you refine the coal into coke and add it into a furnace with the iron ore. The coke degrades and produces carbon which reduces the iron ore by being more reactive, and then you can run the iron and slag off at the bottom. once you have the molten iron you add however much carbon you want (files are made of hi carbon steel - 0.5% carbon) and that defines the grade of steel

the problem of inflation is not nearly as rapacious as people point out, due to the influx of new players, the money that is "locked" in assets that will fall in value - here the money dissapears - and the money locked in older accounts who horde it often. the inflation problem is not exponential, and the best way to cure it is to advertise rs2, and bring in more and more players, which may even mean the value of the gp rises

desert treasure is not too hard, and it is not boring. However the pyramid is incredibly annoying. i think mornings end part 2 is the most annoying. Bloody tedious, takes forever, cost you in food and pots. seriously the most annoying and broing quest ever made

Sorry, but i have to dissagree. The image we got from the dark ages is wrong in many ways. We think it was very barbaric and stuff like that, but thats just because the people from the Renaissance represented the time before them as barbaric just so their intellect would be more stressed. Also, the dark ages is a period of 1000 years. And many of the qualities only apply for a part of that period. Btw: did you know the persecutions of witches only started after the dark ages? From 1700 to be precise (if I remember it right). At least, thats whay i recently learned. And yes, i was also quite astonished. i agree with you mostly, however witch hunting is recorded in the 12th and 13th centuary right up until the early 19th centuary - the inquisition were set up in spain in 1560 something (i realy should no that, i'm doing a spanish history a lvl) and they burnt a lot of witches, but mostly with sexual crimes (and for some reason horse theft...)

morals didnt sudenly appear one day, some guy didnt jump out of a bath and run around naked going "i've found morality!" morals changed. 200 years ago slave keeping was fine and totaly moral. We must remeber morals are not intrinisic in thier goodness, they are rules that we as a society lay out for our selves, and by following these rules we may get along better. In the dark ages they did not kill people for no reason, there was usualy some slight reason, and if you were a king at that time (take Cnut) then people realy believed that you had God's ordinance, and that you were only answerable to god - see the anointment of saul in the old testament (soem where in samule). definitley llyeta for the flax (thats the elf village that u get acces to in Mournings end part 1). It is realy close to the bank (like 15 squares maximum). Then teleport to cammy and spin them all there thats the quickest way i think

unless you are skulled, there may be some instances when you would open it in wildy. For instance if i was wearing monk robes and carrying a dds and some food, if i got pked i would lose the casket. How ever, if i opened it in the wildy, i would retain the 3 most valuble things in it if i died, so the sara pl8, rune pl8 and rune (t) pl8 and lose the less valuble things, like dds and monk robes. This way the pker wouldn't get the good stuff. I'm not saying it's a fake, but just that this statment isn't always correct

Well, I have never had much money (the most i ever achieved was 6M), and i got that through luck and chance. I am the most appaling Merchant or Skill earner - I always seem to end up losing money when i merchant (besides which i feel that it is moraly wrong sometimes). So never been particularly rich, even though I spend all my time trying to make money. Then, a few weeks ago, i had finished training slayer for the time, and I sold my full Torag. But i was not carefull enough. I usualy spend a long time checking the trade window to make sure i'm not being scammed. But I let this slip just then, and was scammed. Instantly losing 3.8 m(i got full blue mystic and 43k for it). This devastated me. I then tried to earn my money back by raising my fletching lvl and felthcing for cash. I'm now 87 fletching (i was 70), and have made back nearly 1.9M of the cash i lost. However, to be fair, I lost the cash through my own stupidity, and am to blame. I can see why I may not get this, as people will undoubtedly say what a fool I am. If you feel this is the case, then perhaps you should give the cash to someone else. But, i still plea that you only give me 3.8M, to make up for what i lost, and give the rest to others who have been scammed or fooled. Oh, and my name is Mo Gui Gui (on RS)
