  1. You can sell them for 1k each, theres always buyers.
  2. Can't be 100% sure, but I think it assumes you have bars. 12k cannonballs is 3k bars, so 3k iron 6k coal would get it, but you won't need 12k if your smelting steel too. *gets out calculator* 3k steel made to cannonballs=76.5k xp smithing 1 iron ore and 2 coal into 4 cannonballs=43xp so if you make your own bars, 1.8k iron and 3.6k coal will get you the xp.
  3. For attack xp, kill something low lvl with high hp. As other people have said rock crabs or experiments are popluar among members. BTW, your sig is over the limits, a mod will delete it soon, try runeweb sigs for something the right size with stats.
  4. Firstly, how would you implement this? Anyway, if you see someone saying "looking for rich bf", generally from a character under lvl 25, and you say yes, well, this is so stupid you probably deserve to lose your stuff, at least you might knock some sense into yourself. Funny how people judge your looks, personality. on how your pixels look. I see enough people following female characters saying "You look hot" etc. I wonder if they would say the same if they knew she was 4 times their age, and had a rl husband? Don't think we need a rule for it, it would be fine as long as people apply common sense. I do agree that its a form of scamming to do this with the purpose of getting free stuff.
  5. Sure it would be nice, but I think its fine as it is. You can always tele to falador anyway. Fishing in Barbarian village is better xp, and I buy raw lobs for cooking, guess it doesnt have too much effect on me anymore.
  6. Pressing F1 would open Internet Explorer help, so you would lag suddenly, lose control over your character, and die. :wall:
  7. Hmm yeah, crazy. From the poll results, tipit is used by over 10000 people, I suppose a lot less would use the forums though. Anyway, tip.it>runehq
  8. ^^ doesn't know what a Mersenne number is. Can't be bothered to explain sorry, but its a maths thing. I would have that program but my laptop is too feeble to run 2 programs at once if its anything more complicated than Word or IE. Thats good news though, less memory use=less lag yay. Can't really tell yet, as the game always runs a bit slower immediately following updates.
  9. This is one of the most important things in this post, do this FIRST, you will go up several smithing lvls. If you do this at lvl 1, you go straight to 29, I would guess this quest will take you from 30-36, just my guess. I expect shades post probably explained everything else you need to know, I didn't read it.

You are right, 99 everything can be considered the ultimate goal, along with huge amounts of money =D. HOWEVER, most people set realistic goals, which are considered achievable. Also, people set goals which won't take years to complete. Just getting 1 skill to lvl 99 is considered a great achievement. Also, not everyone plays the game to get 99 skills, the game is primarily for FUN, not for goals.
  11. Wouln't recommend ice caves due to the lvl of monsters and the food you will need. This will really slow down the xp rate. I can't give you much info on P2P monsters, but for fastest xp train on something low lvl with high hp. A lot of people recommend rock crabs or experiments, a P2Per would help with info on this.
  12. I think everything has been covered, but i'll give my input anyway. The way I did was deposit steel, withdraw 10 iron, put one back, withdraw all coal. Last spot I have 100k cash, as I'm always on the lookout for a good deal =D. I think the other method mentioned is faster, should have thought about it before I smelted 1000s of bars with my method. Though I got ultra fast at banking. Run only on the way back to the bank, energy will stay around the same, with occasional walking trips. As I said I've made 1000s of bars in alkharid, you can push close to 400 an hour if you don't stop at all. No idea why people do mass smelting in falador, alkharid is the best.

I spent ages saving for a santa hat, and theres not much else to spend 8mil on in F2P, so I'm never going to sell it (yet). You should find another way to make money, rares will only increase in value. If you really are that desperate for ~9mil, sell it, its a profit from the amount you paid I guess.
  14. No it won't get to 59, from my experience anyway. Tip.it calc says 9500 fire strikes, but not sure if this is when you hit 0 or hit 8, theres a big difference. So it might be less or more than this. But its probably at least 5k fire strikes. The best thing is to see how much xp you get from 1k casts, and work it out.
  15. Curse does indeed give xp when it fails, so does every spell. You may find that cursing a few thousand times is tedious and boring though. Also, theres no harm getting hitpoints xp. As you want to raise both runecrafting and magic, fire striking is probably the way to go. Make minds and airs, and use a fire staff on autocast. You can mine or buy the essence, depends if you have money to spend. 1 trip to the air alter will get to lvl 2, then make minds up to lvl 11, then make airs (2x airs now) until double minds (lvl 14). Even it out so you have about 1000 of each rune, then go and have some fun fire striking. Train anywhere which has a safe spot.
  16. *checks tip.it calculator* you need 7.7k ess for lvl 44 runecafting. I assume you will make air runes for this, its the only way I train it. In fact this skill doesn't cost anything. Not sure where is good to buy ess now, world 1 normally has higher prices. To get 7.7k ess in 1 go, the forums are probably best, just pm a seller. You can get ess around 15-18gp each, probably in multiples of 1k. Lets say 8k ess at 18gp, so 144k. You will make 4x airs for almost all of this, so you get 32k airs from it. Sell for 20gp each, 640K. Well 500k profit, and it will take about 10 hours gametime. If you want to do it in under 2 hours for a cost, look into the w16 air company. Use search to find info. Now about spending. Definitely get the magic lvl up. Seeing as your not short on cash, I recommend fire bolting at lessers on Karamja. Cursing for xp is so boring, and its not particularly fast. Lessers are much more fun, you get hp xp, and maybe a rune med or two to alch when you get to 55. Aim for at least 55 for high alching, but probably 59, so you have a complete spell book. Crafting isn't too bad to raise. Buying hides is fastest. You won't get a lot of your investment back here, but you can keep a load of str ammys in your bank to sell whenever. You could go for lvl 70, but 20000 hardleather bodies isnt much fun and it will cost you 2mil. lvl 50 is probably more reasonable for now, will cost around 200k. Smithing is nice to have, though again its not a money making skill. Aim for lvl 68, full mith maybe, or even 70 for addy bars. You could buy some ore and mine some, making steel plates. Alternatively buy bars and smith which uses money but is much faster. I suggest buying a few k arrows to increase range, unless you don't like it. Cooking you could buy salmon raw and sell cooked, you might make a bit of money here but the market is small. I raise mine by cooking lobs for no profit but no loss, as I don't burn. Dunno if any of that was helpful, almost every skill has a way to make money, and a way to spend money to get the xp faster. Summary, raise all 4 of these skills. Crafting to 50, costs about 200k Smithing to 68, 8k steel bars to smelt and smith, cost depends on how much you mine. If you buy 8k iron 100ea and 8k coal 150ea, mine the other 8k coal, its almost free. You could buy it all and it would cost about 1.2mil. Alch steel platebodies when you have 55 mage. Runecrafting to at least 44. This skill has no limits, as its a moneymaker. Air company will cost 800k but you get 640k from the airs you make so 160k cost. Mage to at least 59. At 55 you can alch you steel platebodies for good xp. You should still have money left after all this. The smithing will take the longest by far, and is also the most boring when you are smelting. If you get bored this is when you should go and mage away at lessers. Enjoy =D
  17. Actually I think this is the correct forum, he's asking for advice. As said, barbarians are quite good in the pub. You could try the guards in edgeville too, use the gate to protect yourself. If you don't mind losing arrows, range hoblins near the crafting guild from the cowpen, when you get to about lvl 30 range.
  18. Sounds like the whip and mystic top type of scam, I dunno. Maybe theres more to this story.

No you won't be, as you are playing within the rules. It is allowed to take stuff from dead players, however they got the items.

Not sure, but I think he wants to know when shops like rune and arrow stores get reset to full. In which case, I think its only when they have a game update. Everything is reset then, everything respawns, shops fill etc. Thats the only time I see this happen.
  21. I don't barrow, as I'm F2P, but I expect you might want to pray against Dharok.
  22. A lot of books I enjoyed were already mentioned. I loved Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy, though by the fifth book it was going just slightly downhill, became a bit weird. Lord of the Rings I read twice, took about a week the second time, it was so good I stopped doing homework hehe. The only book I enjoyed reading as part of my English lessons was Lord of the Flies, everyone should read it. This book was amazing, not sure how else to describe it.
  23. Still the same xp, you still need to kill 3.1k rock crabs. You don't need a defence pot to kill them.
  24. If your looking for the most cost effective xp, its bronze. However I get annoyed at the rubbishness, I used iron up to lvl 64, now I use steel arrows, I can afford them for faster xp, higher max hit, etc. Yeah yews are a tough market right now. If you hang around in world 1 you could get 250ea, but I would wait to see what happens with the game engine update, you might see a slight rise in price.

I lost my mime top and boots to a rock golem. Oh well, 2 extra bank spots. Only wanted the gloves really, the only white gloves for F2P, got them now. I've had mime 5 times, twice clothes, 3 times emotes. Its one of the rarer random events, but as is suggested its completely random. At least you can't lose emotes. 5 times, so I get it about once every 4mil xp. To demonstrate randomness, I had drill demon once on this account. Made a new account, got two camo pieces in first 2 days. Theres no way to try and get it back, it will just happen.
