This sounds good to me. Another thing I thought of was making it an option for members if over half your bankspace was filled. Making a short quest required to get the option? Interesting idea. I only looked at the first and last one and a half pages of this monster thread, so maybe someone thought of the same concept.

Same here, although I do enjoy most of the quests, and have done most. Besides a break in the routine, there's usually some boost in XP in places, new weapon or armor or ability, and you get more points in the Guthix minigame.

Just a thought, suppose Runescape puts up a new statue in Falador "In memory of the victims of the Great Massacre?" And yes, it would be almost comic if it turned out some infamous terrorist/dictator/etc. had an account here.

Did anyone affected by the bug try to stop the PKers instead of clobbering bystanders?

A couple outfit's I've worn: Red dragon body, red dragon legs, goldsmith gauntlets, highwayman mask, black claws, and cape. People told me I looked like "Robin" from "Batman." :D Around Easter, I had desert robe top, desert robe bottom, white scarf, white jester hat, air battlestaff, sard holy book, and legends cape.

Heh, as I get most of my firemaking experience there, I've long known World 2 was the place to go there. Otherwise you need to talk a number of friends into going with you. An "official" alternate world would be welcome, as it can be pretty difficult to get into the one that's right. I've had to make over 50 sacred oils at once at a time just so I wouldn't fight to log into World 2 for a while.

I have yet to use customer support either. The few problems I had didn't require their help, though I imagine some less paitent souls would have gone their first. I've heard jokes over the years about real cases tech guys get such as "the coffee cup holder on my computer." Not sure what the RS equivalent is.

I never did get into the habit of "leetspeak" or Internet abreviations, and seldom use lines like "U 2." There are a few times a word has to be deliberately mispelled as the censor program sometimes bleeps innocent phrases. I wonder how many stares I get when instead of "LOL" they see above my persona " *laughing* " ?

So I'm an old-schooler? I started in Spring '03, but didn't play frequenly until Summer when I got regular access to a PC. There were few updates for the first several months I played as RS2 was in development, but I had fun playing the quests that were already uploaded. I still have some of the old friends I made in RS Classic, and a few new ones. There are a few things I miss, but plenty of new things to experience.

*enters forum* Heh, good story. Even if there was no Tutorial Island when I first came in as I also came in what's now Runescape Classic before. I didn't do much that first day, just looking around, and doing little stuff for the first few days. Runescape was my first real look at a MORPG, and I haven't felt much reason to go elsewhere.
