  1. Some of the barrows armors have skirts, and I don't see any male characters shying away from them. And I'll guarantee you, that they are the same ones that will buy a barrows set in a heartbeat, skirt or no skirt. For the record, I wore a d skirt also for the longest time because it made more sense to spend half the money for the same bonus. And I got the same reactions you got. But that's the problem with playing with some people. Unfortunately, maturity isn't a requirement for playing on the computer.
  2. I'm moving, I've seen those movies and it doesn't end well for the people living in haunted houses! :anxious:
  3. Really, that actually sounds like a good thing to try. :-k I should probably stop reading this thread or else, I'm going to end up with even more quirks.....
  4. All you should need is a few extra food. If you use prayer on verac, continue using it. He hits less often and for less damage than if you don't use prayer. So all you should need is a few extra food (and if you usually have food leftover, then it shouldn't make much difference)
  5. Gratz on the double ahrims drop, the first time I ever got a barrows item it was a double: Guthan plate and Ahrim top.
  6. When I'm at barrows, I ALWAYS have to get a 12 kill count, can't be more or less. I'll go through the tunnel till I find my door and then calculate my count so that when I'm in the chest room, I'll end up with 12. Don't know why I chose 12 as the number but if something happens and I don't get it, it bothers me for a good bit. :anxious: When doing clue scrolls, each time I click on a casket or talk to someone when it's about to be done, I look away from the screen. Like not looking is going to make the reward better. I used to play on only one world. If it wasn't my "best choice for member server" on the world select screen, I'd refresh or come back until it was. I'm sure I have other strange quirks but that's what comes to mind right now.
  7. Are you kidding, I loved that, I examined the certificate a few times during the quest just to get a chuckle out of it .
  8. I believe it's world 104.
  9. Currently woodcutting is my favorite. It was farming but since I would chop trees while farming it raised faster and became my new favorite.
  10. This is why I like reading your posts. Almost makes me feel like I was there, and I get just as excited when you get your drop. Congrats on the Mud Staff. \
  11. This was taken from the post: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=475407 According to that you can use any type of burners for the extra bonus, you don't need to use marble ones.
  12. Looks good, I'll have to bookmark it to read in detail. Hoping to try fight caves pretty soon. (if I can make myself train range and raise it up)
  13. This happened in 30 secounds i was using rsn: "I Try 1" and some1 talked to me: some1: tye, are you there! some1: tye some1: tye some1: tye I Try 1: who are you talking to, some1? some1:erm sorry... not my problem now! I Try 1: ? "some1" is not the real RSN. After 15 min i knew what "not my problem now" mean. That dude today must be sleeping and dreaming of his big achivement of reporting 1000 people macroing, just because they were low levels. And Jagex will make him a RS moderator so other player start to bow at his feet. I wish he get a ban for abuse reporting. Or at least forbiden to report for a while. Well, if he couldn't type your name 4 times in a row correctly, then I'd be surprised if he typed it out in the abuse window correctly
  14. Nice guide. Another "perk" to having it in Taverly, is that it's the closest to a Keldagrim access point. From the cart in the tunnel under White Wolf mountain.
  15. They last for around 6 minutes per dose. You'll hear a sound also when it stops working.
  16. Plus since it takes half the coal to make bars, it's a lot more cost effective even if your'e doing it yourself.
  17. This might be the one your looking for: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351 ... ows++setup
  18. Recipe for Disaster for Lumby bankchest and the armor colored gloves.
  19. Nope, but all you have to do is start legends, not complete it for access to the jungle
  20. I had read all these threads about fly fishing, but never gave it any thought. Last week, I decided to get to 76 fishing (from 71 at the time). I started out doing lobsters, then figured I'd try out fly fishing in Shilo. It takes about 2-3 minutes to get a full load fly fishing, and even if the majority of them are trouts, as opposed to salmon, you still get around 2k xp per load. Run to the bank and go back to fishing in less time than you would get one load of lobsters. Took me about 3 days to get to 76
  21. Takes about 24 hours to finish brewing.
  22. I named mine Alpo
  23. Awesome guide, last night I notcied having to run around the spot in the NE corner room luring Dharok to the rock pile. But I didn't put it together that I could use that as a safespot. Cool, no more fighting my way to the NE room or an outside corridor for Dharok or Verac. Thanks again. EDIT: And to Satenza, I always use the corridor/NE room trick for Verac and Dharok. Going back and forth until I get them (sometimes it takes awhile), so I think it's just a random chance at any door not a particular one. If I'm understanding your question correctly.
  24. That's what I thought. I guess, I'll go high detail for barrows then, I'm tired of pretty much wasting a dose of prayer on that.
  25. Yep, it may have been months ago, but there is no statute of limitations on when they have to catch you and punish you.
