for hip-hop lyricists it goes rakim, big daddy kane, nas, notorious big, jay-z and 2pac, and, to a lesser extent, ice cube, raekwon/ghostface/method man/odb/gza (pick your fave wu-tang member, tho most will say ghost or meth), black thought, eminem, krs-one and kool g rap, all in that order. bob dylan and bob marley are my all time favorites for any other genre of music.

lol hard quest the only fun ive ever had with quests were legends (on rsc, had to do it a week after it released since I was only like 36 agility the day it came out) and desert treasure, so they get my vote. neither of them were particularly hard but legends made me tele a couple times and DT was just plain cool.

also as a side bonus people who are too afraid to cut themselves irl can "feel" the pain through runescape and solve their problems that way.

but you gotta realize mages cant fight without runes, and expensive runes seriously hurts mage pking. atm its about 2.5k for each ice barrage, whereas melee is a 1 time price of a whip and rangers are 400 a shot, and 75% of the time they get those rune arrows back (or 250 a shot and never get those bolts back). cheap runes = more mages = more ahrims in wild = more expensive kills, less expensive to get those kills (y)

no ;\ viral sabre bought the first one from fir3g0d for 60m in items on these forums and then made a post about it in general p2p. im sure you could look those posts up up with the search button unless tip has auto pruning. edit: no you cant, that must have been in march and the oldest posts on these forums are from june.

you should change the recommended melee gear to veracs. other than that its a great guide.

wu-tang clan and fave producer is the rza or dj premier. but unfortunately no one even considers hiphop music so no one knows what I mean. on the rock side its led zeppelin as my favorite band (just because their whole career was good, not just some of it like metallica or incubus) and my favorite guitarist is jimi hendrix.

lmao u2's definitely got somes good songs from the 80s/90s but I really dont give a [cabbage] about green day. every single ive ever heard from them is just plain annoying.

their first 3 albums were real bangers, especially kill 'em all. im not too hot on later metallica except for a few songs, it just lacks that energy and killer guitar solos their earlier stuff had.

kanye west, common, outkast, the roots, the game, jay-z, nas, eminem and many others have come up with excellent albums in the past few years and are gonna be remembered as classics in hip-hop. not timeless classics like '36 chambers' or 'the chronic' that cross generations and genres of music, but genre classics like 'enta da stage'. yeah theres a lot of 1-hit wonders around in rap moreso than other genres of music, but they dont COMPLETELY bury the gems that I mentioned earlier. np: epmd - you gots to chill

Exactly, just wait until the right time to approach them. Using ice blitz or barrage first is great because it freezes them longer. This saves you the time that you would have to spend running around and also makes it more simple. Besides, those two spells are very fun to use. :D And actually, that is a zammy cape in my setup, not an obsidian cape. oh well then its a perfect guide, go you :P

For me, I will just barrage him the whole time, it may be a little more expensive, but I can kill him before he can move. If you can't use ice barrage or blitz yet, then you can just take an extra pray pot. Other times, you can just run and try to find one of the rooms with a safe spot (You can virtually use any rock as a safe spot if you freeze and run). or you can ignore him till you get to the chest. when you open it he'll appear and you can just play it like in the coffin room (freeze him then run around the chest). I can use the level 70 spell all the time and never take damage from the melee brothers, except when verac gets lucky and hits me before I can run behind his coffin. other than that great guide. only change I would make is take a god cape instead of obby/fire/legend cape for +10 mage aim and defense.

ZING ok so I used to make fun of all my friends names on rsc with newb chars. one of my favorites was "iamgopher" (I tried to get "whackoffdawg" making fun of whackadawg but that one was already taken), some char I made in late 01 making fun of iampenguins name. I never did anything with the char until mid 02 when they added the castle in the wild to f2p servers (making chars soley to collect runes at the castle and shoot them off killed so many boring hours that summer... but thats another story), and by then penguin had stopped playing rs nearly as much as he used to. good times training at hobs with pepsi 24 and trupimp with penguin tho 8) heres pics: that contact detail date is either exactly when or a few days after jagex added contact details to their database. Same here, but it ended up with the FBI at my house one afternoon...long story won't go there. We eventually got about a half hour of our best stuff and made a dvd of it complete with "bonus features" and I designed the whole cd case, theres about 10 copies floating around Southeast MI lol. I should make more. you should upload to that comp and get it floating around limewire. I'd love to see it ;) the best is when they zap their gooches... I laughed so hard :lol:

ok, ive got all the barrows sets except torag and guthan (since I dont slay and torag blows), and im wondering is it possible to do this without a guthan set? if it is, ive got a few questions: 1) verac + whip and obby shield or dharok + whip and obby shield (pray bonus vs higher def)? the range def difference between the 2 is pretty big but maybe the obby shield makes up for it. 2) has anyone tried mage? I mean shadow barrage could be really handy against the 702 since it'll hit the healers and lower their attack as well. id bring karils + karil bow too, but I dunno if itd be worth sacrificing those food/pray pot spots since I wouldnt have guthans to heal with. 3) any info on sara brews + super restores? ive got infinite supplies at hand really so cost isnt an issue. if its still not possible I guess ill just do it the boring way and buy a set of guthans for it, then sell it back when im done.
