  1. Right-click on the rune options and do Make X. ;) Also, check out these great rewards if you haven't yet: http://www.runescape.com/c=Ei*knFia-Ug/kbase/guid/dungeoneering_rewards Most items up to the Gravite weapons are F2P. The coal bag and nature staff caught my eye immediately.
  2. Sounds like a wonderful idea to me; I'd be there in a heartbeat.
  3. You don't walk while rcing... just a correction. <_< We did in the olden days. :)
  4. For a week I was exclusively BHing. I would mine adamantite in the hobgoblin mine, then kill hobgoblins until I had 2-3 limps. I could do this 3-5 times before getting a target. I'm about 70% successful in killing targets, and about 60% successful in killing non-targets. I clocked the rewards to be about 400k-600k an hour... the key is that you can't die. You also use up resources (dying/food/potions) at a rate of 100-200k / hour. The only downside doing that in wildy, is rev would come by fairly often. With the hobgoblins method, I think I can get 300k gp constant without anything except range amours and a rune scimi (and like eat something when your hp drops a bit low). There are no revs in bounty hunter worlds. Or PvP worlds in general, if I'm not mistaken.
  5. You are right about Franzk being the first to 99 Prayer (and 126 combat), but I recall Artemk2005 being the first to 99 rc.
  6. Yeah Winh is an interesting one; they seem to be pure f2p (based on total xp) and he or she has probably been submitted to this list at least 4 times now, but they've been looked over every time. Either their f2p status is dubious somehow (maybe there is evidence of them on a p2p world like Amiricle) or they've really just been skipped over every single time.
  7. I think both ideas are excellent, and I support them wholeheartedly. :)
  8. Nice. :) But it looks like level 3 skillers can't do it, as the quest reward automatically gives you enough combat xp to hit level 4. This reward similarly ruins a 1 defense pure.
  9. Yeah, that would make reaching prayer goals a bit more reasonable.
  10. Dunno how many of you were aware of this, but apparently back in January Jagex did a minor update that affects non-members: they added a bank deposit box on the Port Sarim docks, in the area with the Entrana monks. I think if you couple this new box with the cabbage teleport of the Explorers Ring (3), lobbies or tuna/swordies might be even more worth your while. :)
  11. Pink: for Gaol, does it just say north of the Bandit Camp? Sorry to bug you. :-D
  12. Hm, yeah...Title Fight is unlocked in the Champions' Guild basement, according to the TipIt music locations; but the RSWiki says it's members-only and is obtained in the Champion's Challenge underground Arena. Looks like they have a few errors.
  13. For song locations, check the link I posted in my previous reply. It turns out I'm actually missing Gaol; I know it says "north of the Bandit Camp" but I have been ALL OVER it and cannot, for the life of me, figure out where it is. Pinkbullet, that's awesome!
  14. A bit off-topic but F2P-related: how many pieces of F2P music have you guys unlocked? According to this article, there are a total of 168 songs that are or were available to F2P at some point. I currently have 164; I can't get the remaining 4 because they're P2P areas and were only accessible to non-members via the now defunct Gnomecopter Tours. Looks like I got some from that time, like Dragontooth Island, but missed others like Background. Oh well. :P
  15. "Winh is 100% F2P based, with 158,857,044 F2P based exp, and 158,857,044 total exp." Seems fine.
  16. A few of my pure f2p friends and I already go to the "Lil Eka" clan chat. You're all welcome to come over there if you like. :) But if you prefer to start an independent chat, that's fine too.
  17. Is the weekend double xp thing for both p2p and f2p, or just p2p only? P2P only, but Jagex has said that F2P might receive bonus weekends in the future. I'm not sure the weekends are a good idea at all, though - it seems to be having drastic effects on the economy. For example, rares won't even sell on the Grand Exchange right now; you basically have to barter with items that are useful for the xp weekend, such as oak planks for construction, to get or sell them. I see lots of people with easters trading them for upwards of 100k oak planks. Items with high utility for the bonus weekend are in much greater demand than actual cash right now - I couldn't sell my santa hat on the GE for even minimum price, and my friend couldn't sell his green mask for that either. With the GE crossed out as an option for non-members to sell their rares, and most of them not willing to pay in cash since everything fluctuates, that only leaves them with the option of bartering with other useful items. Unfortunately, there's nothing more expensive than a rare in F2P, not to mention there aren't any items that will have "elevated utility" due to the bonus weekend, since we won't be experiencing it, so we essentially have nothing to barter. You're basically stuck with a rare and have to hope that this whole mess dies down without losing too much money in the process (I say that because rares seem to have been dumped yesterday; again, if you can't sell a santa or green mask even at minimum price on the GE after waiting a full 24 hours, something is up). I guess we should just keep tabs on how the most popular items fluctuate during (and around) the weekend and see how long it takes for them to stabilize and return to a reasonable price, assuming that they eventually do once it's over, to determine whether or not this is ultimately a good idea. EDIT: And santas dropped today like I expected. Green masks didn't though.
  18. Agreed with the first part, but I think you'd only be fine with it because you're closer to that req than most F2Pers on this thread. :P I enjoyed the 1k total worlds, they should keep those. But make 1.3k total or 1.4k total worlds for F2Pers. It's not going to be one or the other though.
  19. Agreed with the first part, but I think you'd only be fine with it because you're closer to that req than most F2Pers on this thread. :P
  20. From today's Q&A, Content Part 2: Q: When you released the new "1000 total level" worlds, I'm sure many people were pleased; however, you would think the purpose of these worlds was to get skilled players a world without noobs. Well, I think at least 90% of all the people on the F2P world are ex-members (all the skilled "non-ex-members" are on many different worlds, but there are always large quantities on world 61). The member worlds are almost the opposite of the F2P ones. It is not hard to achieve a total level of 1000 if you are a member. Would you please change the limits of the "1000 total level" worlds? A: After all the feedback we’ve received, we are changing them to 1500+ worlds. http://[Use Quick Find Code]/l=0/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?13,14,763,60415349 Is anyone else upset by this? Looks like now only the most elite F2Pers will be able to use the skill world(s) after the new skill is released. Sonic, what are your thoughts on this? :???:
  21. I think you'll face a lot of competition from other non-members/ex-members who are going there based on the very same logic. ;) Granted I haven't been to the hill giants in 5 years, but the Mining guild is crowded on world 113 a lot of the time too. I think that goes to show that restrictiveness actually encourages more people to use the area, since most of the people going there think that others won't go due to those very same limits!
  22. I think the credit card method has become unreliable for checking pure F2P status in recent times and is therefore obsolete.
  23. I don't think Jagex has set a precedent for that. :-o
  24. Really? I thought that it was 10k? Jagex has said as of Feb 1st that if two friends have each other added for at least 3 months, their base trade limit will be quadrupled. The maximum base limit for non-members is 10k, so I'm assuming that if two friends have each other added for at least 3 months, this amount will quadruple to 40k.
