  1. Well since from the high alch calc, maple shorts alch for 240gp each, then you can expect that willow longs and shorts will be less than that.
  2. My best - 142 trolls. Second troll into it I got dragon half shield My worst - anytime i got dogs
  3. Search doesn't seem to be working for some reason, but here's the link Kwimbob is referring too. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=373132
  4. Actually you don't need to beat the last one. Beat the first three and the fourth one can "kill" you and you still win the challenge for fighting to the death.
  5. You can turn music off, either in the tools menu in game, or by muting the midi/synth volume on your systems sound controls. Personally, I've been running better in low detail WITH sounds/music since the update. Less lost connections and running back and forth. Unless you are connecting directly too Jagex to play the game, then lag might be from another source between you and them. But of course it's easier to bash Jagex than accept that their might be a router in between that's having problems.
  6. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=458750 More information and discussion about the lockings
  7. Plus, the month isn't over yet. There's going to be typo's every now and then, and they have said that the chat filter still needs tweaking. To 123Yourgone, you're right. I think that if a perfect update came out, no problems whatsoever, people would complain that they have nothing to complain about.
  8. Was this the thread you meant? http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=361460
  9. Actually Pokemama, they took out that nice bit of xp. You can also prune willows after they are full grown, but no extra xp, and you still get branches to weave.
  10. Actually for all your answers, I'm going to advise paying the farmer to watch all your trees. That's too much xp to take a chance of losing. 1. Using compost(better yet super compost) is worth it for a little extra xp, or if you're watching them yourself then super compost is a must IMO. 2. The turns are longer for trees as they have a longer time to grow (check the tip it guide or the RS knowledge base for an average amount of time for full grown trees). 3. If you're watching them yourself, then you should check at every turn. I don't know the amount of time for each trees turn, but someone else might if you decide to watch them.
  11. A garden pie will raise your farming 3 levels temporarily. Make a pie shell from dough, use a tomato, onion and cabbage with it and cook. The bonus doesn't stack, so eating more than one pie( you get 2 bites per pie) won't raise it higher than 3 extra levels.
  12. I know you don't get xp from poison. And I believe you don't get it from recoil rings either, since I read somewhere that pures use them in quests in order to complete without sacrificing the pure aspect.
  13. I don't understand how a small part of the overall game(ie chat filter) is such a huge problem to people. If you type something legal and it gets censored, use another word or reprase your sentence. If you're saying something illegal, does it really need to be said? I saw someone complaining about not being able to say "dam" anymore. They asked how they can express their frustration in game now. If you can't express yourself without swearing, then you need to work on your vocabulary skills.
  14. I don't know maybe it should be a pot for fletching also....I've never been better with using a knife after drinking beer..... But they probably will add something later on, for most skills. Although for the most part, I find them not very useful. The temp boost to get into the mining guild, useful. a temp boost on slayer each time I attack a monster one level higher than my level, seems kinda pointless.
  15. As far as I've read, here and on the main site, the protectors only protect. They have no other purpose but that. As for leaving it in longer, that also doesn't increase yield as far as I know.
  16. Kwimbob is talking about going to the quests section of the knowledge base. It has a section with rewards from all quests. You can then check which skills you want and which quests give you those as rewards. http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... cat_id=806
  17. Well it does say that it will have members quests when they get a chance to write all the hints for them. And until then you do have tip.it's guides for members quests. And on the other matter about Jagex trying to "get rid" of fansites. Fansites shouldn't really be the place that someone goes for more information on a game than the game's official site. Fansites, in general, should be more of a compliment to the official site, than the official site complimenting the fansites. This is just their way of trying to become more involved with their own game. More than just basically a link to the game. The game has grown so fast that they haven't been able to keep up with all aspects, which is why fansites popped up and grew faster than the official site. Now that they are turning their attention that way, people assume it's only because Jagex doesn't want fansites around. But shouldn't the offical site reflect more about the game than the fansites?
  18. Personally, I'm interested in the changes to the rewards for Miscellania. I'm sure it won't be anything better than what you could do on your own. But with the addition of seeds and nests as a resource, sounds hopeful to me.
  19. I think you're thinking of the lamps from different quests. I used Tears to raise my runecrafting the whole time it was below 30. I don't think I actually gained a level rcing until I was around 42 RC.
  20. Or for P2P, if you've done enough of Recipe for Disaster to have the bank chest in lumby, the spinning wheel there is about the same distance as seers. Plus it's a one click bank.
  21. Very nice article. I liked your ideas, and thought similar along the lines of Dutty4u, with the bank pin everytime you go to the bank. But quiclkly thought against it while I was fletching logs. But your idea with the pin when you mine is very interesting. Another "solution" I might add after thinking about yours, was from the one about having monsters flooding the ess mines. Keeping the low level macroers (and unfortunately all other legal low levels) out, but if the solution itself is going to keep all low levels away, then why not just raise the level to mine ess. Something like lvl 25 or 30, since they seem to think level 30 will deter macroers. Granted that would still destroy low levels from making easy money legitimately, it would still be possible to go back to only one kind of ess. Like I said in another thread about this, mining is the only skill that can be used almost immediately after tutorial island to make good, if not great, money. As such, there is no reason for autoers to consider anything else in the beginning.
  22. Also if you brew ales, you can use them to buy ale yeast in the basement of the Inn in Port Phasmytas.
  23. Yea, it is another buyer beware post, but they do help. Some people may not pay attention, but I know that I read some about people changing magic logs for willows. The other day I was selling my d sq, someone afford a good amount of money along with over 1k magic logs. They declined first time and traded again, but this timethe logs were "magically" willow logs instead. Now maybe, I would have made sure to check the second screen, but in the back of my mind, that post popped up and I made sure to check both screen. Sorry to hear about your loss, I'm sure you'll get the money back in no time....and maybe you'll meet up with that scammer sometime in the wildy for a little "talk" about things.
  24. You can make super compost on your own. Use 15 of higher farming items. Easy ones that you don't have to actually farm to collect are pineapples (which can be picked on brimhaven, near the metal dragons dungeon entrance) and jangerberries, which are found on the ogre island west of yanille. Make sure that you only use super compost items, if you put any regular compost item in it, it will make only compost - not super. For more items which can work, check out the farming guide here on tip.it and also the knowledge base at RuneScape.
  25. Aargh, I hope this isn't going to be like the end of march/april fool's joke like the Dragon Plates were last year. I'm looking forward to more Mahoganey and Teak trees. :?
