  1. I wanna know that too... ROFL?!?!?   It looks sorta like... the hilt of a sword???
  2. That is awsome! Great job!
  3. Lol! The only thing is that it is bigger than the RS screen, but I like it. =P
  4. I love it! Great job! You might want to find a better font, though, this one's a bit blurry. Otherwise I'd say it's great1
  5. Hmmm.... Maybe in the main post simply say this: "Please note that this is not to offend anyone, and I only want constuctive cricism about the linework, not about about how this is offensive." It could work :)
  6. Yay! My second fake! Please check out my first fake (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=424524) as well. This fake took much less effort than my last one (I did it in about 15 minutes) so it's not as good as my last one. Again, I used MS Paint and no other programs unless you count Internet Explorer =P. EDIT: The image didn't work before because my upload server said I'd reached the max images!!!
  7. Thanks! ^_^ I used to think that too when I first got the program, but my step dad taught me how to do all this stuff so now I know, lol.
  8. Since it's a made-up word anyway, I'd say you can do what you want with it  No, no, actually I'm wrong. =P You are too, though, turbolasers IS spelt correctly and it IS a real word. I looked it up on Google, it's a weapon on Star Wars.
  9. Nice... I would use it as my wallpaper, but as Valentine's Day is over, well, maybe not.
  10. The 8's are too skinny. Fakes are supposed to look real (despite their name) so I suggest you fix that.
  11. Agreed. I am proud to say I am a Cathiloc, even though I don't take offence to this, I know other people will.
  12. I have to agree. After the people make REAL fakes you come up and give us a screenshot with a rapper over a player's torso. Fun.
  13. Yays! A reply! =) Yeah, I guess these programs are a bit expensive, but you have to admit, they're cheaper than Adobe Photoshop ^_^
  14. 14 views and not 1 reply... -sniff-
  15. Also I'm not sure if turbolasers is one word, you might want to look that up...
  16. Lol it's great! Jagex should make "SpaceScape" or something like that, great job!
  17. Ok, this tutorial requires two programs. I don't have the newest versions of them, but I'm pretty sure it's sort of the same. For this tutorial we're going to be using this image: The goal is to get the word "California" to be glittery once we're done. I'm going to try to make this tutorial as simple as possible. 1. The first thing you need to do is open Paint Shop Pro. On my computer (Windows XP) it's Start>>All Programs>>Jasc Software>>Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. It might be different for your computer if you use a different version. 2. Now copy the image we're using, right click, and select "Paste As New Image." Paste this image 3 times. It's very important there are three of them. 3. There should be a toolbar to the left of the window and at the top there ia a button with an arrow called "Pan tool." Click on this. There should now be a toolbar above that with a zoom. Set the zoom percent to "200%" on one of the images. 4. Now your image should be twice the normal size. Go back to the toolbar on the left and click on the arrow next to the "Selection" tool and select "Magic Wand." 5. Using the magic wand tool, click inside all the letters of "California." 6. Now go to the very top toolbar and click on "Adjust." Then click on "Add/Remove Noise" and then on "Add Noise." A box should pop up. Set the presets to "Default". Click the radio button for "Random" and set noise to 75%. Then click ok. 7. Now go to "File" and click "Save As." Name your image and then add a 1 after it. For example, I named my image "cali" so this part would be "cali1". Make sure you save it in a file where you know where to find it later. Make sure you save it as a GIF. 8. A window should pop up looking like the window below. Just click OK. 9. Repeat steps 4-8 on the other two images, naming them cali2 and cali3 when saved (or whatever you named them with a 2 and a 3 at the end.) You should now have this: 10. Once you're sure everything's saved, go ahead and close Paint Shop Pro. The hard part is over! Yay! But now you have to open up Animation Shop 3. On my computer, it's Start>>All Programs>>Jasc Sofware>>Animation Shop 3. 11. Done that? Cool. Now on the top there should be a tool bar. The first button is the "Animation Wizard." Click on that, and a window should pop up. 12. In the first window it asks a question about dimensions. Set it to "Same size as the first image fame" and click next. In the next box it asks about canvas color, set it to transparent and click next. In the next box there is a long paragraph that doesn't make much sense, just set it to "centered in the frame" and "with the canvas color." Click next. The next box asks you about looping. Click yes, and set it to 10/100ths of a second and click next. Now it will have a white box. Click on "Add images." Then find the file you saved "cali1", "cali2", and "cali3" in and open them. Then click next and click finish. 13. Now you should have a rectangular window that looks sort of like a timeline with all three of the images. Good, that means you did it right. Now go back to the top toolbar and click on the "View Animation" button. Now a new window should pop up and have a glittering image! 14. Viola! Congratulations, you just made a glittering image! If you did it right, it look like this: If you have any questions, please ask! If you find any errors or misspellings please let me know and I will fix them. Thanks for reading!
  18. Thanks! ^_^ I'm working on another one, not saying anything here, though. =P
  19. Hmm... try a different upload server, maybe? I think deviantART has some sort of thing where they don't work on other sites. Here are my suggestions: http://www.[ScamSite].com http://www.imagecave.com
  20. I erased myself nad then put the picture of the banker where I was. ^_^ Thanks for all your comments guys!
  21. Yays! ^_^ Actually, Sedridor from the Wizards' Tower is teleporting him to the Rune Essence, but, yeah, same idea.
  22. Ok, this is my first fake. So, yeah, tell me if you think it's good or horrible whatever. If you don't think it's that good, please telly me why because if you don't have a reason or a suggestion to make it better, and you just say "OMG ur fake is lyke soooooo n00b!!!!" it's totally pointless. For a little background information I did this on MS Paint (I have better programs, but they take so long to load =P). It took me, well, I worked on it for about an hour last night and a few hours this morning so I'd say maybe 4 hours. By the way please, please, PLEASE tell me if there are any errors in it so I can fix them. It's really important that they get fixed just for my own peace of mind. Ok, enough reading, here's the fake already: I personally think it's pretty good, but that's just me =P
  23. Noobs. Yes, they're everywhere, at every bank. Some macro. Some scam. Some just plain beg and annoy. Some search for love life. The point is, noobs have no lives. They were put in this game merely to annoy the heck out of all us good, honest players of Runescape. Now I know what some of you are thinking: "Not all level 3s are like that! How dare you accuse them just because they're new!" That's because not all level threes are noobs. Some may be, but I guarentee you most have just started out fresh and are looking to have fun and be succesful, not ruin your life. noob- Basically someone who is annoying on purpose, they want to get on your nerves, they might cheat or macro. They do stupid things on purpose even though they know better. newbie- Someone who's new. Simple as that. Alot of people are unaware of these definitions, and use the words improperly. I have almost never heard the word "newbie" on Runescape, a word that is not in any way offensive, it just defines the new and uneperienced. "Noob," however, is always used, and sometimes people just shout it at no one in particular for no reason whatsoever. It is always used for newbies, and commonly used by "newb-baiters." Newb-Baiter- Someone who follows innocent and lost-looking newbies around, calling them noobs, blowing raspberries, and just plain is being mean to new players. I personally think newb-baiters are idiots because, if they don't recall, they also started out as newbies. I mainly see level 20s newb-baiting because it doesn't take long to get to those levels, and they horrify newbies because they are so "strong" compared to them. So, let's review: A noob is annoying on purpose. A newbie is someone new. A newb-baiter is mean to newbies. Well, I hope you learned something from this article, as it was meant to help those who have trouble refraining from calling others noobs. Please feel free to make comments, and if you think something is wrong or needs to be changed/added, please post and I will do what I can. I can take constructive criticism. If you didn't like it, tell me what you didn't like about, don't just be all, "It was horrible, go rot in a hole." This was my first article, so please give me any advice you can. Thanks for Reading!
