  1. Does the Salve Amulet work on the Barrows brothers? I tried it with Verac's and it didn't seem to help too much, but then again i only did 2 runs and i might have have just gotten unlucky.
  2. i can see a few things that confuse me or could be improved upon about your set up... number 1 is that you have no super restores. How can you use sara brews without super restores? number 2 is that you dont need so many brews as you can use guthans to heal on the weak ones and number 3, try using a crystal bow instead of a karil's x bow. it gets cheaper and cheaper every attempt instead of the same expense in bolt racks
  3. The most important thing to remembrt is that when you fail (99% chance of it, on first try), don't be discouraged. Try, try again.
  4. There's no loading music on low detail :D most annoying detail? the dust in the dusty well on high detail. it's ev0l
  5. I say we have an even cooler party at your RL house  hehe. Good luck on world 0, nubbins!
  6. We already have metal boots and gloves.
  7. Monkfish are the ultimate training food. A few days of fishing gets you several thousand, easily. They will last you a very long time.
  8. Well, imps are some of zamarok's minions, and the wildy is zamarok's land. So therefore, imps should be able to go to wildy.
  9. anything that automatically does something for you is illegal anything that modifies the rs client is illegal world switchers are technically allowed because they don't really help you anyway because of the 30 second rule but are not endorsed as they may be keyloggers. plus there's no such thing as a stat shower, or at least i have never heard of such a thing. probably a keylogger anyway. as a final note, it is highly risky to download anything related to rs except off the official rs site! so don't do it! Jagex has very good detection software, so if you cheat you will be caught, 100% of the time. please post in the correct forum next time.
  10. Technically Defenders are a weapon. If you ask the lady up by the cyclops room, she says it is a dagger with some def bonus, not a def item with some attack bonus. So yes, duel weilding is already implemented.
  11. wearing full ham for theiving hams makes a HUGE difference in how often you get thrown out of the hideout
  12. It's not just about the talisman thing, you know. This is an idea that would help a lot of people, and not be difficult to implement. I don't understand why you are so resistant to it.
  13. Does this looks like i'm agreeing? Take my name off the supporter list please.
  14. Tiaras would still be in use because some people would opt to use a rune ess pouch in that slot instead of a talisman for efficency. See i've got this all figured out :P And as for the whining, well no i don't see that, but i certainly see lots of whining about tiaras.
  15. i think what you're talking about is basically a combination of agility/theiving. Not going to even start on "new skill for f2p" part. In the future please post more detailed things than "we should have this", have some ideas for implementation, etc.
  16. you're not weilding them all at once. The point is that you can save a few extra inventory spaces, by carrying something else in the space normally reserved for arrows.
  17. The reason for the ability to carry a talisman is for those people who don't like the look of tiaras on their manly characters.
  18. the only noncombat items you would wear are talismans (for men who don't like tiaras) and and a rune ess pouch (1 more ess in inventory, yay, but in the long run is faster buy a decent amount) so, not much would change in terms of tradeskills
  19. You "proof pl0x omg" people truely bug me. You don't need proof, that statement has has been posted many times, and is indeed true. The last RS engine did not support 3 digit base stats, though with the new engine im not sure.
  20. Well i was thinking that since the arrow slot would just be like a area on your charactar like a quiver or a bag to hold your ammo, why couldn't that space be used to hold other things? Such as: A small weapon (dagger/short sword/defender) A small ranged weapon (knives/darts/shortbow) One stack of runes (my personal favorite) An extra potion A light source A rune essence pouch (small/med) A talisman (for those manly types who don't like tiaras) A God Book Another idea is that you could sacrifice both the cape and "quiver" slots for carrying and extra larger items like: A larger melee weapon (all the rest except halberds, gadderhammers, granite mauls, spears, and mjolnirs) A large ranged weapon (longbow, Karil's crossbow, crystal bow) A bigger ess pouch (large/giant) A sheild Wepons/Sheilds would appear either in a waist sheath (for larger one hand weapons) a hidden boot sheath for daggers (would be super cool!) or on the back for large 2h weapons, sheilds, and range weapons. When you weild a weapon directly from multi-slot to weapon slot, there would be a "unsheathing" animation. (can be turned off for speed purposes) Potions, runes, pouches, light sources, talismans, and books would appear as attached to the waist by means of a belt or cord/rope.\ The reason items such as food/herbs/others etc would not be able to be carried is well...think squished lobster guts all over. Not cool. Feedback please, this is my first suggestion. I've had lots of ideas so i'll probably post more if people like this one. ( i hope this hasent been posted before, at least not exactly the same, i did use search just so you know) :D
  21. It's just their own style. Some people are quiky and stick with the same world through thick and thin and others are nomadic. Reasons range from a common world with friends to a "lucky" spot or whatnot. And also people tend to stick to world close to their geogrphic location because of the "best world" feature and for best connection speed
  22. No need to be shy. Just say it: RuneHQ quest guides are simply better because they are much more detailed and specific.
  23. I don't support the banning/forcible name changing. I know quite a few people with so called "profane" names and they are very nice people. The reason they picked such a name was for fun, and that's what games are about, right? Personally whenever i see such a name i have a good laugh and move on :) Perhaps someone will bring up the argument that it will taint the minds of the kids or whatever. I say, let them see it, and often. It's only offensive if you make it an abnormal thing (which it shouldn't be, people should not see things related to procreation as bad, it's just part of nature for god's sake) Kids these days are far too sheltered anyway. However i do agree that making propositions of gf/bf should be an offense, in most cases (most cases being the leeching of items/money). This should count as two offenses really, one being offensive language and the other item scamming. However if someone wants to pursue a legitimate relationship (i.e. Laikrob and Golv, i think they are a really cute couple ) they should certainly be allowed to. : And i think i remember hearing about a mod saying that changing names is not supported by the RS engine anyway and they would not penalize people merely for having a weird name., unless it is racist or sexist.
  24. lol!!! check out this examine on zanik on the last part!
