  1. This is a great list for F2P level 3 skillers: http://peacefull.rsbandb.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=15439
  2. Haha i said that too when i started. You will regret that when you are half past. Speaking out loud your goals on forehand can be difficult when later friends are asking what your progress is. Lol. I've spent the last two years slowly working towards 99 Mining, so I'm used to impossible goals. Hear hearthat took me over two years. :D
  3. Yes indeed, I believe that was Artemk2005, who was incidentally the very first non-member to get 99 runecrafting.
  4. Hgreenblood is back on the hiscores (for all I know he's been back) and some of his stats were reset. Most notably, his magic xp has been reduced from over 150m to about 80m. Cheaters never prosper ;)
  5. This might have been brought up already, but is Arkhangelsk a legitimate pure F2Per?
  6. Add Lithuanialt9 to the potentials.
  7. Right, I was referring to n0valyfe. :P And yeah it didn't hit me that the level was his runecrafting; my bad.
  8. The xp he gained could have been p2p xp, or it could have been dungeoneeringI don't think we can really tell just yet since that's unranked. But indeed, this is truly a sad day. Next month would have marked 5 years since Mendark stopped gaining xp on his account. I guess it's becoming too easy for some people to recover accounts, if it happened to Chessy018, N0valyfe (and two other maxed players, according to the screenshots above), and now Mendark. Maybe they were simple enough to guess somehow. That's why all of my recovery questions are written in a foreign language not spoken widely at all by Runescape players, and even then the questions pertain to very personal things about my familythings that only myself or the family members in question, all of whom are adults with no interest in gaming, would know.
  9. Add Str Men39 to the potentials if you don't already have him. :)
  10. Nope, just added him to my friends list and his name hasn't changed.
  11. I'm actually in the process of getting 99 smithing with addy platebodies. AW is usefull before 88 (87 if stouting) but after 88 addy plates are your best bet. I bought my bars at 2250 and sell my plates at 9850 so it's -4.5 gp/exp @ 200k exp/h which is far better then AW. And with scroll of efficiency, that cost goes down to just under 4 gp/exp. Excellent! Thanks for that info. :)
  12. With all this discussion about the Artisans Workshop, I have to ask: in light of this new method of training, would I be obtuse to insist on getting 99 smithing with addy platebodies? I can easily afford itjust wondering.
  13. Cooking (Alexern, El Popo1, Kameeru, S Diamant Y) Deathkira95 also has 200m cooking.
  14. Grats to Pink! :) And also grats to Tezaki1, who seems to have gotten 120 dungeoneering on Friday and is now the second maxed F2Per.
  15. What if it's just for the 99, an achievement independent of the cape?
  16. I don't think all of them will be P2P. The veteran and classic capes can be worn by "any player" according to the dev blog, and when Jagex has used all-inclusive adjectives like "any" and "all" in the past, non-members have always been able to partake in that content so far as I can remember. I don't see them breaking that precedent here. Well, I don't see how some of the other capes, like the max and uber capes, could be F2P since you have to accomplish certain things in P2P to get them. Same goes for the Cape of 10s, which require you to have "a multiple of ten or above in all skills", which would naturally include P2P skills. All that considered, I think Jagex is stating pretty unambiguously that the other capes will be P2P. Moreover, I'm purely F2P and can totally understand what they're doing. As other people on this thread have noted, the extra capes for members (as with any "extra feature") is just a way to get more people to subscribe. When you're F2P, you learn to understand what you don't get and why, and to be content with the things you do get. Most pure F2Pers stay the way they are because they like the game for what it is. If it never changed, we'd still be happy. We've gone all this time without needing to show off our skills or status through capes, and we can continue to live on that way.
  17. Ah Gifted and Sun 2, glad to see old contenders getting back up there :)
  18. I did around 90-99 mining on PvP worlds, specifically Brazilian-language PvP worlds. I don't speak Portugese, but it doesn't make a differenceyou can still do all the basic functions that you'd do anywhere else. Honestly, I think it's an excellent idea and I highly recommend it. I did it for well over a year and never died once (and have probably been assaulted at least 80 times) because I kept about 4-5 salmon in my inventory at all times, and that was always enough to get me from the bank to the Mining Guild or vice-versa (I had roughly 58-60 HP). I have never seen more than 4 people there at one time (usually 2-3, but pretty often I'd actually be by myself), and anyone who does mine there is clearly not botting. And of course, the guild is a safe zone. :P tl;dr version: Mine in a Brazilian PvP world with some salmon and you'll be fine. Did you realize there was a big update on Feb 1st? There are no PvP worlds anymore... Oops. That's right. That really sucks.

  20. Actually you don't even get an extra (fourth) charge. The ER4 still only gives you 3. So unless you would take advantage of the food hamper in Lumbridge, or the ring's ability to superheat and high-alch a few times a day, then no, it's not worth it.
  21. You don't fill the urns with logs or any material you get from trees, rocks etc. Example: When mining Iron ores your urn will fill up at 2% per ore until it's full (100%) at which time it can be teleported and you get the 325 Mining exp. You will still have your ores in your inventory. The urn just gets 2% fuller with each Iron ore you mine. Ohhh, I see. I guess it would be better to just have one in your inventory, then. :P Incidentally I also learned that you can only have 10 urns for any skill at one time. I proved you wrong with my 30 mining urns. Unless it's some stupid f2p limit. Actually you proved RS Wiki wrong: But to be fair I didn't clarify that it was talking about non-empty urns, if that makes a difference. :) EDIT: Accursed ashes are the ones that are dropped by Lessers and Greater Demons, yay
