil Young̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Heart of Gold, which got released on DVD last month! A recommendation as well). And Byrne is just amazing. With all his energy, running around the stage, doing his really weird dances. And that's where the power lies; It's the combination of Demme's calm directing (camera operated by Jorden Cronenweth) and Byrne's energetic stage performance (at least, that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s how it is for me). It's a combination of two opposites that you see more often in the registration. For example the really great combination of these dark songs brought with so much humour. All in all this is a concert movie that every music lover should own, and is up there with legendary live recordings such as The Last Waltz, Rust Never Sleeps and Made in Japan.

Another goood one. "Damn that television ... what a bad picture!" "Don't get upset, it's not a major disaster." "There's nothing on tonight," he said, "I don't know what's the matter!" "Nothing's ever on", she said, "so ... I don't know why you bother." We've heard this little scene, we've heard it many times. People fighting over little things, and wasting precious time. They might be better off ... I think ... the way it seems to me. Making up their own shows, which might be better than T.V.

I guess, Octopu$$y (censor >.>), followed by Casino Royale, Goldeneye and the Man with the Golden Gun. I guess it's a bit of a youth sentiment, because Octopu$$y has got so much stupid things in it. But the opening with the Clown does it, I really love the opening. :P

I got nothing. Well, an MP3 player from work. But I was screwed over with that. People with a full-time/part-time contract got an 1gb mp3 player, that can play videos etc. And the people with a 0-hour contract got a 512mb player, which looks just like a USB stick. And I worked more than full-time the past year, but I got a 0-hour contract. >.> Ah well, guess I should be happy with what I got. :)

Huh, Rick. You've got a wii? Thanks Make7up! It wasn't that hard after all. Stupid that I didn't think of it myself. :) We're in the water temple now! :D
