  1. I'm a cider man, Bulmer's mainly. I have to say pear cider doesn't really do it for me, also had a bottle of raspberry before which was vile.
  2. I've been doing Barrows in between tree runs to get some money together for 90 Smithing, I figure it'll cost a lot (maybe 30m?) so I thought this would be the best way to do it for me. I'm using a method that is posted on Runescoop, basically I use a salamander and bank every five chests. It gets me through pretty quickly and isn't overly expensive so I'm hoping with a bit of luck I'll have the cash to start 90 Smithing by the end of my exams. I got a D Med and Karils Skirt to start me off, I'm hoping for a few Dh helms though ;) I got this just now, three more to go :)
  3. Thanks, I'll probably be able to look into doing larger teams in the summer when I get more time. Hopefully I can keep chipping away at Dungeoneering until then so I don't have to wait long until I can get the best xp. ;) Been doing daily farming runs, will have 87 in a couple of days. I got two strange rocks when I was testing out the gem bag and decided to finish up the level (8 more till Gorgonite!):
  4. Thanks Kill :) I decided to open my blog again because once the summer rolls round after exams I'll be able to play a bit more. My new goals are on the front page, I'm going to (hopefully) do a Farming run everyday and Penguins every week as well. I spent this weeks points on Mining but I'm not sure what I'll permanently decide to get free xp in. Umm so yeah just post if you see something you like or have something to say, I'm hoping I can keep this blog up and running. Oh yeah, if you're interested in doing Dungeoneering with me, duoing or trioing would be cool. I have 35 Dungeoneering at the minute so send me a PM or post here if you're interested. I got this from doing the latest quest:
  5. Any more advice? Particularly on Smithing?
  6. I'm really loving this game right now, a real change of pace from MW2. Does anybody know if/when these sigs update? Or if there are any that update automatically?
  7. I've been quite impressed with the Dungeoneering skill, and I feel it is a good opportunity to train some of my skills to help me get easier/quicker exp in Dungeoneering. I only solo because I don't have time to get a team together, so I figured having higher skills would make my life easier when I reach higher floors. So yeah, basically just need advice on the best ways to train these skills. I have MTK on fish and herbs for easy herblore exp for minimal loss, but other than that I haven't been 'moneymaking' for a while so my cashpile isn't the largest. Cooking - 90 -> 99 Fishing - 86 -> 90 Fletching - 85 -> 90 Smithing - 80 -> 90 Mining - 71 -> 80 Hunter - 70 -> 80 Runecrafting - 71 -> 80 Thieving - 71 -> 80 Also, should I do ToG to get free exp in Dungeoneering or is it pointless to do so because I'm missing out on tokens?
  8. I finally got the game, and I played for a couple of hours and really enjoyed it! I'm up for playing 360 with anyone who has the game, send me a message if you want to play. And yes, I have a mic so I will be a decent team player. :P
  9. I have to say I thought Gordon Brown did really well tonight, I sincerely hope his slip up yesterday doesn't have a major impact on the way the results pan out.
  10. I don't really like how Jagex say that because each Dungeon is 'unique' it gives a fun experience every time. Sure, the shape of the room and layout of the dungeon is the same, but you essentially do the same thing each floor anyway. The only significant variation I find is the different puzzles.
  11. I thought David Cameron was going to be the one committing political suicide this general election, how wrong was I! :P
  12. The seed update looks like a really positive change for soloers in particular. Just out of interest, does anybody know how the Summoning calculating change affects the dungeons? Does it make the enemies slightly less difficult or just reduce the number of obelisks around?
  13. I'm liking the changes to Dungeoneering, and the Thieves Guild might be interesting as well.
  14. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeoneering#Bosses Open that up if you encounter a boss you haven't met before, it will tell you it's weakness and the best way to go about defeating it.
  15. Hoping to get this by the end of the week, so if any 360 users want to play send me a PM.
  16. I guess I'm the opposite, I sweat loads unless I put some 24h anti perspirant on in the morning
  17. If you find you're getting a low amount of ores per rock, I find it helps to save up any cash you get and buy an ore equivalent to the best pickaxe you can smith. This gives you a much better chance of getting more ores which can be really helpful in the final boss fight. I think the Behemoth is weak to slash as well which is quite important if you didn't already know that. :)
  18. I'm getting this for 360 soon along with a friend and was wondering if anyone had tips on how to change my playing style from MW2 to this more easily. Obviously I realise the games about teamwork and not camping at the back with a sniper all the time, but on a smaller scale is there anything I need to be doing to help my team. I watched that short video a few pages back which was quite helpful.
  19. I don't understand Jagex answers to questions about solo play. People are asking if they would consider boosting xp for solo players who don't like playing with others, and in response they are saying that most people like working in groups so therefore the xp for solo play is ok? I only have the time to do a floor here and there, making a team would bite into that time so therefore I solo. Should I penalised for this?
  20. The Slayer update won't really affect me but I'm interested to know how they patched up Dungeoneering.
  21. For most games manuals are a waste of paper, this is a good move.
  22. I'm not able to vote this time around but I watched the debate nonetheless, it was really interesting to see how well Nick Clegg did compared to the other two. David Cameron is actually my local MP, but I don't think he is going to win the landslide he was predicted a few months ago, he seems too inconsistent.
  23. I don't really see 'knifers' to be that big of a problem anymore, maybe it's the game modes I play but I don't really see any now.
  24. I've really been getting into doing solo runs, it's good fun and I've found that turning on the music (something I haven't done in years) really adds to the atmosphere.
  25. Twice a day and mouthwash, because I'm normal.
