  1. And the people who did tell them who were supposively spreading the word of "god" managed to kill millions and only make profits for them selves.
  2. [hide] Are you saying someone shouldn't have the right to question and challenge the faith of millions? Yet consistently on these boards, those who do challenge and question the popular beliefs get flamed for it. A little hypocritical, eh? I don't know what you're referring to. Let's see. I make a statement that goes against one's belief in evolution, which we can safely say to be the faith of millions. And look what happens. I get 5 posts within 20 minutes telling me I am nothing but wrong, and that my belief held by millions wrong by proxy. Haha, I thought it might come down to this. Believing in evolution is not faith Faith is belief in something despite lack of evidence. Evolution is a scientific theory based on fact. There's a difference and it's in no way hypocritical to have the right to challenge someone's faith, whereas challenging a long held scientific theory simply because it doesn't fit in with Biblical creation is frankly, ignorant. If you've got some facts against evolution, great, show them and you'll become world famous. But if you're challenging based solely on principle then flaming is inevitable. [/hide] +1, the fact that christianity cant be proved and evolution can, someone needs to whack them selves with a PWNED stick.
  3. He gained that right the second one of those millions tried pushing their faith on him. And in no way is he being hypocritical, he is not forcing anyone into this thread to read it, he is simply offering his opinions. So where in this do you get the right to flame his opinions? Well I suppose you do have the right as this is a free world...more or less, but if you claim that he does not have the right to question your faith, then why would you even consider to question his opinions which are also the opinions and believes of millions. One of you mentioned catholics as being extremely tolerant, if i knew you i would get right in your face and laugh it. Catholics aren't even allowed to marry non-catholics, in what way at all is that tolerant? Go ahead, you have the right just as he as the right to speak out against chrisitanity, but what would would this thread contain?: 1. Person speaks out against us. 2. Person doesn't believe what we say. Now do these compare to his problems of religion being forced on him?? Dont think so.
  4. I think that is pretty much it 8-)
  5. Yes but as i mentioned, usually from large galaxies pulling all matter towards itself... Yes the universe is expanding in all directions, but if there was a big bang, it came from a singularity so there has to be one point from where all the expansion began, even though it might not be the point from where expansion continues. Am I right? Baron, space on a large scale contains something, whether it be galaxies or dark matter, this void contains nothing at all. Space on a small scale is as you said just empty space, but completely different on a large scale. See my post, the concept of a "centre of the universe" is false. It's misleading to compare it to an explosion from a single point in space, since the Universe is space. And what if the universe is just one of many of larger spaces...
  6. Lemme point out that the void was about 6-8billion light years away from Earth, so its close pretty close to the beginning of the universe.

  8. According to the donut theory it is, but if there is a 5th dimension as the donut theory states, wouldn't a "bomb" or the singularity also expand into that dimension? And if by "go in it" you mean the middle of the donut? Well you can't, if you tried, you'd just return to the point of where you started.
  9. I'm surprised no one has posted about this yet... Researchers at the University of Minnesota have found a giant hole in the universe. Basicly, they found an area of space that is about 1 billion light years across that is completely empty space, no black holes or even any dark matter exists in this space. Finding voids in the universe is apparently not unusual, and are usually caused by near large galaxies pulling all matter towards itself. However no "hole" has ever been even close to being as large as the one recently found. With a void this large, and with the knowledge that others are formed by gravity from nearby galaxies, one would expect supermassive galaxies lining the area of this void right? Well, those expectations are wrong, the discovered void sits in an area of space known as the "WMAP Cold Spot" named for its low levels of back ground radiation from the big bang. So then what have we found, could it possibly be the famed center of the universe? When a large bomb goes off, the epicenter is devoid of everything as the blastwaves spread out right? Well then couldn't this be the "empty hole in the ground" of the universe? All words are my own using reference from MSNBC: Hole in Universe

IMO theres way to many words, and a background of somesort would be nice. The pixel character is pretty good.
  11. I personally like it, however the pink and the wood texture clash really hard. Is the wood a made texture or a picture? I cant tell... either way, I would suggest placing the sketch on a piece of paper, whether it be an actuall piece or paper, or rendered, and "nail" the paper to the wood.
  12. I like it overall, except IMO it is to busy around the render its self. The background is awesome in general, and the font fits well. If it were mine, i would add another 1px stroke on the outside of the actuall sig before the white begins.
  13. Still waiting on a word about whether this is going to happen or not.
  14. YW Albemisi Here ya go bllr:
  15. I really like it, do you? :-s
  16. Haha nice comics, I like the art, as well as the humor =D> :XD: . Only suggestions from me would be to not have the same shot as you do in both of them, in number one, the first and third are the same and number two, first and second are the same.
  17. Anything thats still a photo
  18. sacret- I cant use that image because it is not a stock image, you must pay to use that image, please find a stock image. woopidoo2- I dont think that he saw your post  Thruitall- none taken 8-) Alright well I've decided to open up the shop to all images, so Ill be editing the first post to make sure people know its open to all images now...
  19. So are we going to get this rolling or what? I can do what ever I need to to help in order to get this off if others want it to happen. ie start collecting urls of gallerys, but I need the official word on if its going to happen before I do anything.
  20. I really like your art! Fireswirl and molten are my favorite. Also really like #6 under the photo manipulations! And no offence... but the shooting suns... they look like pepperonies (sp?) :XD:
  21. Used the second one because someone else has already used the first one. Hope you like.
  22. There's not very many people on right now, so you must have patience. Also I'm not sure if the Gallery is the right place for this... waits for a mod :uhh:
