  1. This is hardly fair to people that didn't log on at 12 but I guess there's nothing we can do about it and it is Jagex after all so we should've expected some cockup.
  2. You're making great progress dude, keep it up!
  3. That second kick is hacks. lol. Thanks for sharing. It was supposed to be a cross, I think he hit it with his weaker foot. I've got quite a lot of goals from distance saved but they're all pretty similar so I won't bother posting them.
  4. As stated earlier, aren't you like 14? Will the coins be earned like XP? Does anybody know about this? I think one of the developers said in normal game modes you get coins for things like kills and headshots like you do with xp, but in wager modes it's different.
  5. Yes it will. I have 99 slayer, but can't get a Ice Wyrms task because I don't have a worthless Fire Cape. And I don't have 2,000 Slayer points because I got almost all my Slayer xp before the points system was introduced. So, if I must get a Ice Wyrms task, I will need to either get a Fire Cape ( which ain't gonna happen ) or continue to train a skill in which I already have a level of 99. If getting an Ice Wyrms task, or killing an Ice Wyrms will be the elite task requirement, this is a one-off from the achievement diaries' tasks. The tasks have generally been about skill achievements, not content achievements. Being required to kill an Ice Wyrm would be the same as being required to enter the level 75 Dungeoneering Cave while wearing full Void, which is only partially about the skill of Dungeoneering. Being required to kill an Ice Wyrms, as opposed to just having 93 Slayer, would make about as much sense as being required to fish a shark while wearing a blue phat. Your comparison would make sense if blue party hats required a fishing level to wear. Seeing as how ice wyrms are a SLAYER monster with a SLAYER LEVEL requirement, slaying an ice wyrm for the diary makes plenty of sense. Don't want a fire cape? You got your compromise in the form of 2,000 slayer points, so quit complaining and start slaying. Why get 99 in a skill you don't like, anyway? That makes far less sense than what you're complaining about. Could someone point out to me just where it was exactly that I said that I do not like Slayer? I don't see it, do you see it? The problem with these forums is that people make up your response out of their own head, and them complain about what they think or wanted you to say, not what you actually did say. My comparison makes perfect sense. A Fire Cape is not a requirement of 93 Slayer. So, even with 99 Slayer ( one of my favorite skills by the way ) I may not be able to meet a 93 Slayer level achievement diary task. So, being required to kill an Ice Wyrm is a combination of a skill and an activity. If you look at the previous tasks in the diaries, they were generally just one skill, not a combination of things. So, my point, that it is a one-off, is completely valid. If one of the achievement dairies tasks was to smith a rune plate body, but only in the level 80 Resource Dungeon, I think that some of the level 99 Smithers might have a few comments on that. But, they should just shut-up and start training Dungeoneering I guess. If you point out an inconsistency within the game, you are complaining. If you say that you would rather not train a skill in which you are already level 99, you are hating the skill. If you expose the continuing Fire Cape hegemony, you are whining. You don't have to use a firecape? The task would only require Slayer because you can get a Stryewyrm task simply by using points to unlock the ability to attack them without a cape. That doesn't have a combination of multiple components, it is purely slayer.
  6. I have to say, I wasn't considering buying this but I'm going to keep a close eye on this now I've seen some impressive footage.
  7. I watched all three and really enjoyed them, glad to see they are making another series.
  8. I'm glad they've decided to make the armour look different and correspond with other pieces, I always thought VA3 could look nicer.

  12. They added more stuff to the diversions part of the game bar.
  13. I've always been a big fan of the diaries so I'm looking forward to that and the graphics updates.

I think the bonus xp weekends are great, any effect on the economy for regular players is minimally disruptive and there are ways to get around some items not being sold on the GE.
  15. Train my Smithing for me?
  16. $10 is what? Six or seven british pounds? It isn't a massive increase in price and paying £50 for a years subscription isn't that much anyway. It comes out to just over four pounds a month, that's chump change.

  18. Jagex added Daemonheim to the game as a seperate area for Dungeoneering, you can't say it isn't attached to the skill when it was specifically designed for said skill.
  19. I didn't mean it as figuratively as that, but to talk of Dungeoneering is to talk of Daemonheim. You can't have one without the other.
  20. - Dungeoneering tells you to keep going through the dungeons. Daemonnheim provides a backstory and a plot that has (possibly) already ended. Boss fights and puzzles that forces you to use your skills are not exclusive to quests, which also uses them to some degree, along with minigames and D&D's -As with most quests, Daemonheim provides it's story in segments. Daemonheim is not dungeoneering -The story in Daemonheim is directly related to (and will, most likely, affect) existing storylines in Runescape. Daemonheim is not dungeoneering - The story is told via clues found by the player as they descend into Daemonheim, which is a very common storytelling device in nearly all mediums of storytelling. Daemonheim is not Dungeoneering. See the difference now? Daemonheim will eventually be a quest area, but not thanks to Dungeoneering. Dungeoneering doesn't have a plot. Daemonheim has a backstory, Dungeoneering is not Daemonheim. Due to this, every single line written in those cronicles, diaries and letters do not belong to Dungeoneering, but to Daemonheim. The skill has no plot. The closest thing to a plot Dungeoneeing has is "We are the Fremnicks, explore the dungeons in trade of rewards". Similar to minigames. Daemonheim is dungeoneering...
  21. Good luck with the smithing, I've got 95 banked in gold ores and natures but I keep putting it off. You going to do it during the bonus xp weekend?
  22. There was an update concerning the ropes. Now each person has to put their own rope on, but it will stay on there forever. Kinda like the rope to GWD. Ah ok thanks, I must've missed that. Kind annoying as I spent a long time hopping the other day when I wanted to solo but figured elite clue hunters were taking all the worlds. #-o
