Games aren't all about graphics, personally I would still play World of Warcraft if it had graphics like Runescape. That's why I didn't quit playing Runescape (Classic), the graphics weren't great, but I enjoyed the gameplay. There are many appeals that World of Warcraft have, that Runescape does not, such as: -Better Graphics (if you are someone who plays games for graphics) -Better community (this is very debatable, my friend says she does not play WoW anymore because she saw too many naked dance parties, I have yet to see one. But i enjoy the community more, mainly because there are no people following me around asking me for free stuff, people just don't do that in WoW) -Better PvP System (the system is based on honour points, when you kill someone you get honour points depending on how much damage you did and what level combat they were, if they are much lower than you in level wise you will not get any honour points. You then get ranks based on how much honour you had got that week killing players. The PvP also requires skill, unlike in runescape when you sit and watch your character fight, then occasionally click a shark, or a potion. When PvPing in WoW you will need to use your skills you have obtained, if you don't, you will never get any kills, and will also BE killed) -Theres a choice of playing on PvP, PvE, RP servers (if you are not someone who likes to fight other people, you play a PvE server where horde and alliance cannot attack eachother in any zone, unless it is in a duel) -Guild or "Clan" System is Better (there is actually a system in WoW for Guilds, where you join the guild in game, not on a different forum, where no one can recognize that you are in that guild, unless you are widely known as a member) -Bosses, Dungeons (Instances), Quests (The bosses on WoW actually take awhile to kill, they are huge compared to your character, which makes them intimidating. Unlike in Runescape where the top boss (KQ) can be soloed, and is about 3x your size? There are also dungeons in WoW called instances, there creatures there are elite, so depending on your level you almost always need a group to go through the instance. It is kind of like the King Dagg trip, getting to the King Daggs is like the dungeon, then the bosses at the very end. Of course it is more challenging, and much longer. The Quests also I find are alot better. There are thousands of quests everywhere, some of them elite, some of them instances, some of them just normal quests. They are both challenging, and fun, even at the lower levels, which is more than I can say for runescape (3 minute quest collecting stuff to make a cake? BAH) The drawbacks to playing WoW over Runescape is the monthly fees, which are 3x the ammount as Runescape fees. But personally I will gladly sacrifice 10 bucks a month to play such a great game. FYI the story about the person getting level 60, dieing and losing all their experience points? That is a very bad rumour, because you don't lose experience points when you die, you only lose durability on your armour when killed by monsters, not by players. Which is kind of like Barrows armour ;)

Ive always wondered why Jagex had never made a cape for the Heroes Guild. For me, having completed the quest to get into the guild, was a big accomplishment for me. But when i had got inside the actually guild, i was very disappointed. Nothing spectacular, nothing to show that you are a member of the heroes guild, besides if someone sees you walking in the guild. If Jagex were to make a Heroes Cape, i would probably wear it instead of legends cape (when Im not wearing my fire cape, like for King Dagg trips, pking, etc.) if I ever did come back to runescape. Mainly because I like the idea of being a Hero over a Legend :P

Is that the one where the guy says "I like firemaking, I buy my logs and burn them....firemaking" I love that one ^.^

I think it looks very very very stupid. Why does jagex continue to ruin things? Yes, the new prayers are good, but they look very out of place, they eye and the pyramid colours are very different compared to the old prayers, which makes them look very stupid. And now you have to hold your mouse over the prayer so it says what it is, personally I hated that when they did that to the stat page, and I hate it for the prayer page

Witchs House, then soon after The Fishing Contest. Then I did like 4 more that day (btw this was RSC), the day before I got members I went to a website and read tons of guides of quests, deciding which ones I was gonna do when i got members O:)

When I played Runescape it was mostly lower levels who were extremely rude towards me. They would follow me asking me for free stuff, I don't reply to such demands, but after not replying for a couple minutes they call me a noob, or worse names and run off? Just because I dont want to talk to someone who wants my items that I earned makes me a noob. There is also alot of people being rude in the wilderness. They flame you constantly on how you pk, no matter which way you do it. You pk above edgeville, you get flamed for safe eating because you eat at above 30 hp? Personally I like to continue the fight and not be koed, just because they call me a safe eater doesn't mean Im gonna lower my hp level that I eat at. If you are a lurer, you will get flamed, because its one of the most "worst" ways of pking that you can do. If you pray so you don't die you will get flamed, if you run away from someone no matter how outnumbered you are you will get flamed, if you log to save your stuff you will get flamed for being a pixel lover. Before I quit I tended just to ignore these people, they are just trying to get a reaction out of you, if you don't reply they look stupid and eventually will shut up.

This is how I basically organized my bank before I had quit (in order how they appeared in my bank): Coins Rares/Treasure Trail/Half keys Melee weapons/armour Range gear Mage gear Runes Herbs/Farming materials Then it was all kinda random :P

I would never want it, too many people would follow you when they saw you. And its bad enough that when your 100+ combat you get all these people asking what armour you have on, or if they can have money, or free stuff.

When those arrows appear on the ground they are not yours anymore, once they appear to everyone they are up for grabs. It would be the same if u threw santa hats and u didn't pick it up in time, someone would obviously grab it. If you can't kill the monster in the time period when the arrows only appear to you, then it's your fault, not theres.

Not every age group can play runescape? Where do you think all the begging in runescape by low levels started? Why do you think it's continued? Why do you think whenever you say no to one of these beggers that they call you a noob, or very poorly typed insults. Why do you think jagex are very strict with the no swearing policy? Because these younger children abuse swear words while in games, thinking it makes them seem "tough". Runescape is filled with these young individuals, especially on f2p because they cannot afford to pay for members, or their parents will not pay for it for them.

There is no skill to runescape, it only time and patience basically. Thats one of the reasons i quit runescape, ALL you have to do to get higher level is sit there, watch your character fight monsters, sometimes clicking a lobster or monkfish to heal. Thats about it. There may be some skill to pking and such, but very little skill is actually involved, its more luck based than anything.

The reason why there isnt these big bad monsters in runescape is because its a java based game ;). Besides, if there was a monster that required 20 people to kill and it dropped new dragon item or weapon or something, then all the lower level players who cant kill it would be pissed off. Yes they still get pissed off now but if a team of lvl 70 goes and kills the kq, they can do it with a big enough team, but with a monster that requires 20+ lvl 110+ people to kill, they would probably go cry in a corner. The price of that particular item (lets say it would drop a dragon full helmet) would be outrageous. It would start at probably close to 100 mil, then maybe drop to half that and probably stay there for awhile because of the magnitude of the monster and the required skill, also how dam hard the monster is. If you want to fight bosses of that size, then go play World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Guild Wars Factions, or maybe once Guild Wars Nightmare comes out (which I am indeed intending to buy ;)), etc. Furthermore, the monsters right now are good enough. Yes they blow compared to those big time games out there, but you also have to either download them, or buy them from a CD, and they indeed do NOT use java.

When barrows first came out I bought full verac because I liked the look of it, I wore it into CW and a group of lvl 70s called me a crossdresser because of the skirt. When the verac special effect was known I later pmed them and laughed. Personally id like to be a crossdresser with a special effect of hitting through prayer :lol: :roll:

I would like to see the old combat system returned, the 3 rounds of combat before you can leave the combat. Also the old mining/fishing/wcing where when you have a full inventory of something, you wouldn't have to bank or drop the stuff in your inventory to continue skilling. But it would just drop automatically :\
