If you want clues, kill slayer monsters. Blue dragons never seem to drop clues on a frequent basis. I have had no problems getting clues from turoths and kurasks.

Many male players play female characters. I switch genders ingame a lot too, i even think that the female character has better graphics. Anyway, i rather look at girls than boys, so that is just another reason the use a female character. 8-) btw, i can't recall anyone making any problems in using female characters in the entire lara croft - tomb raider game series. :lol:

Who knows? But it sure sounds good! I don't think Jagex rushed the skill. The three months spacing between hunter and construction says nothing about the actual development time. It seems logical that Jagex first let the players get a taste of the new skill and then start to present the very tasty rewards.

I believe it when i see it. When things seem to be good to be true, they usually aren't. Somehow i have the feeling that the imp box won't work in wildy. it just seems to easy. Butterflies seem to be great in combination with lunar magicks!

It depends on how much money you are prepared to spend. Smithing in f2p is only really profitable when converting ores to bars (and then especially steel). But if you're willing to spend some cash on lvling, buy bars. Better quality bars are more expensive, but provide faster exp. If you decide to use this route, i advise you to smith plates and high alch those.

In what way are people that played for years not true players of Runescape? If anything they are more "true".

how are you going to get all the pearls? I usually have lots of problems getting pearls in bulk.

The max hit for slayer dart is not always 19! It depends on your magic lvl. The max is 10 + your magic lvl divided by 10 and rounded down. For instance at magic lvl 65 your max is 16. At magic lvl 79, your max hit is 17. You'll need a magic lvl of at least 90 to hit a 19.

Why is gertrude's cat that important? I can't think of many quests that require gertude's cat quest as essential? Or is it that i just absolutely hate the very annoying ingame pets? :D

At 70 ranged, you don't stand a chance to make any kind a decent money from black dragons. I just tried some myself and at 87 range, crystal bow, a range pot and prayer, i still only hit about 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. I use the same conditions for blue drags and hit nearly every time. I suggest you do some questing and finish the watchtower quest. Then use the ogre enclave to kill blue dragons. Much faster than taverly dungeon and better money than black drags.

Doesn't the new prosytolite (sp?) armour provide better pray bonus than monk robes?

Hunting could be a new skill. But instead of hunting big, scary monsters (like you do in the slayer skill), i'm thinking more along the lines of trapping and hunting deer, rabbits, basically animals you can eat and use the fur of. It could be used as a rival for fishing and complement the cooking skill. The furs could get more use in new player made clothing designs. I know, this is pure speculation on my part, but in my opinion, the skill could work.

It's a bit different. When i finished horror from the deep, another player was fighting the mother dagganoth and I had to wait for him to finish it, before I could fight it. It seems to be a different map or something.

Only cast on high magic def monsters, like black dragons. Cursing is all about failing to succesfully cast the spell. Don't worry, you still get the exp. As long as you fail the spell, you can instantly try to cast the spell again. If the cast is succesfull, you need to find another monster to cast on.

I suggest you kill blue dragons to recover the costs, these seem to generate the most money per kill. And while we're on topic, how does the recharging works if you buy a second bow? I recharged my first bow about 3-4 times now, will I also be able to benefit from the reduced recharging costs for a newly bought crystal bow?

I think you made up your mind :) If you feel you want to do something else, then jsut do it. The game is about having fun. If your myspace provides more joy, focus on that. Your character will always be waiting for you. Both things are not important. Nothing in life lasts forever, if you feel it's then its over. Just do whatever you feel like. 8-)

At 76 mining, I can sometimes one hit coal. But as far as i know you are never guarenteed to one hit coal. But if your friends are really claiming this, why don't you ask them?

You can only use one type of boost prayer at a time, so the maximum is 15%. It is possible to use an attack boost and a strength boost prayer at the same time.

^^ Rune armour does effect your hitting chances with slayer dart. You can test this by casting slayer dart on a high magic def monster, while wearing full mystic and full rune and you'll notice the difference. However, most of the barrows brothers have a negative magic def and are easily hit even while wearing full rune. Just know that mystic will hit even more often.
