I like the farming idea; I'll start working on that after 99 WC. :) Otherwise, I'll look into sinister keys since I've never heard that before (probably missed it while I took my last 6 month break), and I'm not too into the idea of dungeoneering atm. Thanks for your advice, everyone. :) My first question has been answered for now. My last question still remains - should I worry about how the free trade update might affect maple log prices?

Ok, but I should probably point out that at this moment, all of my skills are level 1 except for woodcutting, which will be 99 by the time I finally begin my plan for getting ready for 99 FM.

Still figuring out what to do for money for 99 FM; I won't be cutting magics anymore, but I still might want to xp so I'm thinking about what I'm going to do after 99 WC. Alright, so from what I've gathered - magics = bad idea. I should also clarify that my account that I'm using is a pure skiller so combat is out of the question. Activities like flax/spinning and gathering secondary herblore ingredients would be better. Ok I guess then that leaves my second question still unanswered, although I don't know if anyone could really answer it. Edit: Yes :)

So we all know that free trade is coming back. Well, I'm planning on getting 99 Firemaking after 99 WC, and my original plan is to cut about 3.5k Magic logs, sell them, and buy 90k maple logs after burning the logs in my bank already (which takes me to 72 FM). Then I would burn all 90k maple logs. The only skill I have right now is woodcutting, so cutting magic logs is what I believe is the best option for money right now. But here's my problem, with free trade coming back, I'm concerned about getting those maple logs at a decent price and now wondering how my magic logs will sell. And here are my questions - First of all, is this a good plan?(Answered) Second, should I be too overly concerned about how free trade might affect me on my goal to 99 FM? (My particular concern is obtaining 90k maple logs at a decent price.) Also, I'm a skiller and all of my skills are at level 1 except for woodcutting and, of course, constitution.

I would agree, unless maybe if they gave you the option to choose rather or not you want to only live once or die as much as you want, like Diablo 2's Hardcore mode, then it might be a little more interesting. But I don't think it would really work for a game that requires so much work to build your character. Hundreds of days could be wiped by a simple mistake... huge heart breaker in my opinion lol. If the rule did exist and I was still interested in playing, then I would never try hard quests or bosses like GWD. It would be too much for me. >_<

Playing GWD in the past, I've always blessed anyone and everyone's grave no matter what they were doing (crashing, fighting along, etc.) and have expected the same of everyone else while realizing that whatever I bring, except for my 3 most valuable items or 4 if I use prayer, I am risking to lose. After the update, I would still bless their graves but expect mine to be blessed less often by strangers simply because greed exists. I have, pre-2007, picked up people's things and pm'd them to return their items to them. If they're private is on friends and I can't talk to them, I would either wait in my spot if I can or just keep the items they dropped. That's just my stance on the subject.

January 21st, 2011: Added some more sections to my blog. In particular, I updated my project info, adding my plans for my next project. Starting up another semester at college next week so my playtime will decrease, but I'll try to keep working on my leveling. I'm particularly excited for Free Trade! :D I'm curious as to how that might affect my next project though, since I need to buy a large quantity of Maple logs for 99 FM... I guess we'll all just have to see how things work out in February. :P I hope everyone is enjoying themselves this winter! Feel free to talk to me online; my private chat is ON. :)
