Are you interested in/fascinated by any other religions?
I don't agree with religions i tolerate. Why is that useless? It leaves for everyone being able to worship who they like. As apose to the past where every religion under the sun has been discriminated on because of intolerante religions. Why would this be useless? It leads to utility and utlity is what I'm all about.

I love the smell of cigarette and cigar smoke. I despise the smell of weed. Therefore weed should be illegal and cigarettes legal. However, i hardley think we need an introduction of a new drug when society is in the shape it is in. That sounds like a wager!

State of the Union....
Actually I implied nothing such as that. Infact televison news programmes said that exact thing when arguing for Bush. Other areas that where mostly white dominated where given another ballot card if they made a mistake. In major black communities they where not (around 90% of black people vote against the republican party). So much so that the U.S Civil Rights Commission got involved and concluded that out of 179,855 ballots that didn't count 53% where from black voters (when the group are a minority). Overall in Florida a black person was 10 times more likley to have their vote rejected than a white voter. Edit: Here's a page which will explain the Sunni and Shiite situation in Iraq http://www.albionmonitor.com/0604a/iraqsunnishiite.html

Bring back Capital punishment?
Waste human life (no matter how bad they are) to free up rooms in prisons sounds wrong. Murder used to be the punishment here, but It didn't work! Thats why Silverman and the commons abolished it, it was a lousy deterent. People usually think that they can get away with murder or do it in the heat of the moment, or don't even think about it. Our law on murder is so screwed up, it's in need of reform. The law Commission already suggested the 1st and 2nd degree murder, yet ntohing has been done. Anyway, it's a vicious circle. Government needs more prisons -> People get annoyed hearing their taxes are paying for prisons instead of education and things -> The current government thinks "If we build prisons, they will hate us!" -> Government doesn't build prisons, hoping the next party will. And so on, there really should be a better way for getting issues like this resolved. There should be a board of experts assigned an amount of money each year to spend on ways the government don't like to. Only on issues that benefit society though. Utility!

Spanking children, is it wrong?
I am ashamed of this generation, however corporal punishment and spanking may not be the way forward. Liberals are taking things a little too far i think and turning things against themselves, take racial names for example. In todays society in some places you can't say "Black Coffee" and in nursery schools the childrens rhyme "Baa Baa black sheep have you any wool?" has become "Baa Baa Rainbow/Wooly sheep have you any wool". Just this standout of racial names shows how petit people can be - and the extent these changes hurt society. I'd consider myself a conservative liberal and don't beleive spanking is the way to progress society. Parents should not have the right to use violence, as i see children as people too. You wouldn't like it if someone came and punched you in the face for doing something wrong. If they fall off the tracks, are generally annoying people then when they reach 16 they can do two years basic training in the army. Younger children should be taught better by their parents and i garuntee you the people who are badly behaved have bad parents and so allowing them to hit their children is a bad idea.

9/11 Commision LIES
NO! Obviously I posted them so bickering children could tell me not to feel bad that I'm an idiot for making a controversial and interesting post full of facts. A fact is the absolute truth. Example: H2O is water. That is a fact. What you're posting is what the media has told you. The media does not have to tell the absolute truth. They can twist their words.. So you're admitting you could be a subject of media lies aswell? Stop acting like you know everything and either contest some of the 'facts' he posted or stop posting in this thread. All you have done in this thread is insult the poster, while not offering any discussion other than flames.

Another Universe, Another God.
It's possible you're thinking of the 'many worlds' theory of quantum mechanics. Basically, a new universe is created where a decision has a certain outcome. The easiest way to explain it is through the Schroedinger's cat example, i.e. in one universe the cat lives, in another it dies. This leads on to something called Quantum Immortality though. Simply put, you could potentially live forever through a range of universes. For example, if you were to be shot and died in one universe, but lived in another, and so on. Yes, i think this is used in the telelogical argument contesting Gods existance. I think the critisism goes "Different universes could be being created all the time, and so one of them has to have the right balances to be able to sustain life". Backed up with quantun mechanics. I heard they suspect there to be thirteen different dimensions too. Maybe less, can't remember.

Equality.
Some women back track femminism becauce of society. They don't want to be treated differently example if a woman hits a man thats fine. If a man hits a woman there up in arms when each side is as bad as the other. Society has to change for women to have true equality.

State of the Union....
Okay, your view of the Iraq war is simply Bush trying to enstate Democracy. However, thats not the main problem with the war. The main problem is there are three religious groups (Shiites, Kurds and Sunnii's) fighting for the oil region. They all wan't a peice of it and they won't settle until it happens. This could lead to all out civil war, and i doubt many people will hold their principles of fighting for democracy when they see their familys shot and blown up. The point is Bush illegally invaded a country, threw it unto turmoil and now can't leave. Whislt the country slowley decends into a war of all against each other.

Another Universe, Another God.
Theres a theory that new universe's are being created all the time. I can't remember what the theory is supposed to support, contest or approve though.

Accept it or not, it's still amazing
I admit, Nostradamus' predictions (different from the bible code) are pretty eerie. Such as this possibly refering to 9/11 Even if they are true, he doesn;t expect the third great war to end the world. That is kept for another thousand years. But i dont go in for all this jazz. Most of these are debunked here: http://skepdic.com/nostrada.html And a better understanding here: http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko12530/nostradamus.htm

State of the Union....
The recount was refused and Bush and his team saw to it that the recount never officialy happened for Florida. Thats why the media did it. They found Gore won by 662 votes, and Gore would have won Florida and taken the 25 electorial points, therefore becoming the president. As for the disenfranchised americans, votes with small marks on them and punching your ballot card twice, when it clearly shows your choice where rejected. Gadsden County in Florida which contains the higher percentage of black people had a higher spoil rate. Many voters wrote in 'Al Gore' - these votes where rejected as 'Al' counted as a stray mark. The recount for Florida was stopped by Harris who was a Bush supporter, and she did everything she could to stop it. They didn't need to go in the first place, Tony Blair could face a criminal war charge. Bush has entered Iraq - overthrown the only power that was keeping the Sunni's Shiites and Kurds from killing one another. Yes he was doing this in an illegal way, but is seemed Bush didn't even know of the situation in Iraq. Now the only solution is dividing the country into three sectors. However each group wants the prosperous oil region. They will fight and fight for it.

State of the Union....
Aaand yet another "I hate Bush because eveyone says to." How original. Of course, enough people voted for him to become president... twice... He's illegitimate because YOU say so? He cares more about his country than you ever will, as is proved by the fact that you call the product of the majority vote in this country "Illegitimate." No, Gore got the most votes overall in the 2000 election. American runs on democracy, therefore seeing as Gore won the most votes it's reasonable to assume he should have been president. For this, thousands of people threw eggs at Bush on his way to the whitehouse. Leading to the traditional drive to be sped up just to get away. The loss in Florida was down to many things such as media representation (by his cousin who was running the cover for fox) and the disenfranchising of thousands of african americans who when they complained to the senate, none of the senators would sign the protest. Since he didn't win the democratic election, as proved in a recount after the initial election infront of the sentate, it's fairly obvious to say he started his poltical reign as an illegitimate power, and is ending his reign with a war against Iraq, tearing the country into civil war as three groups fight over the land where the oil is. Kudos to Bush. Diagram From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta ... da_results

Rs as a second lifestyle
It's pretty bad if you develop a need to play, i don't play anymore and it wasn't hard to stop. As i didn't enjoy it anymore. People who consider it their second life, or even first should start doing more. It's bad for health and social development.
