  1. None of either, but will have woodcutting and fletching capes. :P
  2. Females look more dangerous in certain outfits than men. :o
  3. Today I got three Drill demons, and a few days back another one. In the last 5 days I also got 2 Freaky foresters, and saw lots of people getting Mollies and Evil Bobs. I was fletching, but I don't think that was the reason for these. Has anyone else had similar things happening?
  4. As I don't train strenght alone, I use whip and controlled.
  5. Wealth + glory. +10 att, +3 def and +3 pray and +6 str own +10 str. And I'm pretty cautious, I take life for boss monsters in quests, but don't normally need it because I'm pretty cautious. :P
  6. Many times, not lately but nothing special about it, happens every now and then.
  7. That pretty much sums it up, and remember to use the Help & advice forum. :)
  8. 1. Woodcutting at 90, wcing owns. 2. Fletching at 75, comes with woodcutting. 3. Hitpoints at 74, rather self-explationary. 4. Ranged at 71, ranged is more fun than melee. 5-8. Firemaking and melee skills at 70.
  9. I actually never have it off (unless I'm pissed off from the instant "Dude has logged out, Guy has logged in") messages. Normally it's on friends.
  10. Actually, 12pure34, I see that your opinions/statements make much more sense now. When I see something you wrote, I didn't reliaze before that it actually makes sense. I shoud be ashamed now. About that money/experience/fun thing. I've noticed it, many people just want the money. Others want exp. I don't think many do it only for fun, but there's a point too. There's some people who do it for fun and money, others for money and exp, and so on. And I think everyone finds a bit of fun in it too, even if they were doing it only for exp and money. Me, myself, do it for all these reasons. I think it's fun. I love the money flowing in (never enough of it!), and the experience, gotta love it. I was a bit dumb at first, but you can't say collecting items yourself is dumb, like you said, sometimes it might be wiser to buy, but still be more fun to gather the items yourself. Different people gather their items with different ways, and different motivations. Sleep >!
  11. I'm doing exactly like in your example. I'm chopping yews, fletching them in yew longs, then cutting magics, selling them, and buying flax. Making it into bowstrings, and then mining/buying essence. Yes, I didn't say I don't buy anything, I buy things that just aren't worth the time. Then I'm making them into nats, and alching. I only buy the things that aren't worth gathering myself, one exception are monks, which I cannot get myself, but will get them myself too, when I can. I see you point; gathering ALL materials by yourself isn't worth it. I don't still think you buy ALL the materials needed either. There is a certain line between what you should get yourself, and what you should buy. kthxbai PS, didn't eally think during my first post, ignore it.
  12. I think I mistyped something. I don't pick flax myself, as I said in my earlier post. I buy my food myself (used to catch lobs tho), and SOMETIMES buy my ess. Everything else I gather myself. Ores, logs. Stuff. Your opinion is that collecting raws by yourself is dumb. Okay, it's your opinion. You might make more money by hour, but I'd rather get the exp than 50 gp more per raw material. Sure, gathering materials takes time, but doesn't all skilling take time? You could say collecting materials and selling them is dumb too, if collecting them and keeping them by yourself for your own needs is. :anxious:
  13. Whah? :o :x I always try to collect all my raw materials myself, with a few exceptions (training food, monks, which usually go for training non-combat that you need food on, like agility and thieving. Flax is another example). This is simply because I make more profit if I'm going to sell the items I collect myself, and the main reason, EXPERIENCE. I cannot see how you think gathering your own items is for por and low levels, your post was the second most stupid post I had ever seen (the first one was the one where a member said fre players should have a level cap of 40). Buying raw materials is for the lazy ones, they only lose money and experience.
  14. I have noticed this too, skillers are often more mature, than those level 100's with 1300 total and low defence. I love defence, and think farming and herblore is fun too. I try to act maturely and be nice and helpitive (sp?) to everyone. I must say, pretty often I see people completely opposite than me, I just hope they'd leave. /brag pls :-$ (Not all with low total and defence are jerks tho!)
  15. I remember selling them for 220 ea under a year ago. Only good for me, altho I don't sell them for money. :P
  16. I was fighting the three guys in the final fight of Legends, with sharks as food. I was at about 40 hp, and ate a shark. A sec after it, I got a c-lost, my feelings were like "OMG!" "NOO" "WTH" and "WHY ME!". When I logged in again, I had about 8 hp left, would've lost 2,5m+ in items if I hadn't eaten that shark. There was also that Neziwhatever demon walking around, not aggressive and I couldn't attack it. It was the biggest relief ever; I didn't want to go back cutting magics for money and getting all those quest items back. This happened about a month ago, I think.
  17. Willows may be better exp, but yews = !
  18. I remember hearing that some mod once said the they DO have their own Bob there. I'd love to meet it irl. 8-) Never met the pixelated Bob tho.
  19. One cockatrice head, which I got after like 40 kills.
  20. Does everything have to be there for a purpose? I love my green satchel.
