  1. Actually yes ... a lvl 15 untrimmed summoning cape would be the greatest achievement ever. This would entail ring of recoils + rubber chicken on charm droppers ... for a long, long time. One day we'll see this, one day. Zzzamorak should come and give it a go, he got 57 slayer doing this so far.
  2. Kill the baby blacks in chaos tunnels. It's actually a good task if you do this, never skip.
  3. Nice progress today. You'll get this done before Christmas comfortably
  4. How come I haven't seen this blog before! This is good, keep it up. Another 80 + all stats goal with me and Saru - I love em. Always so much stuff happening. Best of luck!
  5. <_<8 - 9 / 11 / 09 ]IMG]http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/7734/quest2.png[/img] Phew. Still some more to go, questing is real fun, but when I'm trying to aim for WGS, it gets annoying in some places <_<
  6. This is a good point to add after reading all of our combined text. I think this point alone > my arguement. Thanks for the convo, especially Ravien. I think it's time I dealt with the implementations.
  7. Many items in the GE aren't at the correct prices. The ge lacks the ability to update prices if they aren't sold within the GE. Partyhats are worth far more than they are offered in the ge, and if you ever want one, you will be required to pay a lot more and accept junk. Same goes if you try to sell these items, you need to obtain junk to get the full value out of the item. If this isn't a broken system, I don't know what is. Well that's a bit silly isn't it. These characteristics are where the game was affected mostly. I.E. Pking, TRADE TRADE TRADE, multi-player aspect, familiarity with the full ramifications the change had. If you weren't aware, inflation is a huge problem, with the current state of pking to blame. Not all players are in it for the drops :P Correct, I don't. For most of the time in Runescape, you played for the community, and made the fun yourself within Jagex's lean boundaries. Restrictions are slowly making us play and act directly within Jagex's control, although I believe this grasp won't ever be held completly. Some examples are, 1. Designated trade location ( used to be determined by players and held mostly in falador ) 2. Confined drop party location ( used to be free of restrictions and held wherever the player decided. I understand both implementations are for anti-RWT, and I accept them. However these are examples of not relying entirely on Jagex, and I hope we won't ever have to as I said before, they do not know as much about the gameplay as the players.
  8. So having no game at all is better then what we have now? No, where did I say that? I like Runescape a lot, I'm just not fussed with the changes.
  9. @ romy. Clearly you were/are not: 1. A Pker 2. A Donator to friends 3. Familiar with rubbish junk trading 4. An oldie 5. A person who doesn't rely on all of Jagex's implementations to have fun Myself going through the phase from pre-RWT fix to post-RWT fix understands every negative impact this transition had. There are some good factors, both for players and for Jagex, but the negative definetly outweighs the good.
  10. It's a well laid out blog for one that needs so many level gains. However, may I suggest cropping your pictures to show only the level up section. The whole screen just seems a bit too much, and I found myself not reading the entire block because of this, and I thought maybe others may do the same. Just a suggestion
  11. Well, EP has no influence on Target Kills. well, it does. :? Actually, no. You can have 0% ep and risk nothing and still get awesome loot. Actually yes, lol. It has an influence on kills, definetly.
  12. Jagex isn't a gaming company? Then what are they, a home and garden company that sells games on the side? What a stupid, ignorant comment. Oh Omali, of all my jagex hate posts to pull me up on within this thread you pick this one :wall: Surely you know the context in which I say "Jagex isn't a gaming company." It's like saying light beer isn't a drink. Of course it is a drink, but it's not really, is it <3:
  13. Some whiny pkers quit? I wouldn't use the word whiny, most of those who quit were oldschool pkers who had enough. The rest sucked it up and tried to bear with it. And there was a profit from this, they stopped their real life credit card issues - this was the main reason they acted upon this. Yes, it paied off, for THEM. It has not improved gameplay, you are obviously too lonely to notice just how much this game has turned into a single player MMO. We barely need to interact with players for trades, and we cant give freebies to our friends. Since the change to the wild, most of the clans from the top 10 ( if not all ), quit. Clans are a huge community based part of the game, the changes to the game wiped a lot of that out. Please, before you post, understand in comparison to the old days, this is a step in a negative direction. Luckily with community based sites such as Tip it, Runescape is still a game worth playing and we are strong enough to make do with such decisions, just as we have done since the evil update which was Pest Control.
  14. Lol, they prefer money over game quality. Blizzard are a gaming company, Jagex isn't. They made one decent game, blizzard made most of the best games out today ( Starcraft, Warcraft, WoW, Diablo - AMAZING games ). Jagex aren't sure what they're doing most of the time, this is why we have the current rs mess.
  15. 7 / 11 / 09 I hates RC ... definetly last 80 I'll be getting
  16. Hi Mr Jagex lover. Firstly, this quote ( particularly the bolded bit ).. They make MANY decisions based around money. - They made the game easier to allow for more people to play, more money. - They changed pking / trade / dueling to stop RWT to protect their money ( although this point to me has become acceptable, credit card issues were a problem ) - They made a stupid promise about an update a week as a ploy to get more users to join. Although many of the updates are quite rubbish and unneccessary. And I believe this fact counters your claim of Jagex producing every update for a reason Now initially in Runescape, Paul would log on and talk to users about the updates or give some insight into whats to come. This was good as most of the players got a say, and it seemed Jagex were all about the community. After they established a solid foundation, they really did work on ways to get more and more players to play, and in some instances this resulted in poooooooor updates. Some of this money should go into the customer support sytem, but I assure you it doesn't. There are countless examples of these instances on these forums, and you hear many stories about automated responses. They KEY arguement for Jagex lovers against this case is, they simply do not have the time to deal with so many queries. This is rubbish, they simply haven't put the money into this system. If you played any other MMO you'd know the customer support system absolutly slaughteres Jagex's, I know from experience WoW gets back to you within 3 hours with a REAL person, and even in peak times ( a glitch in the server, w/e ) they get back to you one way or another, or scedule another time to discuss it. Jagex made a quality game, however the way they work isn't always justified as you claim. It is influenced by money, and it's quite clear most of the developers, DO NOT play the game.
  17. I'm staying F2P, just to tell ya. I might go for 99 Runecrafting, because: 1) It's my favorite skill. 2) It's the rarest 99. 3) For the cash. However, I will only go for it as soon as I get my other stats higher. I can't get members unfortunately. It's a good skill, but trust me you WILL get bored without the 91 double nat incentive. Why can't you get members?
  18. I used to hate firemaking too, until I realized the ridiculously fast exp rates. Another level today! [hide=71 Woodcutting][/hide] Will chop yews for a bit, finish up burning up my maples, and then RC my 10k essence in my bank. I hear you're going for 99 rc on f2p? That's a little bit insane, and seems highly ... well pointless to me. The idea is to get to 91 and smash the nats, and get 99 from nat making for lotsa cash  If you're still keen to get 99, just get 91 and then switch to members. Cake!
  19. @plqx Those graphs are real good. It's clear to see summoning doesn't deserve to be number 3, and over time it'll drop pretty fast. Seems rc and con are pretty closely matched. According to the graph they'll stay close for a while, however I believe with the vast ways to make money all too quickly, rc will pull away from con and hold a definete first spot, by a fair margin.
  20. I saw a lvl 15 with the prayer cape, pretty neato!
  21. That's impressive dude. Definetly 10 / 10. I love the fact your fletching is lacking, if you level that last it's gonna be a breezy max. Should make a topic called 99 fletching when you get it, and the people who know you will know that also means you maxed
