I would suggest fleshcrawlers, floor 2 of the stronghold of security. Aren't they always packed, though? I remember they used to be filled to the brim with pures on every world back in the day :o

So I'm looking to train attack and strength for a bit. It has literally been 5 years since I've trained melee at all. I'm only looking to get those two stats to 60 right now—could anyone offer some guidance as to what the best monster for training is? The best thing I could come up with, using my outdated knowledge, is deadly red spiders on Karamja. Are there any newer, better monsters out for someone my level? My current stats are in my signature here, for reference. (Also, I don't care if the monsters drop anything or not :) )

Yeah I was wondering about Kameeru tbh; I remember he had boatloads of xp but I didn't bring him up cause he wasn't on the list. I wonder why he doesn't just send in a pic?... Miss you too Chris :wub:

The best F2Per whose stats have been verified within the past few months is Omke Henk, according to this. There are/were other maxed F2Pers (see here), but he has the highest total xp out of all of them, not to mention the information on those other accounts is outdated anyway.

Excellent work! =D> I wonder if there's a way to make a tooltip for each flag sprite so that if you hover over, say, Saira's flag, "India" would appear a little yellow box? Maybe that's more work than it's worth, but just a thought. :)

Haha yeah I can't wait :) I'm 100% behind the country idea. Having a little mini flag by the country would be cool too :) I might have some flag sprites that I can send you from back when I tried to have a National Heads of RS list.

Been a while since my last update:

I think most of the F2P discussion on TIF is being rerouted here now. I was a little surprised when I first read about that in the og blog, but I don't think it's anything to get upset over. Raising melee stats is generally a pretty easy task, especially when your levels are that low. 40 to 50 is by no means hard. ;)

Don't know about you, but fighting hellhounds all day would be... hell. Indeed it would ;) Just saying there are options, however unappealing they may be.

I'm anticipating this as well. I'd rather have fun with combat and pay attention than AFK. If you'd rather just AFK, please get out. I don't want Jagex worrying about the game taking "too much attention" and dumbing things down for AFKers. Hold on now, I never said I wanted it to stay the way it is now. All I said was that I'm expecting a shift to non-AFK combat to occur. For all I know, this could be a really neat and exciting change.

I'm anticipating this as well.

Just out of curiosity, what did you have in mind for updating the total lvls/xp? Asking people to post updates whenever they want, or specifically requesting updates on a monthly basis, or something else?
