i wouldn't reccomend with less than 60 defence (althjough people have done with 1) also, you need a decent range or mage level (60+ in the one you choose)

1. farming is great for herblore, and is used in several quests 2. Rune (and all oter )defenders are from the warrior's guild mith gloves (and all other metal gloves) are obtained by doing recipe for disaster, and by saving 5 people or more from the quest 3. You need to comlete death plateau, after which you can buy for 19gp. they give a +2 strength bonus, the same as rune boots
