Force spawning at barrows.
You take on Dharok in the tomb; he can always reach you there. Your best bet is to take on four in their tombs and the last one in the tunnel. That's how I've always done it and it's always worked for me. It's faster that way too.. but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Force spawning at barrows.
What are you teaching him? Every single Barrows guide that I've read, and experience from Barrowing myself, says to take on Dharok first, because he's the one that needs the prayer no matter what. Then you move on to Karil and Ahrims, because they're the second and third most dangerous. Then you take on the remaining 3, those you can handle without prayer. Why would you ignore a technique that saves yourself money? If you have a safespot, you won't need food, therefore you'll save money. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. And lastly, Dharok only hits up to a hight twenty or low thirty, if I can recall right. He hits just as high as the other melee brothers.

Force spawning at barrows.
1) how effective is this? Very effective. I've done it for many, many runs to spawn a melee brother where I want him, and it works almost every time. Sometimes you'll get him to spawn while you're trying to get to a room with a safespot; in that case, just keep running away from him and spawn him again until you get him in a room with a safespot. 2) If I'm wearing rune, will I be able to run to my safespot? Or will the brother hit four 20s on me while I run? You'll be fine. When you spawn him, it'll have a big yellow arrow above his head so you'll know he is there. Just run to your safespot and he most likely won't hit you. I've never died from it. Now I assume you're maging him while in your safespot? If so, then take off your metal armour first to speed things up. If you get attacked by one of the lesser creatures, then strap your metal armour back on a get your whip back out (assuming you're using one) and whip it, then proceed to kill your brother. 3) Assuming I have 70 attack, strength, defence, Magic and 43 prayer; Will I be able to kill Karil then Ahrim without using a potion? You should be able to kill them both just fine. I'd start with Karil, and pray on him. Usually I just let my prayer run out, because he'll nearly be dead by the time it does. I also don't pray against Ahrim unless I actually have leftover points. He can hit kind of hard, so be watching your hitpoints! Just wear the best mage protection you brought. 4) How often will ahrim hit me with 70 defence and Red Dragonhide? He'll still hit you. Probably once or twice for a 10-15 or so. Just eat and be careful. Try getting your Range up to 70 for black d'hide or even Karils top and bottom. They're very effective in Barrows.

quick question
If you've completed the Lost City quest, you can buy a Bone Spear from the weapons shop in the Dorgeshuun cave. That's through the Lumbridge basement, if you were wondering. Else you could buy them in a crowded members world, usually around Varrock east bank. The Blue Mystic hat is bought from the Magic Guild, which requires 66 Magic to enter (or 63 and a Wizard Mind Bomb). Alternatively, you can buy them from players.

Did you know.. ...that a long time ago, in RSC (and part of RS2 methinks) you could use any skull to complete the Restless Ghost quest. There were two skulls that respawned in the wilderness which you could use. But now, there is a specific "Ghosts Skull" that you have to kill a skeleton to get.

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Started off th day with a good old fashioned Dwarven quest! Got that done and had to leave. Came back to do a spot of slaying, and got 66 Attack, which I missed the screenshot of, and this: Got the Slayer off the last demon, first hit on the next one and I got the ranged level. Of course I clicked, unaware, to the safespot and missed the message. Oh well. Also on this great task, I've got my highest hit ever! Woohoo! This is at 60 Strength, potted and praying. :D Phew.. that's a lot in just one task! :) So that's what I leave you with tonight. And I guess nobody reads my blog really. Looks like I'm just keeping it for my own records! :(

Ghostspeak ammy
It's actually closer to Draynor now. Just head to Draynor and go south, it's a decent sized shack in between there and the Mage Tower bridge.

Did you know.. ...that in RSC, you could type in black as well? And if you used various color codes throughout your message while typing it, it would show up in those colors. But when you sent it, it showed up with the initial color and the rest of the color codes showed up?

Did you know that... ...In RSC, Jagex mods did not have the "Mod" in front of their names? Also, Andrew was infamous for standing on the Nature Rune Island in the lava maze and ranging people? Only other rangers could retaliate, because there was no way a normal character could get there.

Did you know.. ...that Runescape has had a calendar for quiet some time. If you don't believe me, go to the lighthouse and check out Jossik's journal. It has months and dates in there, and it was out far before these postbags from the hedges of which you speak.

MSB or Dark Bow?
Thanks salim, but does anyone else have an opinion on this?

weighting item.
Well.. you could go out into the desert with 50 mining and get a few chunks of granite. They have varying decimal weights, and it's easy to tell because it tells you how much it weighs in the name of the item! Try that out, it might make your research go by quicker. Don't forget your waterskins though!

Currently slaying Basilisks, one of my favorite assignments for Slayer. :D I'll be getting 44 Slayer off of this task as well! : Anybody read my thread anymore? If you do read it regularly, tell me! I want to know..

MSB or Dark Bow?
I know that the MSB is probably the most popular Ranging weapon for Barrowers, but what about the Dark Bow? Has anybody attempted using it at Barrows? If so, how did it turn out? So the question is, which would be better to use at Barrows? A Dark Bow or MSB. Disregarding price, just talking effectiveness here. Here's the comparison: MSB vs. Darkbow Thanks in advance! ~Lunar

Wizard Mind bomb??
I couldn't tell you. But the best way to find out is to go drink one yourself. :XD: Amazing idea, really, but it works. Go test it out. You can buy one at the Rising Sun Bar in Falador.

How do you make Dragon Arrows..
You make them just like normal arrows. Attach the feathers to the shaft, the headless arrow to the arrowheads. You have to either hunt down Dragon Implings, or buy the heads off of other players; the first being better and cheaper. Dragon Implings require 83 Hunter, or 80 with a pot methinks. As for a good money maker.. I don't know.

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Ah.. so what an eventful day. I started off with some good ol' Slayer, not much to tell about that. Got a few decent tasks. In all, I got 63 and 64 Attack, 64 Hitpoints, 42 Slayer, and 62 Ranged today. *Phew* I got 22 Farming from saving the goblins in RfD as well. In between everything, I got up to 31 Herblore. Found the hidden stash of chocolate bars and dust in the Grand Tree.. darn Gnomes were hiding it. Also tried my hand at Gnome Delivery.. not too speedy, myself. I managed to not spend all that much money today as well. Still got a sizable cash pile in my bank. But I'm off for now, not much creative juices flowing this late. Or early.. Whatever. G'night! I leave you with my questing outfit: ~Lunar

I've always wanted to play RSC again.. Anyways.. Did you know... ...that when the switch from RSC to RS2 was made, many people jumped one or more combat levels due to the change in the experience and combat formulas?

Did you know... ...that you're wrong? Heh.. there was a Dwarf that had set up shop (in the Dwarven Mines I think) and sold the Disks of Returning for a few gp. You spun the disk to go into the place where all the banned people go. It was just an empty black space. They took it out because people dropped their disks in there and would get stuck, even though they weren't banned!

Forfeiting option in duel arena?
Just run to one of the hatches on either side of the arena, you can leave through one of those.

Did you know... ...that in RSC, a glitch was discovered through a popular autoing program of the time that allowed females to have beards? ...that in RSC, men and women were essentially anatomically equal? I'll spare mentioning how they differed to save the immature giggles. ...that in RSC, dueling was allowed anywhere? The "Duel Arena" of the day was Lumbridge, because when you died, you were teleported to Lumbridge (where you go if you die normally). It was also commonly used as a free teleport back to Lumbridge, similar to the Home Teleport we know today.
