Very good example, but our history of knowing how protected the place is less worries us while nuculear power stays the same. So are you saying EVERY nulcular power plant is as protected as the falls?

What the hell kind of reasoning is that? Let's not do this because our laws on it will surely be broken... I'm thinking people must be under the impression that super-humans are running these plants and obviously do not have any problems absorbing the massive amounts of radiation into their bodies. And they obviously don't live near the plants either, so why would they care if the radation was dumped into the local river or buried in a local field? The reason for no one EVER getting sick or dying from nuclear plants is because they take the radiation so far away from human civilization that it would take thousands of years to seep through the ground to even have minimal effects on humans. The what about the animals? plants? the radiation exposes to them, then we kill them---> eat them----> get exposed.

exactly what I'm thinking of and why I'm not convinced. Yes nuculear power is good but the effects of it are bad. America can't find places to just 'bury' waste, people will protest. The waste if my only real concern, Yes I understand it's safe to use nuculear plants but it's dumb to think of how to manage the waste

I want to know where he got his sources from.
  6. baalboy5 replied to baalboy5's topic in Off-Topic
See thats what I mean, the waste! they can't handle the waste correctly. How would they in America? 1 mistakes and a city is infected.
  7. baalboy5 replied to baalboy5's topic in Off-Topic
I don't think those 2 are the best ideas...
  8. There like 3 ghosts in my house, they don't scare me or anything. They just LOVE annoying me, even though they know I'm not scared of them. I hear a random bang, I roll over and go back to sleep. I really hate it when they pull my bed sheets tho, gah it gets cold at night then. Jerk ghosts suck.

What happens when a nuclear plant gets bombed? it reallly smart to have a plant in iran/iraq at this moment?
  10. baalboy5 replied to baalboy5's topic in Off-Topic
thats not strictly true, solar power, wind power and hydro are all safer. There are also hazards regarding waste. The US uses their all knowing hand to stop countries like iran and north korea from producing nuclear power, but its all  for them to do it? Our laws, their laws.

Thous that never heard of it read this article on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chornobyl here a few video sources from youtube (WARNING: some bad images, very sad) Here a few game refrences to thous that play[ed] COD4 It's vey intersting, a necular plant blew up and this city got infected by radiation, almost killing them all, but mostly giving all of em cancer. Discuss.
  17. Tacobell > Subway > Burgerking > Wendy's > fail > McDonald's :o Subway is crap. The bagettes are just like normal bread. Ham tastes like crap. My experience with Burger King is such bad service, I've started going to McDonald's instead. (Seriously, who can [bleep] up a plain hamburger (i.e. no extras)?) And theres no Tacobells/Wendy's nearby(ish) to my knowledge. Is that a old sig sword? I still like checkers over everything!
  18. I like checkers chicken sandwhiches.

  22. This belongs to off topic in my opinion because it is based off how a company used a movie to make messages to support it's products. Yes it's a movie, so it belong in the movie forum, but it is also about video games. Info based off of. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wizard ... #Reception Review by the Nostalgia Very very bad verbal here, reviewed by the 'Angry video game nerd' Yes this is very old news but it brings a intersting information. A MOVIE was used to advertise ALL of NINTENDO's games. It even showed the 'preview' to Super Mario Bros 3. The thing is, this shocks me and I can't believe a movie was used, and that this worked! Discuss.
