  1. They are special slayer drops. You can wear them as armour and get some stats boosts. Most people don't bother with them until addy. I have a ton of iron-mith boots in my bank because I never drop anything but people don't generally buy. df
  2. Get 6-7k of iron knives and range fire giants or ogres or if you are feeling rich get your hands on a whole load of cannonballs (And a cannon) and blast away at the rock crabs or dagganoths - you'll get your xp and everyone will hate you :)
  3. 140, five full inventories.
  4. Basically Accept Aid means that when someone casts teleother on you you will be presented with a screen that offers you the option to accept (it pops up like te wilderness warning screen). If accept aid is off, this doesn't happen. The problem is that in the time you are shutting this screen Dharok is beating your wagon around the crypt and you aren't eating/sidestepping/whatever. The person can cast teleother repeatedly until you a dead then pinch your stuff. So switch accept aid off. df
  5. Keldagrim-East, near the crafting stalls
  6. I'm not authority on this, although I have posted it before and been shown screenies of Jagex responses saying not legal. However, I have seen numerous Jagex responses saying its fine. Personally, I have used it and never had a problem nor heard of anyone having a problem. However, it may be worth using some caution whilst doing this. df
  7. Thieving is: 'You feel your respect for other people's property diminishing' I believe.
  8. No, that's the monkey madness one. This one just melees.
  9. All of it is required for those gloves
  10. If you hit an average of 5 per arrow and don't pick up then you'll get about 1mil xp so enough for 83-84 range. You could try fire giants, blue or black dragons or black demons df
  11. Well if you can get level 43 prayer then it will be pretty easy. Probably best to post the following levels so people can better advise you: Attack: Strength: Defence: HP: Range: Mage: Prayer: I hear rumors of a safe spot for rangers down there but then other people tell me it has been removed. I did the Quest without Protect From Melee at about 60-65 combat. I meleed it in full rune with a rune scimmy and used almost a full invent of lobsters. I would not suggest you try it this way :)
  12. If you haven't already done it then Eadgar's Ruse Quest will give you about half the xp you need to get to 38. Other than that you can go fast by buying what you need, herbs, seconds, w/f vials. Or cheaply by growing/collecting your own herbs (killing chaos druids is a good way apparently) and collecting your own seconds and vials. df
  13. 1. I was always under the impression that you could wear an item on an f2p world if you logged in wearing it, however once removed you cannot reequip it. Also I think the stats for p2p armour on f2p worlds are zero so full rune > full dragon. 2. No-one, except Jagex, can say with certainty but I very much doubt it. Jagex have also said p2p items don't work on f2p worlds so I guess ROW is included. df
  14. Most people seem to choose the rune scimitar as a good balance between speed and hit power. I trained in f2p with a rune scim, in p2p I use a d scim for strength. The hally is ok for safespotting but I find it very slow xp, although you need no food.
  15. Hmm, all languages are 'made-up' It is true that the English (although the term loses some meaning doing back this far) made up the word holiday as a compounding of two old norse words. However, seeing as it can be traced back upwards of 600 years I would have thought everyone would have had time to get used to it by now :) So as you can see we're going to have to blame those norwegians for the word holiday. Btw, Vacation is actually derived from latin and dates from about the same time (I guess we made that one up as well :)) Back on topic now: THose prayer spells look useful. I guess I'm going to have to ecto all those bones I've been saving
  16. Meh, gnome cuisine? I can't stand it and I don't see a minigame / WOM-style task based thing changing my mind. The new ships might give a new shortcut to Burgh de Rott, that'd be cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the new giants etc., I'm spending a lot of time fighting these atm an update would be good. I think I see a new quest in there too, maybe not. I'm not suprised they are taking time out, they must have been working overtime over the last two months with all the updates they've put out.
  17. It gives 52 xp. Idk how fast it respawns.
  18. The other problem is that no-one has ever put enough time in to assess the drop likliehood for rare items from various creatures (you would need to kill literally millions for an accurate estimate). So no-one can say whether probability of a good drop changes between monsters. Btw I met someone who had trained to 100+ cb at the fire giants without a d med drop! That sounds like bad luck to me but just so you know for left halves rare really does mean rare.
  19. Level 75 ankou in the security stronghold final level. They don't hit too hard and they have very good drops. df
  20. Personally I have never been and won't be going for a good while yet. However, when I do I intend to follow this guide (linked in Leesters Archive of Wisdom) to the letter. df Edit: meh, can't even post a link. And you're welcome.
  21. Not really. Every time you kill one there is a very small chance of getting one. Say one in 1/10000 (probably much less). You could say that after 10000 kills you would, on average, have a d left, however even that is not certain. df
  22. The moss is in the mining area south east of Tai Bwanno village. Check out out quest guides for more help: Jungle Potion
  23. Not only that but the bows are untradeable anyway.
  24. 50 For more info look here http://tip.it/runescape/?page=thieving_guide.htm#other df
