  1. Do all the F2P quests before getting members. If you want good money as soon as you get there, 44 runecraft is probably a good idea. Train combat, always useful. Not sure what else to suggest really. Try and get all your skills to a fairly decent lvl. About what to do in members, it depends how long you sill be member for. If its short term, just have fun with quests and minigames, and kill some new stuff. Don't bother with member skills except agility which works in nonmember worlds. If you will be member forever, then do what you like, it doesnt matter.

Fast but expensive: buy big bones and bury Not so fast but free: bones yard in the wild. Just pick up and bury. Slower but more fun: kill giants, bury big bones. Just part of normal combat training. Slowest....kill something which drops regular bones.
  3. I guess I could have, but nothing would happen. Might aswell have some fun with them :P Actually breaking rule 5 (staff impersonation) is a certain ban. Reports for this rule are dealt with immediately. I have reported for this 3 times, each time I got a message the same day saying action had been taken. Compared to the hundreds of other reports I send which come to nothing, this is obviously a priority rule for Jagex, and they implement it immediately. It was probably a throwaway account anyway, but its fun banning people like this :D
  4. Quest isn't hard, theres a lot of walking so fally/varrock teles will help. And watch out for the ice warriors when you mine the blurite.
  5. Yeah just for a laugh. But its way better with 3 ppl following each other :D Don't even think about siggying it  Revenge is easy.
  6. This is against the rules anyway as real life trading. Same as when there was a sig market. Its trading runescape items for something outside the game. So, you cannot do this. Anyway, theres free guides on tip.it which anyone here would know about already.
  7. Yes I believe its exactly the same stats as rune
  8. He probably means runehq hehe. No point going there really...this site is better :D
  9. First thing you should do is the knights sword quest. After finishing you get enough xp for about lvl 30, skipping bronze and iron straight to steel! You never need to mine tin or copper. Cannonballs make 4 per bar, and theres a quest you have to do first. Apparently cannonball making is slow. You could smith in F2P, its not too bad, you just don't make a lot of money. But you can buy/mine iron and coal, make steel bars and sell for profit, or smith and not make profit. Or iron platebodies until you get to steel plates.
  10. Runecrafting nats maybe. You could get to 44 runecraft pretty easily. A lot faster than 75 wc or 76 fishing anyway. I can't help anymore than this, as I'm F2P.
  11. I think you'll find that people who know about the tip.it forums have found the tip.it quest guides too. Also your thread title is misleading, it makes you think theres a walkthrough in the post, and you shouldn't really start with the words "everyone look". Enough of that though, its a nice idea to try and put something back into the rs community. If you want to help people on quests, you could try standing in fally or varrock and advertising your help. You'll probably get plenty of people asking for help. Oh and don't try and sell your advice like the guy above suggested. Thats just not right.
  12. Nice find! I've never found anything like that, by seeing a red dot, best I got from someone dying was rune helm and scimmy at lessers, being F2P. Edit: 100 posts on tip.it!
  13. I used to go to the general store to buy uncuts. I remember seeing guthix legs in varrock world 1 store. I managed to check the price before they got snapped up. Long time ago though, I would never be fast enough to get them on world 1 anyway.
  14. Whats so great about first post anyway? On topic, nice article. I'm looking forward to this new game engine anyway, hopefully help people like me with rubbish computers. I'm in two minds about whether you should have posted a certain person's name in the article, as you do have a no naming rule with regards to rule breakers. Still wondering who The Editor is...
  15. I think I worked out locations, still confused about worlds... oh well I got a week to think about it. Bet I miss the start too  i'm useless at remembering stuff like this.

Its about knowing how to make money. My defence pure is 39 defence (nearly there) and 17 combat. I have got about 400k on it, enough for full rune with a rune (t) kite. This is without transferring, and all skills at lvl 1 except for defence. Its not hard if you know how, I'm not even an expert merchanter, I just buy and sell 1 thing for about 300% profits. And I could do it whilst training. (I'll give it away to you, I bought feathers 3gp and sold 10gp training on chickens). I had a perm buyer. My "main" account has a bank value around 19mil gp, I don't even spend time merchanting, its mostly from skills. Yes I'm lvl 82, combat has little influence on wealth, just that people with high combat normally have played longer. Experience is what counts. On a second account you will certainly make money more easily. Yeah and for anyone who doesn't know, drop trading or transferring any way is against Jagex rules. Some people don't even realise this.
  17. You should mine it yourself in the guild, its probably just as fast as crafting clay you buy. And yeah change your sig, I saw the thread that was in, he didnt even say that, he was quoting something he saw in game said by ANOTHER PERSON. At least take his name off it.
  18. Willows in draynor and bank them. Its fast xp, and you might as well bank instead of looking for a store. Should have a few thousand before lvl 70.
  19. Trimmed and gold trimmed green d hide, studded, and wizard. And (h) kites. Maple logs too. Charcoal I think you can only get in members, but its useless and people just use it to scam. Might be others I've missed.
  20. If you do this, I'll be a perm buyer at 250ea :D Pm me in game if you want.
  21. Tipit calc seems more like 99% correct, at least. Maybe when you get really unusual lvl combinations it might go wrong (imagine 99 range and defence and the rest lvl 1). But your combat is based either on melee, range or mage. The calc tells you which one you are, but almost everyone is melee based, other than pure range/magers, because melee takes into account 2 skills.
  22. I had this same problem mining iron. I could 1 hit every time, but so could a lvl 50 miner and they beat me with faster connection. After about lvl 50, everyone can mine just as fast with a rune pick, 1 hit on iron. Also, coal and above ores don't get any faster with lvl. Normally I was the only person mining iron in alkarid that could 1 hit anyway. This is the best spot, if someone else is beating you just world hop. We'll have to see how this new game engine turns out too.
  23. Runecraft one more lvl and make nature runes. This is much better than any suggestion so far, smelting steel is to slow, glove selling isn't worth the time and effort probably. Nature crafting is a popular moneymaker for members.
  24. Off topic but you might want to change your sig, not sure if you are familiar with BBcode. Copy and paste the line below to your sig. Should come out with a picture sig like mine. On topic, you will probably get a lot of people saying experiments or rock crabs, knowing how these threads always turn out. As a F2Per I can't really advise.
  25. Two things for those saying just add someone in public chat Number 1. Some people have full friends lists. My friends list fluctuates between 99 and 100 people, its not that convenient to add people. This isn't so bad for me as I play on the same world most of the time, but some people don't. Number 2. Sometimes no-one is around. This applies to me when I'm rune mining in lvl 46 wild. By the time I log in my scout, log out of my scout, log in my miner, mine ore, I have forgotten which world I am in. As I have a system for world selecting, I probably visit the same world again within a few minutes. This isn't the only situation. Once I logged in at about the quitest time of day. I was alone in fally east bank. Yes really. This update would be great, one of the more sensible suggestions I have seen here, it actually makes sense to put it in.
