Well at the moment its really just for the XP as I know if I work long enough I can actualy profit (although it will take quite a while). I would love doing the half coal thing for the blast furnace but the problem is you need a group. I dont have any member friends and even if I did is it even practical to get a group of 5-9 people together everytime?

Wow I just calculated how much I will make with the 18002 bars I have right now :) Over 2 mil. Probably going to go member as soon as school ends as I am also still training for staking in duel arena.

I'm very patient....Mining 1500 iron straight tested me enough. This can't be that much worse. Whats the price range of cannonballs?

Alright as of right now I am F2P and have done the following: 1. Mined 400 coal and 200 iron myself. (al kharid - chasm mine) 2. Smelted into bars in al kharid 3. Sold bars for 600 each (fally east bank - world 3) 4. Used all money I made to buy COAL 5. MINE MY OWN IRON = to half the # of coal I purchased. 6. Repeat Process *Although this increases my steel bar # by 1.5x each round (ive done up to 900 bars) it is getting very slow to mine my own iron and if I buy it it would decrease the multiplier of my bar stash. And smelting xp is very litte. So I was thinking of switching to P2P over the summer. What I need to know is do people buy cannonballs (easy to sell?) (in mass or small #). I would like the extra smithing xp from making cannonsballs as it would double the level rate at which I am increasing right now. I DONT WANT TO MAKE STEEL PLATES AND ALCH THEM FOR 2 REASONS. 1. I would lose money so I wouldnt be able to make more bars. 2. I dont want to alch because it doesnt raise your hp level.

Either get runecraftign up very high or like the person above me said fishing. I am doing mining but until you get to rune ore its not that profitable as the acompanying smithing lvls required for smelting and smithing the ore are way harder to get.

Honestly dude since your P2P get your smithing up. Seriously you guys have way better and cheaper methods of smithing and if you get it up high enough you can make some really good profits. Ive been playing for a month (f2p) and have gotten 50 smithing so far aiming for 85 as a longterm goal once I get P2P in June. Although runecrafting is boring it will really help leveling it once you get some good multipliers on runes. You can sell them for a hefty profit to. Mining more or less wont make you too much money but an easy way to train it is to just powermine iron and drop it for a few days. Get herblore up and make pray pots or super strength/attack.

I am one of those people that desperately wants every hp level I can get so I would recomend you to use any offensive attack preferably Fire bolt/strike. They need loads of chaos (which sadly arent readily available in F2P but since you have quite a few in bank I say use em for that) Curse wont get you any Hp Xp nor will Teleing or Superheating. If you don't care about hp then do whatever you want but firebolt is funnest :).

Thanks a lot. Since I want to become a staker moreso than a pker this is how I understand what you just told me. Get my attack as high as I can with my strength below it? SO my build would look like Attack:80 Strength: 70 Range: 70 Magic: 55 Prayer:31 (to get 15%+ strength) NonCombat Skills:.....doesnt matter. Is this aproximately what you were refering to? And what would this character be using range, mage, or melee? or does it depend on what opponent your facing? Do the terms of battles affect which type I use as well for example stand still and moving around?

Alright here is my problem. Here are my stats below. At the moment I am F2P and I want to raise my stats to the point where the day I join P2P I can start staking. Right now I have 500k but I am willing to get and spend a lot more to reach my goals. I want to eventualy turn into a staker (possibly a pker). I dont want to start all over by making a new account so I want to have advice on how to proceed with the stats I already have. Some Questions I would like answered: 1. Is there any specific stat or stats I should raise to become a staker? 2. What should I train and where should I stop? 3. Where should I be raising this stat(s) 4. How much will it cost me to reach that point? 5. Is there anyway that my current non-combat skills can help me reach that point? Is there a non-combat skill lvl I should reach in order to make money to fund this mass training objective? 6. What equipment should I be using and how much will it cost. 7. What is the formula for Calculating combat level? I would like to be able to train my other combat stats as high as they can without raising the combat lvl by too much (I have heard ranging is good). Please Note: I do not want to know ways to train my combat without raising hp. To me hp is a good thing worth raising your combat lvl over.

^I found it a lot better to do what I am doing right now. Start of with about 200 bars (mine or buy your oars doesnt matter) Sell them for 600 gold each (easy in world 3 fally east bank) Now you can either buy more coal or iron (more than you origonaly had) Or you can do what I do which is just buy coal and mine your own iron so you can higher your mining level at the same time. You will multiply your bars by about 1.5x each time.

What kind of stats Do I need to do the Dragon Slayer Quest. Currently I have 41 strength 42 attack 41 defence 40 range 38 magic 28 prayer 57 mining 49 smithing 42 fishing ect. I know I am not strong enough yet just give me some goals I should acheave in each category. Also what kind of equipment should I have. Currently I am using an addy plate body, rune scimitar, about to buy a rune kite shield, about to buy a rune helm, and about to buy rune leggings. Should I get anything instead of what im about to buy or is there something better I should strive for? Thanks for your help.

I got free addy plate (G) and addy legs (G) from my friend who had quit runescape long ago and gave it too me just for answering a trivia question.

I'm not rich like you guys so the best thing I can think of at the moment is Full addy (g) set. Looks tight. I'm still missing the Kite and the helm though.

Yeah I have one but but my stuff is so bad its not even the hackers time looking at it. The best Item I have is probably a Addy plate armour (G) and 30k.

Alright well that answered almost all my questions. High alch and teleport I need a high lvl magic so im screwed there. I'm going to start rune crafting....To bad I dont get any of those poutches. If a friend drops one can I pick it up?

And how do I use this high alchemy that turns my weps into gold? is it members only? If a friend drops one of those pouches can i pick it up?

Just to add on to teleporting. So I just need the runes and i automaticlay get the spell. Is there anything else I need? Wheres a good place to train magic? Should I start mining rune essence or continue making steel? What lvl can i wield myth or addy pickaxe im using steel right now? What can gold rings and necklaces do? I noticed theres a slot in the weapons slots so do they give bonus'? Should I sell the gold or make jewelery can sell it? Where can I start leveling up magic. The teleporting sounds like it can save me if im about to die.
