Thats why I think it got banned. Parents wouldn't use reasonable force. A sharp slap on the buttocks is enough. Using a branch to whip a child is what I class as beating them.

Oops forgot to add - Spanking doesn't need to be done many times, I believe that once is enough and just the threat of it should stop a child from misbehaving. You shouldn't beat a child everytime it plays up. That would be unfair, ineffective and cruel.

Should spanking be allowed? I think so. Nowadays parents seem to have no real sanctions available to them. Sure they can ground you, but will it make an impression on you? Probally not. The best way to learn a lesson is to have it attatched to pain. I learnt not to ride my bike to fast because I fell off and hurt myself. I learnt not to play with wasps because they sting. I learnt not to hit my sister because I got spanked. Before I continue I would like to point out the difference between spanking (which I am ok with) and beatings (which I am not ok with). In a spanking the child is humiliated and given a small ammount of physical pain delivered with an open hand. In a beating often a weapon is used (belt, ruler, shoe ect) or the child may be punched or kicked. The difference is that one mearly inflicts pain and the other actually damages the childs body. Beating are cruel and unnessecary. I also believe that they are the cause for the current no spanking law as people were taking their sanctions to far. So they stopped any hurting of the child at all, even if it was on a reasonable level. Another spanking issue is that of school masters and canes. This I kind of agree with if it was done only to very young children and done with an open hand opposed to a cane. I say this because my mum is a teacher and some of the things that the little brats do need to be punished properly. Because the were never spanked, they never learnt any respect. So you can't punish them as all they do is laugh. They don't associate bad behaviour with pain, only the laughter of their class mates. I know that most kids are badly behaved at the age of 6 and 7 but the teachers I asked, including my mum, all said that things got worse when spanking was abolished. So I say bring back spanking in schools (KS1 only I think) and for parents. That should bring some respect back into society.

It's Kamil this time and he's giving me more trouble than Dessouse and Damis put together. I'd like advice on the best way to kill him as I keep having to walk back up the mountain after each failed attempt (with no trollheilm teleport I might add). So thing like what to wear, which prayer to use and wether or not to melee would be helpful. Thank you for your time.

Depends for me a lot on how extreme the temperatures were. Huge Explosion / Dropped into liquid nitrogen - I'd like to go out with a bang. Tied to a red hot stick of metal / Laid on ice - This one is difficult, both would hurt considerably. I think I would prefere to lie on ice as the metal rod would be less dignified. Die in the desert / Die in an ice desert - I think I would prefere to die on ice again as it seems to be the more peaceful option.

I am Christian, I believe in God and the Afterlife but I do not believe the Bible stories. I take them as metaphors on how your life should be lived not as facts. The only story I do not doubt is the tale of Jesus and the resurrecton. I don't know why but to me it rings true. Science can throw anything they want at the story, I will still believe.

I'm up to the blood diamond part and the guides I looked in for help are a bit un-specific about which prayers to use when meleeing the boss. I already screwed up two trips so any advice would be appreciated.

So you would like to be identified as an American nerd? Yes I have and still do, for example if I was in France and a man with a baguette was walking towards me, I would say "bonjour" as opposed to "good day" as in the circumstances he is more likely to understand the latter. What I don't stereotype people on is things that people may consider offensive. Using the French person as an example I wouldn't dream of thinking that he smelt before before getting close enough to tell. I agree about stereotypes helping you interact too but not about being able to judge character. For example if I got into a conversation with a "mosher" at my school I would what bands they listen to. However I would not avoid them as they may be moody. I think people mistook me for saying that stereotyping is wrong. I don't think it is. However I think that judging someone based soley on the stereotype and abusing them/ ignoring them/ disliking them because of what you see is. I also agree about there being useful stereotypes. Eg I wouldn't approach a man with a knife out or as you said, use the 'n' word to a black person as it may offend them.

I'm doing DT and I cannot seem to find any guide that tells you how to get a pair of [bleep]ed boots. If anyone is willing to sell me a pair, for the extortionate price (on my behalf) of 10k or if anyone would freely tell me how to get them I would much appreciate it. I've only ever seen one band live. This is embarrassing but it was Busted.... I saw them at Party in the Park two years ago. It's about 500 yards from my house and we get free tickets so I went with my sister. They were awful.

And do you punch your friend or the "orange" guy? These types of questions arise when you don't use grammar. Please explain in a bit better english.
