I was a zerg in phase 1, didn't fell that good, went to random, tried to play random in phase 2, currently isn't working, so transitioning into Terran. I'm currently sitting in platinum though I feel I had 2 lucky games with terran to put me there. Any tips appreciated and would love some fellow TipIters to add me and have some games :D

You have to remember Jagex aren't really an experienced gaming company, they don't really think before acting and will rarely admit when they're wrong. Now that I've accepted their incompetence these kind of updates don't really surprise me, as in it's Jagex nature to make such poor decisions. You have to remember, an MMO isn't really a game, it's a second world. A lot of the time you're not playing for fun, but to enhance stats or get better items that will allow you to have fun later. So please, if you're really playing RS to game and have fun, don't take this update to heart as it shouldn't impact on your enjoyment, just your other worlds economy.

Read replys. They are not underrated, people just don't lose them

I got a bit of a headache reading that. Quests are Runescape, they are a vital part of the game and If you do them properly without help, they are fun, challenging, and rewarding. It's a welcomed break from the grindfest, and those who don't want to do them, simply don't have to.

Exams are over, it's winter, so I'm back once more. This has got to be the longest road to 80 + all stats ever. And now with this new skill even longer. Oh well, working on mining now, right back in it.

So ..... Do i sell my ags now?

I hear ya. Looks like I'll slag through to 30 and let TOG do the rest. Crying that it's not another sand-box single player skill? Should accomodate for the no friends out there eh. :-?

Gertjaars, however, hasn't even started fishing, agility, hunter and mining, has only made very little progress in runecrafting and still needs over 3/4 slayer xp. Those are all very slow skills, with which he definitely won't be able to continue in his current phase. The same goes for Zarfot, yes, he has already maxed some of the most expensive skills, but we all know how "easy" some people make money. It's the slow skills that count. In fact, none of the maxed players are very high on either the agility or mining highscore, which leads me to believe we have to wait a long time, before anyone will "max out". This is why I tihnk S U O M I will devastate these hiscores when his total lvl reflects his xp. He's doing the long hard stuff first and dominating it. He has only 91 slayer and 84 runecrafting though. I'm sure after getting 200m fishing Agil and eventually mining, smithing and magic, 13m slay and rc xp won't be a problem. But yes as stated before his income is an issue, though hopefully by the time he elects to start the buyable skills he'll be well prepared. My money is on him by far.

Lol this is why I pk and monster hunt now. I wil however grind other skills to make this experience better ( prayer herblore summoning etc ).

Lol at Jagex not wanting to direct people to tip it because the fans may play a game advertised here.... So instead of giving tip it the platinum rating for the factors the system claims to uphold, they give it gold in order to protect their members staying with RS ... Just wow, maybe in their platinum description it should read "Must be loyal to Runescape and not play / advertise other games else we won't rate your Runescape content as decent." How pathetic. Yes there was classes in RS, but picking a warrior would've given flat 3s. so he leveled that attack accidently himself. And how do you know he's not the first 1k skill totaly at 9hp? There wasn't many 9hpers kept to skill, and I haven't seen any with 1k total on these forums as yet.

This is our future 200m all stats kid. He's doing the long tedious ones first, currently working on Mining + Smithing + Magic simultanously. He plans to do the buyable skills last I think. If you don't want to click the link, search the hiscores for S U O M I. If you're having trouble typing it in due to spaces, he's 6th in agility.
