  1. I don't think so ... I really remember setting them on my pker later than i did on my main .... Unless the pker in reffering to was "Pure Neville" and my main was Elucin8er. It was a very long time ago lol. All i remember is Elucin8er was my pker at one point, but by Feb he probably was set in as my main and I just set recoveries the earliest possible date - 28th feb.
  2. I like this post, and I like your suggestion. If it were to be instanced worlds, that would be amazing. And it does fit into your premises.
  3. Wow, besides Meilie and a few others I thought i'd be the oldest bt far, but some guy April 2001 :o I was August 2001. ^ Elucin8er was my pker, didn't bother setting recoveries. Then I lost my main and remember setting recovs in feb, determined to bounce back all those years ago lol
  4. The fail change to pvp, trade limits and pest control.
  5. Oh... My.... God.... (You should have picked the easter eggs up by the way. :P) Lol, yeah I shoulda. Although back then I think you got teleported from Elvargs room, and there was no time to run out of combat and pick em up without spamming my food. Elvarg used to hurt. Bump for the new year. I saw several people mention this topic, some trying to direct people to it. Hopefully now it'll be more easier to find for a few days.
  6. Lol funny how this deserves to be in the book, although I guess a lot of useless junk is. Not something to be proud about at all I imagine
  7. All this talk claiming it's false. If there's explanations, then surely there must be at least one person in the world that can do it. Is it that hard to believe that this could be that person? Vinesweeper Soul Wars Heavy month of training
  8. Hand in soul wars tokens ... many of them. That's how  As for the others, within a month it's quite possible to get those skills up as they're buyable. The non buy-able ones were the only suprise, but after donating 0 hours to combat + slayer stats, it's quite do-able. The secret is soul wars :P
  9. All my hours on Runecrafting, it would be SO good. Not only would I get a ton of xp, but I'd get all the runes crafted for a hefty profit
  10. Aww so many farming haters. If you do it properly it really is enjoyable
  11. Hehe thanks guys. I took your advice anthony, it was worth it. Sara you beat me from the last 32k
  12. 22 / 12 / 09 Wewt, another goal completed. Guess I better get back to my last remaining goals, won't be long now
  13. So yeah, while training slayer I run into my idential twin. So weird ...
  14. 20 / 12 /09 Wow, did it. Thanks new quest, you got me there. Another 80 down, smashing them out now XD
  15. Thanks Sonic, working on it hehe No luck at TD's as yet, so back to some slayer where I just got this : 14 / 12 / 09 Might work towards my 90 slayer goal for now, then resume TD's afterwards
  16. Somewhat of an interest. I know it affects me and it's my responsibility to see how various items are doing. Even though I sell low and buy high ( for speed ) I still take an interest in all of it
  17. [hide=quotes] So little of what you said even makes sense about World of Warcraft, and I'd hate for anyone to make the mistake of reading any of your posts and thinking they are true so: *WoW is not "horribly imbalanced" in favor of Paladins. Right now, the most powerful PvP class is Warrior (arguably overpowered) and Paladins are really quite balanced. However they will always be popular for PvP because they (along with druids) are a class designed around versatility. People think Pallys are over powered because they always do well. Well, by nature of their class, they SHOULD always do "well". However, they are never at the very top. *You regret making a rogue because they "are useless in instances". I cant even do anything but LAUGH at this statement. Rogues are number 2 or 3 right now in top DPS classes (DPS=damage per second). Their damage is only competitive with Mages and Hunters right now, and they are far ahead of Warlocks. All the other "hybrid" classes are far behind those 4 (because they are not pure DPS classes) *You are complaining about Battlegrounds, as a ROGUE. This is the absolute most ridiculous thing ever. Rogues, due to the nature of the class, are ALWAYS going to be GREAT at PvP. They have the largest variety of stuns, crowd controls, interrupts, and movement slows available in the game. (except for maybe a warrior). But, on top of that, they put forth incredible ammounts of damage in short periods of time, AND they can stealth. I see the problem though. You picked a Rogue. Rogues are very hard to learn. And, judging from your writing, you are a complete imbecile, so this is probably why your experience playing a rogue sucked. Not to mention the fact that you did not play the game long enough to be able to learn the intricate mechanics of how to be good with your class. Perhaps you should try the game again as a Death Knight. You can literally smash buttons on your keyboard and perform well with that class. Oh and the part about "taking out twinks" is simply a lie. It isnt true at all, and I have no idea where you would get such a crazy stupid idea. I bet you probably just heard it somewhere and spit it out here without even verifying that it was true. Rogues are very hard to learn? You should have draped that statement with considerably more sarcasm to make yourself clearer. Well maybe I should rephrase it to "Rogues are hard to learn how to play WELL". Nothing in itself is "hard to learn" I suppose because whatever class you are, you can just walk right up to it and mash buttons and evertually it will probably die. But really, to do well with a rogue, takes time, intelligence, skill, and determination. They are a finesse class, especially when it comes to PvP. If you just randomly bust out of stealth and start Sinister Striking your oponent, your flimsy Leather-wearing butt is going to get exploded by any Pally, Warrior, DK, or even a fellow Rogue. If you don't learn the finesse of using your character, youll get constantly dominated, and then nerdrage about "OMG GAME IS IMBALANCED" just like trembake. Rogues take a lot of damage, and in order to survive they have to rely on very long cooldowns to not get chopped down in 3 globals. They aren't like a DK where their armor will mitigate a ton of physical damage and then they can self heal. Rogues have no self healing, they are restricted to the second lowest level of armor, they are only effective with melee combat (meaning that they have to be close to the powerhouse plate wearers to kill them, they cant just kite a Pally all day like a Mage can) and rogue PvP revolves around careful timing of a wide range of effects like stuns, disarms, and interrupts. Not sure how you can consider this "easy" to learn. To be perfectly honest, I haven't touched the game in the newest expansion so the talent sets and such may have changed drastically with the most recent level cap, but I doubt it. Also, my rogues were all alts, so I'm not necessarily claiming that I'm the most experience rogue expert of all time. But honestly gearing was the most difficult aspect of playing a rogue, and there was no difficulty to it. SnD and garrote rotations weren't exactly rocket surgery. I stopped playing pretty early into sunwell, however I wasn't at all referring to pvp, considering it's more or less irrelevant.... Okay, I guess I will chime in on my own thread here... lol. Many look what a discussion this has turned into... lol. I did try a rogue as my first real main. I abandoned it at level 40 or so. It is a really slow leveling process. It uses lots of stealtjh, but has incredible DPS capabilities. I do understand how someone could complain about this class, mainly because it is a very detailed class. [/hide] If it's a detailed class currently, then it's the exact opposite of when I played. Prior to the DW Fury warrior update, which was between tier 2 and 2.5, rogues could practically get their *full* potential DPS using three buttons. With add-ons, timing wasn't all that intricate. I admit it is possible that the end game strategy is different, I still wholeheartedly doubt that it's changed that much. Lol teir 2? Mages even had a 1 button frostbolt spam at teir 4, 3 buttons back then was a lot. Nowdays it's much higher, as is everyones. And everyone finally has a proper rotation, not just hunters. I'm not sure what it is now as I haven't played a rogue, but it'll be a lot higher. My frostfire mage used about 7 in rotation, a long way from the 1 in the previous expansion.
  18. U r teh epic Saru <3: 10 / 10, much love and I hope to get my 80 all stats one day, just like you <3: See ya in game =D>
  19. This is a good post, and this is what most defenders of both games have been trying to put forth. All we need now is the people who diss the game to read xxshadys post and take it in. Rs is a game of constant leveling, WoW is a game of reflexes, skill and commitment ( agreed rs pking requires skill, in4flame ). Apologies to those who've posted about WoW, but most of you have only played for 3 months, giving yourself little to no raiding experience ( 1 poster claims he only hit level 20 ) so yes, I will say you have no place to discuss the game. My opinion is valid regardless of how arrogant your are. I don't like the arena and I don't like raiding. Not everybody does and WOW isn't my game anymore. Blizzard doesn't give a rat's [wagon] about BGs. (the part I liked) They took out twinks which is like banning pures in RS. (so much for something to do after getting 1 toon to 80) Then they made a moronic griefing system for the 15 yr olds at BGs to vote you out because a few [developmentally delayed]s afk for second rate gear. (cant get 1st rate gear cause that would offend the raiders, booohooo) So much for lone wolf rogue behind enemy lines flag stealing and assassination. (my favorite thing to do) Its obvious they don't need those things, so If somebody wants to try WOW and they find they don't like raiding then don't pony up for another month cause frankly thats all there is to the game. Thats a very vaild opinion and good advice, regardless of what you think. So basically you liked the stuff that didn't require much skill, gratz. Twinks exist, u can choose not to get xp in bgs. Jagex doesn't give a rat's [wagon] about PVP either .... Offend raiders, naturally - you can't expect to get good gear from doing nothing that requires skill. I bet you got laughed at a lot because of your welfare gear. Your entire point revolves around PVP, and if you don't like PVE, then naturally don't play it, simple. Regardless of all your points, the pvp system in WoW has far less problems than the pvp system in RS, and arena is actually featured in the WCG. Bgs is not, it's impossible to balance, and whingers like yourself will have to learn to live with that. If you want balance, play Starcraft, or start a gaming company yourself and attempt to balance it - it's hard. Even the 3 combat system in RS is unbalanced, and you'd think it shouldn't be hard to fix it, yet it is.

  21. Is this a joke post? Don't wanna flame it unless you're actually serious lol
  22. They'll forever rise. I never really found them at a stable price, the only time I remember them stable was just after rs2 release and that didn't last too long. Even if they do have a minor crash the merchants will buy them all up and sit on them, enevitably rising to a new price high.
  23. D-D-Double post. Probably gonna start some TD's now that I've finished WGS. See what all the hype is about.
