  1. Yes. Well at least I think you do. See, I compare this to Social Security: a vital number that has everything attatched to it. But it's even worse than Social Security since it's (somehow) privatized. I cannot recall any similar mainstream systems: Passports, Driver Licenses, Employer Numbers, all ran by the government. You know, I think the weirdest part of all this is seriously just the government part. It sounds like Google's inventing a super-app that businesses can use to ID you, but somehow the governments involved in one way or another.

Pepsi > Saxophone Sectionals > Kingdom Hearts
  3. Wait, all these previous examples and tactics sounds like shooting from several yards...what kind of over-powered water guns are you using?!
  4. Add bookshelves, make furniture, add like a kitchen area, etc. Turn it into a house because thats what it look like from the first picture, not a castle. ...and that's way too many torches for my taste.
  5. This isn't a matter of people against inventions, its a matter of people jumping too easily in conclusions and then thinking they're an all-star debater. Nobody directly said they're against a password-rememberance invention, but I'm am so sorry if I offend you if I say grow some personal responsibility for your crap.
  6. :wall: [bleep]ing ridiculous.
  7. Yeah, after you loose a world you're better of just INV-editing for building. It's fun too, less grinding.
  8. No, that is 100% correct. It HAS simplified social interaction, but in the grand scheme of the world and it's history, that's really unimportant compared to the large potential market for businesses. And don't say anything about Facebook being evil because I never did nor did anyone in this thread. And about the losing passwords: PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Live with it.
  9. So what does the government have to do with this now?
  10. Depends if you're a communist or capitalist.
  11. But that's just the country, what about the city? For immigrants, you obviously want to live where there's more of your own culture there as well. Using my Los Angeles map: Monterey Park has lots of asians because it's like China Town: Chinese immigrants sticked with other Chinese immigrants. Etc, etc. Glendale, for instance, has lots of Armenian folk. The San Fernando valley has quite a bit Argentine folks, and East LA has Mexicans (big surprise!). Where as non-immigrant white folk (having generations of accumulative wealth) live in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, suburbs such as Rancho Cucamonga, Mission Viejo, and Costa Mesa. Which is why I love my home area (between Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga): a mix of races, immigrants and non-immigrants, rich and poor.
  12. You should of backed up your worlds... :-#
  13. Brown power ftw?
  14. Is it...dare say it? Squary? I would add a block at the corners to make it look a bit more circular, if you haven't done so already.
  15. I'm trying to find a tropical-island/cove type map with the Biome Mod since Hoodoo got a little boring. This mod's a [bleep] to get what you want.

Yeah, its pretty amusing that a debate on the Death Penalty always goes to a Lrn2Resrch debate.
  17. Not in the same context as 3D is widely used today. A movie made with 3D in mind is comparable to color, since making a movie with color in mind would mean no chocolate syrup as blood, since it has to be red somehow. What most movies did, is change the movies AFTER editing on them. Since it wasn't the original footage, it's harder to manipulate (even harder for animated movies) and thus why there isn't many '3D' moments in current movies that were caught by the 3D craze (because realize, it takes years to make one. What was cool one year isn't the next) Whereas a movie made with 3D in mind, it will be another step in the editing and effect department and thus more 3D moments can be added.

    So is time.
  20. Never! We need to cut taxes but conquer the world, because only by controlling it we can save it from global warming and force the Chinese to be our doctors which will be, by then, free.

  22. I've just read the early pages, they're mostly about sex. There's a lack of that in these later pages. Have we matured or do we just not have any stories to tell?! :c We've outgrown the 'Ever Caught Them' phase.
  23. What ever happened to 'ol Reb? He was a funny guy... I wish I was around for the era of Paperclip. Apparently his posts were awesome. A lot of tl;dr's though.
