  1. Of course there have been times when I've seen a video, or a picture of a guy luring a Party Hat and thought to myself, wow, a party hat, "I wonder if I were to..." Or, I thought, "I wonder if these scams actually work..", and there have been times when I thought how cool would it be to guess the password of a really rich player. Now, I would never do any of these things, but the thought crosses your mind, it's nothing you can control. It's how you act on these thoughts that makes the difference. If a friend were to let me borrow an expensive item, there's no doubt I would give it back, and I would never scam someone, but the thought runs threw your mind "Wow, that's a lot of money, imagine what you could do with this..." And, yes, I've lied to people, it's not right, I'm not straight-up enough to tell someone I don't want them on my friends list, instead I might take the cowards way out and tell them that's it's full for example, rather than risk hurting their feelings by being blunt.
  2. Everything except the two goblin ones.
  3. I agree. I also think it was quite wrong of someone to post that mans contact information on the web like that. It's also agains the law (I think).
  4. Mage Training Arena, Enchantment chamber.
  5. lol, they actually have some school(s) like that somewhere, where people are not allowed to have physical contact whatsoever. Yeh my schools where the same way-sorta. My middle school now banned hugs the year after I gruaduated. Bet they're pissed, since its like a common greeting around here' I had that rule all through grade school. I actually got suspended once in Grade 8 for hugging... That's just plain ridiculous. I honestly don't know what to say about that...
  6. swearing an yelling.... police do that, so can the citizen running from the police... yeah, don't expect him NOT to force u to the ground... but as soon as u place ur hands on someones neck that can be considered a threat to life. just like if you were to take your gun out... you can kill with a gun, and that guy weighing 200+ lbs, could have crushed that kids neck with ease. I highly doubt his intent was to kill the kid or he was putting sufficient pressure on his next to do any serious damage, and like i said before he only had his hands there a few seconds. The point is the same thing could have been achieved with a grab of the arm, shoulder etc, the neck was excessive.
  7. No, cause that would be "resisting arrest" right?
  8. Looks to me like the kid is trying to pry the officers hand off of his neck.
  9. They're kids. A grab of the arm would have been sufficient, they weren't armed. There was no need to "grab their neck".

  11. That is seriously so how I imagined you... :ohnoes: (I give everyone on this forum a face when I post, it's just something weird I do) You imagined me as a cartoon? It was a double post that was locked. :)
  12. He was arresting them for breaking a (im assuming) local law, which would be why fleeing the police would be illegal Don't assume anything. Skateboarding is not illegal in the state of Arkansas. Here's an un-edited version of the video because the Police claimed that the video had been edited to make the Officers look bad.
  13. Just like people in this thread judge the cop without knowing what provoked him to get so angry. Whenever people see a cop getting rough with people they shout bloody murder. If you're going to break the law then don't expect to be treated nicely, especially if you are going to try and run. And i don't think its right to list his name either, he's just doing his job. As for the girl, he clearly said you are in violation of city rules and are under arrest too. Then she turn and tried to make a break for it, and judging by how her friend ran, i think she was dealt with fairly. If you're going to try to run expect to be roughed up, just stand there and let him put the cuffs on instead of being a moron And you can hear the kids yelling WHAT THE F*** DUDE!! They were being arrested for skateboarding. Skateboarding does not warrant an arrest. It warrants a ticket, but could have easily been let off with a warning. We don't shout bloody murder when a cop gets rough, we shout bloody murder when a cop uses excessive force, which is exactly what this was. Yes, they can list his name. I'm sure you'd have no problem if they listed his name for his honorable police work, just because it's listed in a bad light doesn't mean it's wrong, don't be biased. The girl was not dealt with fairly, she was afraid and wasn't going to run, she was walking. If she was trying to leave the scene, she would have ran, not walked. And then the cop flips out and throws her into a headlock. She's a 110 pound girl, he's a 250 pound man, she was causing no threat to anyone, the headlock was unarguably excessive. Then the kid, upset at what is happening walks over and tries to reason with the cop, and gets put into a headlock(do I need to state how this was excessive too?) and gets thrown to the ground.
  14. I'm sorry, mind pointing out where they were being mouthy?
  15. First off, they should not have ever even been arrested. A ticket, MAYBE. A warning would have been sufficient. The kid shouldn't have ran, no. But in all honesty, I'd be a little scared too. That officer was, what, 3 times his weight? It's quite sad that police officers get a bad rep because of jerks like this guy. Yes, they did resist arrest when he ran, and that would warrant an arrest, but NOT a headlock. Then he puts the teenage girl into a headlock. It's truly sad. Edit: Str0wez, there is sound, it's quiet so you may have to turn your speakers up.
  16. Expanding on what Phil said, this is a possibility already being discussed, we were thinking along the lines of, as Phil said, one forum being for serious discussion, the other for Birthday threads etc. One of our main concerns, actually was the fact that we didn't know if the Off-Topic community would completely hate the idea, or love it, so I'm glad to see this suggestion.
  17. Pitiful, really. This persons grandmother is dying and all your concern is the amount of "my loved one is dying" threads. Try to have a little bit of decency and express some condolence. I'm really sorry to hear that. Make sure to spend lots of time with her and let her know how much she means to you.
  18. Good luck on your goal!! All the work will be worth it when you have that nice set of armour. :D
