315k xp @ 32 gp/xp vs 225k xp @ 13 gp/xp using option 1 for 315k xp uses one hour and 10m gp. using option 2 for 315k xp uses 1.4 hours and 4.1m gp so using option one saves 0.4 hours but costs an additional 5.9m. so it's worth doing if you make 14.75m gp an hour.

it is more expensive than black dragonhide but equally effective for ranging it is less effective than armadyl, yet has equal requirements

fairy rings are slower, though. for collecting mtk you would use a teleport scroll. the spirit tree on etc is convenient to teleport close to teaks to get approval up

ma teleport or duel ring puts you 4 steps from a spirit tree

Why? People quite happily do so IRL. The morality of it in the real world are just as questionable. It's an addiction that profiteers prey on. both parties are consenting, i don't see how there's any moral issue here. just because some people can't gamble in a responsible way does not make gambling inherently immoral, imo.

correct, the bonus xp lasted 10 hours for the second weekend. here is a graph of the xp multiplier for the second bonus xp weekend: very much so not continuous

that is what they SAID it would be. that is not what the ACTUAL multiplier function was. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Bonus_XP_Weekend/March_2010 there is listed the actual function used for the first weekend - which was NOT continuous and reduced by 0.2x or 0.1x every 45 minutes.

that equation was NOT used for either of the previous weekends.

about 1:5 to get a +3 boost or better
