There's actually an ongoing experiment lead by Satenza into the frequesncy of Barrows drops and how it changes with kill count. I checked it a few days ago and they hadn't posted the results but keep an eye out for it because it will probably be the most definitive answer to your question. Found the link : http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=442323 df

For slayer I'd say there is no real trick to it. It's good to have high range I think so you use less food on assignments and stay longer. If you want to use melee most people spend the money getting the 'Bones to Peaches' spell at the Mage training place. Full Guthan is also good apparently but it requires high combat skills to wear and costs a fortune (10-11 mil last time I looked). One of the best ways to train smithing is using the Gold Gauntlets obtained from the Family Crest quest. These give 56xp per gold ore smelted. The best place to mine gold is the mines you access in the Between a Rock quest. If you use the Ring of Charos(u) (Requires Creature of Frenkenstrain and Garden of Tranquility) the boatman will charge you 3 gold ores (5 without the ring) to run a full inventory of gold to the bank for you. You could save the gold bars and mine the Shilo Gem rocks (you'll need to do Shilo Village quest first though), if you wear a charged glory ammy you will get a lot of gems. (You could also steal from the safes in the rogues den but I never did that so IDK). You can then use these gems to train crafting. I think the way most people power train crafting is with leather but it's quite expensive (at least 100gp per leather, more in bulk). Thieving I don't know about. For power training mining you could use the Goblin Mines (need to do the Lost Tribe to access) where some guy will buy the iron you mine for very little gp but it clears your inv quickly. Apparently granite is a good way to power train as well (almost as quick as iron but lots more xp). That's all I can think of. Grats again on the fletching df

Moss giants are ok. Plus they're pretty soft. I've had a few ranarrs off them. df

Thanks so far guys. I thought crumble was a flat rate of xp but I could check although I might go for something more fun (I suck at any form of power training, no patience). I'm not a big castle wars player, I've been a few times and sucked thoroughly. I might give it a shot later once I get around to properly training mage. I like the idea of going to the barrows, I've never been before because I guess its going to be kind of expensive in terms of pray pots and food although I have a fair amount of both in my bank so I could give it a shot. Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming... df

From the farming skill. You use secateurs on a grown willow tree. df

Ok, so I'm rooting around in my bank clearing out all the rubbish that's left in there from quests and training and I turn up a couple of thousand chaos runes. I have gold gauntlets atm but can easily get them changed to chaos, so I'm wondering, were does anyone think I should shoot these chaos runes off? I'm looking for suggestions which give either: 1. Good money/drops 2. Good xp 3. Both (obviously but I doubt this is going to happen) I have a vague notion of killing some metal drags - good idea? Other suggestions gratefully recieved. Cheers df

Yep, I used mossies up to level 60. There are plenty of safe spots in the varrock sewers, especially the southern pair. Moss giants also drop a good amount of seeds. You might want to take some nats and fires to alch away any good armour drops. This lets you stay longer been bank runs. df

No sale. I had a slayer assignment of a hundred and odd lessers when I was at lv 70 and I was going through so much food using melee it wasn't funny. I don't reckon lessers are any use until 80+cb minimum, probably 85+. Moss giants would maybe be alright at 60 cb if you had full rune (chain is better than plate because moss giants use a crush attack), you would still need a bit of food though. df

If you have done the Rock and a Hard place quest then he mine you accessed in that quest is absolutely the best p2p location. Take a ring of Charos(u) and the boatman will take away and bank you gold for 3 ores a time. df

On topic: From the tip.it guide: 'If you lose or drop your enchanted secateurs, then you have to pay Malignus Mortifer 40k to get another pair back.' @Infinite Destiny: Learn some manners. df

You could probably have some success at the Lesser Demons under Karamja. There are some good safe spots and the drops aren't bad (also the drops aren't too varied so you can stay a long time without banking) - plus you get to watch people get nailed by the Lessers every so often. You won't need much food and they drop rune med helms pretty often. Once you hit level 60 then Fire Giants are probably the best target. df

Its west of the castle entrance, near the water pump next to the allotments. You need to complete Castle of Frenkenstrain to use the dungeon though. Its not really much of a graveyard, only four headstones. df

Draynor. In a house on the West side of the square north of the Draynor bank df

Don't you get given a kitten as a reward from that quest? I'm sure I still have mine knocking around the bank somewhere, I can't think why you want one, they're massively annoying. df

You can often pick up a d-long pretty cheap if you loiter about in Seers bank for a while. I used to merch them a bit when I was training fletching, I got one for about 75k, usually they sell for 90-100k so you wouldn't lose much even if you bought one from the shop. I bought a d-long but I usually use a dds for quests and a dd(unpoisoned) for training, I find that the accuracy and good spec on the dagger make it pretty comparable to the d-long for training purposes (plus its really cheap). I may switch to a d-scim when I eventually get around to doing MM. df

Apparently the caged zammy mage in Varrock castle is a good one to try, he has fairly high mage def and recovers quickly if you accidentally hit him. Otherwise you could try the zombies or skeletons across the water in Lummby sewers. If you're feeling adventurous then blue drags have high mage def I believe so you could safe spot them in the Ogre Enclave (watchtower quest required). df

Try this: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=490687 The effect is not cumulative with the Salve amulet btw. df

I usually figure on 60xp per iron knife if I'm picking them up. That works out to about 6k knives. df
-
I always figure on about 60xp per knife in total. df

Any weapon with a slash attack will do it. Dragon dagger is a popular choice. df

Iron knives are the best for speed training range. Go to the hall in the north of the barabrian vilage and range accross the tables (don't attack the guy with the bow though - not good). At 30 move on to gaurds, varrock palace roof is good. At 40 I hit the moss giants in the Varrock sewers, there are good safespots at the south spot - especially after they stop being aggressive. Snakeskin armour is a pain to make so most people don't, therefore it's difficult to buy, i agree ^^ wait till 40 and buy green dhide. df

Check out the Champions guide. The goblin guy is totally easy, I killed him with about six fire blasts at about lv60 mage without any robes, he didn't hit me once. df

1. B 2. E 3. N/A 4. B - farming (seed drops from monsters will pickpocket farmers when I can be bothered to train thieving) 5. N/A 6. N/A 7. B 8. N/A - I keep all seeds because they stack.

Fair enough, a new tele for f2p guys, but pretty useless for p2p (glory tele to edgy is close enough to make the fuss of getting the sceptre unworthwhile). What is that effect? Divine? What does it do, I don't understand what you wrote next to the pic? EDIT: Scratch that, I worked it out, just tells you how many charges are left. Oh well, thought it might have a nice set effect. I'll have to have a sniff around this place later, see if it's better than the Rift in Soul's Bane for cb training. df
