Does the T mean Transsexual? It's actually LGBT - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender. Also seen occasionally as LGBTQ - Q for queer (unsure). I always thought 'queer' was seen as a mildly offensive term. Context. In what context is it good? Was often used as a term to mean 'strange' or another word for eccentric. You can see where homosexuality came into play there, especially looking at previous attitudes on things. I guess in that sense it wouldn't be "good", but it wouldn't be "offensive" either.
