  1. With photoshop i'm not sure. Are they jpg. png.? If they are then you probabl just need to make them smaller or less complex.
  2. 1000 wins 525 loses. Takes ages and is extremely boring
  3. Well first time i tryed it my internet crashed since it's so big. You need to reduce the size of the image, use a 1 pixel thick brush, shade it and add some texture and detail. Lots to work on but a good first try.
  4. As d u e s said it is extremely neat and i really like it. bit simple though and maybe a bit more shading.
  5. very nice, your shading is very visible and works like a treat. You need to add more texture to the hair and maybe colour the lines in. The amulet seems a bit dodgy too, colour the string in.
  6. The helm does look very copied It's a good try but it seems very empty.
  7. It would be better if you did whole people but that previous style is very cheerful and uplifting. Maybe you should do a bit of both 0 making sure you shade the smilies
  8. I like the first fake, although it's very obvious you have done correct colours for changing. Man I wan't that party hatchet. As for the videos i couln't be bothered to load half of them. I liked the video of getting to the 702, to think that the player was only two levels above me. I don't even have guthans.
  9. Yep I'm meelllttttiiiiinnnnnnggggggg..... Nice piccy, love the kitten (aww, looks like my cat with paint on) the background doesn't fit though
  10. Paw claws got it perfect. It helps if the program's zoom function is easily accesible for fiddly bits.
  11. very... bright. It's too confusing, you need some simplicity rather than letting all hell break loose.
  12. I love the sun and the texture on the grass. The tree looks like a bauble though and the rock has no light source. Other than some tweaks, very good
  13. What you mean like giving it fingers. I'm very bad at fingers so i do these weird flipper shaped thingys. If you notice on my current one it only shows one hand and that's the wrong way round.
  14. Your mages' skirt is too wide and it looks very painful
  15. You have some sticking out wall, they need to have shadows behind them. It looks pretty cool, maybe add a green hedge next to it and make the gradient more smooth and thenb you'd have... A slightly better gate
  16. You need to add in some more visible shading or it will just look flat. Otherwise it's brilliant - You've got some very good proportions
  17. Now everthing's sorted you should ask a mod to lock this post.
  18. As I think everyone has noticed he is very flat due to no shading, use other peoples work as examples for things like shading and colours. Also the lower half of his leg is out of proportion and your character has no thumb (like cats) MEOW! For a first time this is very good. On my first pixel everything went very wrong, I overshaded my helmet and put no shading on all other stuff.
  19. i'd give 7/10. The main problem is that there's no texture to anything and the shading isn't hat clear.
  20. The background dominates ove rhte characters which seem to blend in with the floor. Your shading's also gone very weird. It seems very complex and hard to stare at for a long time. keep trying and you'll soon get into a good rythm
  21. I don't think nice is c/c but i'm glad you like it
  22. Sorry, but I don't agree with this. If you own Photoshop CS, there is absolutely no reason to be using MSPaint. Put it this way, If you had both a hand and a foot and your hand was better for drawing, would you ever use your foot to draw with? As long as you follow the "sprite/pixel rules" (ie: no brushing, filters, etc.) Photoshop is a very fine choice of program. Now, with that out of the way, great sig! The sky's colours look fab, the blending is great right now. However it's looking a little plain near the bottom of the sky, maybe some clouds or something could spice it up? (note: do things like this on a diff layer ;) don't wanna ruin your sky) Also you should try and clean up your lines, try to keep them at about 1px thick. The horizon line looks like 2-3px thick, which should be fixed. :) Lastly, don't forget to use some lighter shades & highlights on the rocks, and try to avoid pillow shading. :) Good luck, keep it up! To be honest I've never tryed using photoshop ( can't afford it ) and if you think it's best go ahead. I know there are quite a few of the top pixelers who use Mspaint Back to the picture: 1. The lines of the landscape are too thick - You need to make them thinner and maybe change them to a darker colour of the landscape rather than black. 2. The coal rocks' bases are too flat, to change that maybe you should go a bit wild and make them more pointy. 3. The light source of the coal rocks is in front of them, however the light is behind them. Only some minor faults, other than that it's a brilliant start and you should defiantely continue.
  23. Playboy, Adius Omega, Misterxman and more are all good pixelers at the moment. Some competitions go up to 10million and if you sold a premade you can get up to around 1million if it is top quality.
