  1. I don't really follow. He says he has scammed some lv73 accounts, go on and report him, but I tend to agree with AndrewGibb that he's more than likely lieing. Also you should at least remove his name from the pictures as it doesn't affect the point you are trying to make and it's against forum rules to name other players. I'm also not sure whether claiming to have a scammed account is really any sort of offence. df
  2. It's the same gang you were in for Shield of Arrav. If you killed Johnny the Beard in the pub you are Phoenix If you had to give crossbows to Katrine you are Black Arm. If you aren't sure talk to Katrine and Stravan, one of them will talk to you the other won't (as I remember). df
  3. Wow. Ok. Been doing it for a while with no problems but I shall edit that tip out. :D I have to say though, that is very unfair on disabled people who have to use mouse keys but fair enough. df
  4. I'd always go for knives but I don't know why. I just finished throwing 10k of iron knives. The xp I got from them was about 65 per knife and got me to 67 range. Knives are easy to make whereas darts require feathers and the Tourist Trap quest which I have just done and is, without doubt, the least enjoyable, and most irritating quest I have ever encountered. Furthermore, if you are using your knives/darts to train you don't want to use poison anyway as it lowers the xp you get per monster. df
  5. This wins the prize for the most randomly funny thread I have read today. I have a fantastic image in my head of someone chasing a bat around a house with an airhorn and a snowshoe. That's going to last me all day :D df
  6. That's what I was talking about. So you did. Didn't notice sorry. Edited my post to mention it. Nice avatar btw. df
  7. Right now: Ranged and slayer preferably at the same time. I also like runecrafting for some strange reason, I can't see it lasting though. df
  8. 1. Unfortunately Jagex consider this tip to be macroing for some reason. So don't do it. Post on page 3 confirms. 2. When safespotting for range take a few water and body runes and a earth staff. Before you start rangeing the monster cast curse on it. It will draw the monster to your spot without leaving your arrows spread everywhere and lower def by 5%. EDIT: Credit to Kashi on this one too. I didn't notice, but she's already given it as a tip. df
  9. "There are few things more fundamentally encouraging and stimulating than seeing someone else die" Paths of Glory Maybe not my absolute favorite but way up there and the best I can remember right now. df
  10. Yes but: a. more risky b. more expensive as chaos requires pure ess. (although you'll probably make your money back selling them) Also in order to use the abyss with any efficiency you'll be needing at least 5 glory ammys df
  11. West of Catherby (south of seers but Catherby is closer for banking) there are 7 which I always use. df
  12. There are 2/3 respawns to the west of the river in Lumbridge or two spawns in the farm south of Fally, just north of Port Sarim. There is a farm with more respawns on Entranta but it's a pain to bank. I'm sure there are more. df
  13. But only if your herblore is 24. Greenman's ale only raises herblore by 1. df
  14. Tip.it has a formula but they won't tell you what it is. So people keep using the site. df
  15. good point on the gloves  I'm safe spotting so def is unimportant. But thanks. Guess I'll do without a cape.
  16. Ok, I'm ranging blue drags for slayer and I need the best range bonus necessary. ATM I am using: Full Red D'hide (lv68) ROW (no bonus I know) Glory Archer Helm Mage short No boots, No cape. Question is: what is the best setup to use for range bonus, without using ranger boots, robin hood or archer ring (can't afford :( )? Any ideas? df
  17. Camelot Teleport. Get a ton of laws and an air staff. Tele, then tele again, then tele again etc. This is both fast and expensive. df
  18. If you are p2p you can get a pouch, or pouches depending on your RC level to hold more ess. If you are rich you can use W16 airs, but this is expensive if you have less than 44RC. You can craft fire runes quickly if you are p2p using duelling rings. You may also want to try body runes. You can run to a from Edgeville bank to the altar, it's a bit further than the air altar but you get more xp per rune. (p2p can use glory ammys to speed up the return). df
  19. Erm, last week was the first time I had 1mil in gp (I was level79 then too). But I've probably had a mil or two in items (seeds, herbs, glories, runes etc.) for ages. I don't usually have much in cash because I spend it on things I need to raise skills. df
  20. It's even better than that because they give you back the same amount of ess in notes so all you actually do is run back and forward from the bank (unnoting ess) to the air altar for 2000gp a run. You might have to supply the first 25 ess but that's it. As for other ways, you are quite limited in f2p. Ess mining used to be a good way but isn't any more. Killing cows at lumbridge is good. You can sell small amounts of untanned cow hides for 100ea in the Al-Kharid bank, or if you store up large amounts they can sell for 150ea although that's hard to do because f2p can't post on th forums. Having said that, I still think iron would be better, it's quicker to mine 28 iron than to kill 28 cows. df
  21. Ok, was just saying. Full details of the W16 airs are on their official thread on the runescape forums. The quick find code is 37-38-433-25002498. Basically you trade them 25 unnoted ess for 25 noted ess and 2000gp.
  22. The crafters either trade 125 airs (crafters who trade airs wear blue robes) or 2000gp cash (crafters in black robes trade cash) for 25 unnoted ess. Edit: Forgot you also give them 25 noted ess. People prefer cash I think. I think you have to apply on their thread to be a crafter.
  23. Use this code: 37-38-433-25002498 on the official forums to jump to the World 16 Airs thread. BTW it's 125 airs or 2k cash per 25 unnoted normal ess you deliver df
  24. Your best bet on F2P is mining iron and selling for 100ea. You'd need 3k to get your 300k (although you'll get full rune for 200k btw). It wouldn't be too hard to do 10k per day is only like four loads of iron a day so, its quick. Plus with a rune pick you should be one-hitting iron soon. You could also try coal at 200ea but it is slower to mine and it's best to wait until lv 60 and use the mining guild. Don't try fishing because the spots are too far from the bank. df
