People just dont believe in a God then use a book to support it, the read the book first and then believe in God. Actually it makes no sense. Writing about something doesn't bring it into existence. Next time look at an argument from an objective point of view please. Maybe he means exist for the people that beleive. Like he is asking the question would they even know of his existance without writing? Which depends if you beleive God is an innate idea or not, although cultural religion probably proves that no God(s) is innate, and is culturally determined.

Racism is discriminating against others because you think your or another race is superior to them. Thinking someone is indian because they have brown skin isn't racism. People try to define everything related to color as racism. For example "Can i have black coffee?" "Racist!". Which is sad to say actually does go on in this world. Mostly down to poltical correctness which is now at an all time high because of freedom groups protesting about things like this. When in actual fact what they have done is push it too the extreme and is taking away freedom to say things which have no racial intention.

I saw a documentary that was pretty farfetched but that said God could an alien race from another planet. UFO's have been around for a very long time, Ezekiel even documents a could be UFO encounter in the Bible. However it basically said this Alien race populated this planet as in they created us, they will return for us. Really it's just supplementing God with Alien. But it was interesting. Also at the end of it it showed art work from throughout history of Jesus and Biblical drawing which seemed to have UFO's in them in some form or another. I think you need to take each case on it's merit. I support the principle of stoping mass genocide. Yes, removing Saddam was a good thing on this principle alone however the situation in Iraq is probably unsolvable.

Simple. It's not your goverment's job to keep their gorverment doing theirs. Exactly. It's the same reason many people voice their opinion that the United States should stop acting like the World Police. Which could be said for World War One and Two aswell. However we should have more decency to step in when people are suffering i would have thought. We put ourselves in those childrens shoes. I hate this, flame wars are personally attacking a peron. Not once did that occur here, it was a debate that attacked ideas and reasons for beleiving in them. Which is debating.

I added a link to their homepage in my signature hopefully people will follow. It's true the crimes commited there are terrible. It really makes me question why our governments are allowing this type ot tourture to citizens of our planet.

I don't know what society you are from, but where I am, religions, especially Christianity, is questioned almost nonstop in the public arena. Thats not neccessarily a bad thing, like i the other thread I held a beleif you intensley critisised it and i somewhat changed it for the better. Religion should be questioned to strengthen the beleif in the followers, change their opinions hopefully for the better and to progress us as human beings.
