  1. Man I'm happy to have never talked to you. I might had the nerve to start a conversation and somewhere in that conversation asked something "personal", like where are you from? Please be human and report them if they really keep asking important personal information, like e-mail, adresses or phonenumbers. Giving some details about how you are seems only normal.
  2. If you want to have a melee pure, get your att and str up. That 60 magic is ok, since you'll want teleblock anyway. THat bit of ranged is ok aswell, since it gives a small boost to HP.
  3. Since none of the spells are offensive, you can wear any kind of armour and still cast all spells effectively. So this is great for warriors and rangers for some magic back up.
  4. F2p wildy only sees pures now. In essence, there is nothing wrong with a pure: just a strategically developed character. But pures do seem to be much more effective in wildy than balanced characters, to a point that you're not bringing your main character into wildy anymore (he doesn't stand a chance anyway). And that's a bit my problem: if you wanna pk, you'll need a pure. Since I really like my main, i don't feel like creating a pure and this means that i can't really enjoy all pieces of runescape. That's very disappointing.
  5. That's gonna be a difficult one to compute. I guess you have to make a couple of pures and test it. Take one pure with 40 att and rune scimmy and start making another one without any equipment. Now estimate when they hit equally often.
  6. I agree. It would be nice for a very high lvl creature (lvl 1000+) that uses several combat styles at once and can hit very high. The idea is that you need lots of people to kill it (clans and so) and the monster gives a nearly garantued good reward. (drop rate dragon chain 90% or so). To compensate for large clans to keep on killing it and getting too many chains, let the monster spawn only once a week.
  7. All three books give a +8 bonus to prayer, above that: zammy book gives +8 to att, ranged and magic offense sara gives + 8 to def, ranged def and magic def. guthix gives +4 to all. I would chose zammy, cause no other items that can be held in the shield slot give offensive bonusses to ranged and magic. If you want def, get a shield.
  8. I played oblivion for some time, so let's use some inspiration from that game. The new skill: stealth! Players would be able to be undetectable to monsters and others players. Depending on your skill and equipment (full rune does not make you stealthy) a stealthy warrior is able te remain undetected by opponents and uses the advantage of a surpise attack. In wildy you would be invisible on the minimap and harder to see ingame (more transparant or so). Once you reveiled your location either by attacking or using an item, the effects end. The stealth skill also provides bonusses to attack and strength when attacking someone in the back or less bonus when attacking in the side. I know this will be hard to implement in runescape, but it's the idea that counts :)
  9. don't forget that the value price from the store is dependent on the stock.
  10. Thats just wrong........ Nothing wrong about that. Many guys play female characters. I change my character's gender from time to time. I actually think that the female character has much more dynamic graphics than the male version. And besides runescape, how many guys do you think ever played a Tomb raider game?
  11. Instead of talking about RS3, how about the best improvement Runescape coud use? For me, the best thing would be to make runescape much more dynamic. Faster and more direct movement. differences in runnning speeds between monsters and players. This would allow for far more strategy and tactics options. For instance, warriors in full plate armour would be tank like, lots of stamina but also very slow and warriors in chain armour would be faster, but more vulnerable.
  12. I'm currently playing elder scrolls 4 oblivion and summoning is a skill there. For a certain mana cost, you can summon monsters and equipment (swords, armour) to aid you in combat. I agree with bloodveld that the current runescape engine seems to be way to simplistic to properly support summoning. It's too easy to just evade the summoned monster and attack the caster. However, the idea of bound equipment sounds better. That equipment would be less powerfull than existing stuff, but you also can't ever lose it in wildy for example.
  13. This world would be very weird if luck wasn't random...
  14. Then one more month later: AHRIM has been UPGRADED TO ACIENTS! and is HITTING THROUGH PRAYER!!! *dies* and 7 years later...prayer doesnt work on any NPC or player at all  And then two seconds later Jagex will lose a lot of money as tons of members quit. i hate prayer anyway. +1, i can only hope that instead of 7 years, it will be 7 days to get rid of the protection prayers.
  15. Nice pic! So, how did that fight end? :P
  16. Nothing bogus about that, you just don't understand probabilities. 1 of 1000 doesn't mean that you are guaranteed that drop once in 1000 tries. It means that every kill gives a chance of 1 in 1000 for getting that item. As a matter of fact the chance for getting a drop with a drop rate of 1/1000 and trying 1000 times is 63%. Each kill the chance of not getting the drop is 999/1000. So the chance for not getting the drop in 1000 tries is then (999/1000)^1000 = 0.37, which means that the chance of getting the drop in 1000 tries is equal to 1-0.37 = 0.63 or 63% Nothing is random in this game and on the other hand, nothing is guaranteed. :)
  17. So, the problem is that the entire game is ruined i guess 8-) Your first remark about x-ing out had a point, the rest doesn't.
  18. How about because trimmed rune exists way longer and Jagex could have decided that f2p shouldn't get trimmed dragon hides when they implented those just recently? It's not that f2p can wear all special rune sets (think of gilded), which means that f2p also cannot automatically wear special dragonhide sets. So it was not a stupid question at all. Please, you think before posting...
  19. Oh well, maintenance is also needed, so it's no problem. Usually, the updates are on time and what is one week anyway? It's great that they actually tell each week what they are doing, instead of leaving you in the dark.
  20. You could try to mine granite instead of iron. They give an average 60 exp per block and are mostly one hitted. I think it's faster exp than iron, but i haven't timed it yet.
  21. I'm not even near those stats, but isn't wildy a good place? Double exp and many players won't be able to pk you easily.
  22. I don't get it, what do people find so amusing about spamming? Just look at all those players just typing lots of @.
  23. Would you 'own'? You make it sound like you expect to hit a button and your target dies automatically. You have a nice magic lvl, but not high enough to really surprise people in wildy. I expect any pk-er to have 85 magic. I would get 85 magic for easy teleblock and think about your backup attack (dds, or get your range to 85 as well).
  24. Yeah, it's a shame a steel dragon gives no drops. But be happy that your friend found this out so soon. Now you know and you can find another goal. And 70 construction is a good achievement no matter what! :) Oh, btw, i never lied to you ;)
