Obviously, the linework could use a little improvement, but that will come in time, it's not something you can just 'fix up'... Abou your shading though, you look at the character and it's got two diffferent light sources? The shirt is shaded diagonally as if the sun is on the ground (to the guy's left)... And the pants are shaded as if the sun is below him aswell... i said it because i love him. I've always though you were a boy :? :P

That, is truly, one of the most annoying comments I've seen this year on TIF... You don't expect someone to make you a free sig (that would take many hours, maybe even days) just cause they are in your group/clan/team/etc... On a side note: Teargod did NOT rip a sig from some noob on RV... He ripped a sig from Stoked, who I believe still participates on TIF... On-Topic: Very nice sigs Sancho!

Please name the 'stuck up abstract sigmakers' you speak of, as I don't see many, unless you speak of one incident in which they aggravated you... And the 'crappy pixel artists' are amybe trying to improve? I mean, doesn't everyone start ot crappy and get better by working alot and improving? But anyway, cya, gl and hf at DeviantArt. P.S. So it wouldn't look completely ripped? I mean, no1 but pureleader noticed this ripping, where as if he ripper work from say a well-known and more talented arrtist, he would have been spotted very soon...

^If this is true, Systelvl you are an idiot, for ripping images and naming them yours, and for taking our CC for a ripped sig.

The linework on the left guy is nice. The linework on the right guy is a bit disapointing in comparison to the left guy. The left guy has nice body structure and realistic phsycial appearance, whereas the right guy looks to be a bit stubby (shorter than left guy, yet wider then left guy). The shield on right guy is fairly good. Nice scenery (Icy tone to the sig, with a night sky and nicely-drawn cabin). ColourChoice could be improved and adjusted. For example, I believe you were planning to achieve a cold night scene. Now, while you've got the cold tone going, it's quite difficult to believe that the scene is in the night, as the 'blue-green' colours you have used are too bright and contrasting with the sky. Keep in mind, moonlight is not 'that' light. Shading could be improved. What are the miscellaneous objects/shapes on the ground? The blue polygons... There's some CC, thanks. Why does a pixel sig have to be drawn my mouse to be a pixel sig? :? What does the term 'pixel' have to do with computer-drawing, rather than hand/pencil-drawing? A pixel sig is not a sig drawn and shaded on the computer. A pixel sig, is that. To be made and worked on pixel by pixel. The importance of each pixel, equalling the significance of another. How the sketch of the line-work was made, has nothing to do with pixel'ing...

Yes, it does look better, but you should add some texture tot he grass and maybe add an animal or something? Cause it looks a bit plain atm... Btw, your sig's too big... The top image is 315 pixels wide... :wink:

I second the thought on Graphics Gale... However, it does take getting used to... After that though, it's awesome 8)

He means tools that already have the feature (shape/texture/object/etc...) made for you... For example, the circle tool.

In 4 of those sigs, you've used the exact same face, and only altered the position of the eyebrows... The hair, eyes, mouth and face is all the same, and the eyebrows slightly refined :? Aside from that, I like your style and concept.

That was the most insane comment I've heard this week :shock: Firstly, he didn't even apologise...He doesn't even know he did something wrong... He hasn't even thought about his mistakes... He said, that he believes he had the right to steal it, "because it sucked"... What does this have to do with anything? Regardless of the quality, stealing is illegal and punishable... Oh and, by the way, what do you mean "so what if he stole 1 sig, why shouldnt we give him another chance"??? Cause, um, that's pretty funny... You know what, why don't we all go steal 1 sig each, and we can each be given an extra chance... Sry, I'm not trying to start a flame war, but seriously, you're speaking as if it's ok cause he only stole 1 sig... You're speaking as if it's ok cause he deserves an exrtra chance, as if the first sig is completely forgivable... In my opinion, 1 sig stolen, or 10 sigs stolen, you're still a ripper,a nd there's no such thing as a "second chance" to rip sigs... What really annoys me though, is that he still thinks he was doing the right thing... Still won't 0wn up to his mistakes...

Now, a few positives (CC): I like the mini-torches... They probably could be improved but they look cool as it is... Awesome dragon, probably cause it's drawn in a style I like, but it also just looks unique... The guy on the ground, did you draw him? Cause if ya did, that's good too, I wouldn't know how to draw at that perspective/angle... Awesome ranger and nice concept to the artwork overall... Unique and well-thought-out idea... Now, a few negatives (CC): The 80+ combat and 70+ range are a bit hard to read, although the effect you were going for would have turned out nice (engraving/blending). I just think you sort of have to squint a bit to read it clearly... Maybe add some emotion to the dragon? Casue if you compare the ranger and dragon, the ranger is all tense and precise, accurately arching, etc... Where as, the dragon's just sort of still and motionless/emotionless, kno what I mean? He looks a bit stoned :oops: That's all for now, gl in his comp (it's still going right?) :D

:D, thanks I've been practicing, and I want to stock up on a few more premade sigs before opening a shop. And I think the key to my improvement is my patience. People take like 1-3 hours to make theirs. And I take my time long long long :D. Also these posts really help me every time I get c/c and fix the sig it looks better. Especially for the first sig. I thought that big headed round-eyed- cartoony style looked cool, but apperantly people hated it. I did a major change in style and without that my sigs would prob still suck. And like most people my sigs start as sketches in my math notes, which in my opinion look a lot sexier on paper than on the computer :lol: . *sigh* if only I had a scanner :( :( :( :(...but than again we are close to christmas :D Dat's what I like in an artist... Someone who asks for some Constructive Criticism and actually USES it. Bout 90 % of the people on this forum ask for ratings and CC and just take the advice as any old comment, whereas like 10% actually change the sig every few posts, adding in and/or changing the things that people gave as CC and advice... On a side note: I'm a pixel'er too :D Kinda fun making 'em eh? :wink: I've stopped for a while though, just didn't have enough spare time to spend hours and days on sigs :cry: ... But eh, I'm making two sigs right now :D One I'm making just cause christmas is coming up (pixel sig about santa sort of), and one I'm making cause I just felt like it'd look pretty cool... I'm not great at pixelling but sort of decent I guess, so ya, I havn't started a shop either... But I got a scanner, so it's easier to make the sigs (when I scan).

Can I just say, you're improving real fast. Your sigs used to be just any old average starting pixel sig (no offence), but now I reckon you could starty a shop if not already done... In like a week or two, you've gone from like cartoony weird looking sigs, to sigs like this and your thieving one (which I think is a huge improvement for the amount of time in which this event took place). Good luck with future sigs.
